Well, tonight, multiple schools across the state are on high alert after receiving a mass email yesterday, threatening to blow up buildings. Education station reporter Danielle Wiggins was able to get a copy of the original email and joins us live from North Olmstead. Danielle, what does this message say? Well, Isabel, the email claims to be from a Russian terror group that says that they have planted multiple explosive devices in American schools because of the support the US has given Ukraine. Now a staff member here in North Olmstead Schools received that email which was actually sent to more than 70 recipients. Sunday afternoon, the district began working with law enforcement who deemed the threats not credible. However, North Olmstead superintendent Dave Brand tells me as a precaution, the district had an extra police presence at all of their schools today. He says they also completed a safety sweep of all school buildings before classes started this morning. No matter whether the threat is deemed credible or not, we have to act as if it is credible because of that priority of safety. And so we felt with working with our police department here that on top of doing the security sweeps and having bomb dogs through the building. We just felt that that extra security, extra police presence was important to, again, to ensure the highest degree of safety that we possibly could. And this morning, the FBI released a statement saying in part, the FBI is aware of the numerous hoax incidents where in a bomb threat at a school is made. The FBI takes these hoax threats very seriously because it puts innocent people at risk. Now, that statement goes on to say that the FBI has not received any information of a specific or credible threat, but they are still working with law enforcement and law, their law enforcement partners to continue to investigate. And Isabel coming up at five, we'll talk about how this threat has impacted school attendance here in North Olmstead today. All right, Gladys is all being taken seriously. Education station reporter Danielle Wiggins reporting, Danielle. Thank you.
