so now what Revenge welcome back friends this is going to be a movie review of episode one called more than I ever wanted from a Brazilian romantic drama called desperate lies 2024 on Netflix this drama goes way back in 2006 revolving mainly around the marriage of lyanna portrayed by Juliana pae and her husband Tomas portrayed by Vladimir Bria but before we go any further here are some of the things you need to know first about lyanna she loves children which is why her job revolves around children but for some reason she keeps failing to have children of her own she lost a Brother 13 years prior her best friend is Deborah a childhood friend and her husband is a known and very good lawyer though her biggest downside is that she is the type who does everything on schedule including time with her husband making it not romantic at all because of this it is not that I'm defending the guy but he ended up seeing another woman called Claudia in his biking group like I have mentioned above lyanna was very desperate to have children of her own and when it was time for her to try again she rushed to her husband they had a moment but then she finds out from the guy's phone that he is cheating on her and the pictures on his laptop confirmed everything which pissed her off they ran into a bitter argument and the guy parks to leave but she made it clear to him that if he walks out of the door it was for good so because she needed someone to talk to she invites her childhood friend Deborah that very day who instead advised her to revenge and took lyanna to her little brother's new nightclub that very night Deborah's brother is called Oscar and it was 10 years since she last saw him the thing is given the situation she was in whereby she was not thinking straight but rather using her anger instead when she got to Oscar's Club he got her very very drunk and took advantage of the situation something he always wanted from way back and it was not until the following morning when she got back to her senses she realized that she had done the same thing she was blaming her husband for unfortunately Tomas had an accident the following day but he told his sister Sylvia who is a doctor not to tell lyanna because of the misunderstanding they had and it was almost a week when Sylvia was forced to tell lyanna that Tomas was in the hospital yet she thought he had disappeared with Claudia so she immediately rushed to the hospital where they managed to settle their misunderstanding given that they were both in the wrong long story short after some days of settling in lyanna finds out that she is expecting something she desperately wanted but when she finds out after the examination that it happened the night she spent with Oscar she begins to worry that the twins she is carrying may not be for her husband especially after finding out that Oscar acted irresponsible so she goes for a paternal test and shockingly she gets the news that the fraternal twins she was carrying each was coming from a different father thanks for watching if you have come this far and until next time God bless [Music] [Music]
