How UCLA is hitting all the right notes this season | College GameDay

there's a new sound circulating on UCLA's campus a composition called Bruins in B Sharp it's their first 6-0 start in 17 years it's bold and balanced rhythmic and harmonious and hitting all the right notes this season they're beginning to prove that they belong how do you explain the evolution of this program I think just paying attention to the details that's something I've definitely seen in the spring and then in Fall Camp I think we cleaned up a lot of stuff it's just an accumulation of everyone just executing their jobs that's what really gets us in a rhythm the leaders on this team being able to come together as a group this off season and say enough is enough we got to get this thing going we talk about it all the time being a player-led team that's the biggest difference from this year in comparison to previous years for sure which team will have the most dynamic explosives and that's been UCLA I think as a team you know we just come together but especially with dorians just feeding off each other I think that's something we do really good it's a back and forth thing he makes a big play I'm trying to come back and make another one move those move those oh man Zach sharpen a darts out of it hurdles a man I think it's a really good Dynamic and it's and it's really fun being out there with him what are some of the things you've seen from him that help you be better on the field he's not afraid to tell you if you're wrong and you know that's something I actually really like about him I think that characteristic you know just being upfront with someone is really special the toughness accuracy the leadership awfully impressive for the fifth year senior sometimes you're not going to hear what you want but if it's something you need to hear I think it's really good to tell someone he does a good job at that you see yourselves as a dynamic duo that's pushing this offense to Greatness I think it gets looked at as that because we're the ones that are making the splash place [Applause] it honestly wouldn't happen without the other guys on the field we just couldn't give enough credit to those boys it really is a reflection of the whole team how well we're doing downfield look at him go Logan lawyer 78 70 yards touchdown UCLA you have now thrown more touchdowns than any other quarterback in program history why did that make you emotional I think that's what makes this team so special I think that's what makes me love this place so much and where I'm at I have people here that genuinely care about me that genuinely love me and want to see me succeed and that's why you know I decided to come back I decided to play my tail off every game for these boys we're all excited that's a big achievement all the hard work he's put in all the adversities face over last three four years what is the pressure and the expectations that go along with being one of the few remaining undefeated teams in the country there is none yeah there is none there's no expectations and there's no pressure because we don't even know where our ceiling's at we're headed in a really good direction right now it's definitely been special [Applause] thank you for watching ESPN on YouTube for live streaming Sports and premium content subscribe to ESPN Plus
