Another race that we are tracking right now. Voters and Stockton are also picking their new mayor tonight. It's a race that we have been covering for a while now. And so here are some of the early results, what we're seeing right now. We are seeing to in the lead with Christina in second place right now. But again, this is still early and things could change. ABC 10 Gabriel for is live at City Hall in Stock right now. Gabriel, you had a chance to talk with some of those candidates. Were they telling you tonight? That's right. Still a lot of votes left to be counted. But the results so far counting 14.1% of voters here in San Joaquin County are painting a clearer picture of who has the best chance at taking the mayor's office here in City Hall. I feel fantastic. I have an entire team. A lot of volunteers that put in the extra effort, optimism but not surprise was the mood for Tom Patty and his supporters tonight despite only a percentage of votes being counted so far, he told us he is confident he will advance to a November runoff. I'm thrilled by the position I'm in. And the next runner up is a friend of mine, Kristina Fugazi trailing Patty for most of Tuesday night, didn't hold a party but says she is confident that she will be the one to challenge Patty in November. In a statement Fugazi said in part, quote together, let us honor the democratic process in the spirit of unity that binds us all onward with pride and purpose for Stockton and for all who call it home, Dan Wright, Jesus Andrade, Jessica Velez and Shaquille Ahmad are trailing in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place. Still hundreds of ballots away from reaching the top two. And the registrar of voters office plans to release updated results every two hours until all in person ballots are counted. So that's to say there could be a lot of changes and we'll follow those all for you here.
