Connecticut Sun defeat DC Mystics. Dijonai Carrington and Marina Mabrey are splash sisters!

to do it all the time the Connecticut Sun guys I just turn off the game we just defeated the DC Mystics today this afternoon yes at their Turf in our nation's capital Marina Ma and D Carrington were cooking up okay they are Splash s together I was very impressed with their performance now for the play byplay the first quarter begins and Jones scores okay Sykes makes one of two free throws Caron hits her first three-pointer Edwards scores Sykes scores and they are tied five to five Sykes makes two2 free throw shots Burton hits a three Olivia scores Caron makes yet another three Sykes scores Caron is two two free throws kingon hits yet another three in the first quarter she made three three-point shots I was blown away the mystics make two of two free throw shots Sykes is two of two boner makes two of two and the first quarter ends with the Connecticut Sun having points the DC Mystics 14 points sidebar so again I'm I'm still new to a lot of these teams I don't watch on a consistent basis so a lot of the players of the mystics I don't know so sometimes I'll just say DC Mystics scored the second quarter kicks off Mystics makes one of two free throw shots then the mystics hit a three Jones scores inler Emily inler I know her she scores the mystics might yet another three and we are tied 22 points to 22 points then Harris makes a three then Atkins hit a three and we are tied again at 25 25 points Harris makes one of two free throw shots Harris scores maber hits a three Mystic scores Kon scores dson scores Dawson hits at the three maybe scores then boner hits at three boner scores Edwards scores syy scores Olivia two of two for free throw shots Edward scores Atkins scores Olivia two of two free throw shots and the second quarter ends with the DC Mystics having 42 points the Connecticut Suns 45 points the third quarter begins Dawson makes a three-pointer and we are tied with again have 45 to 45 points May makes a three and then may makes a three and then yet again May makes a three she made three three pointers back to back to back I said her and D Caron are shown up and shown out for this game then Caron scores right after her so then Edward scores Jones thoroughly impressed during this game you know was a lot of injuries people were getting hurt Alysa Thomas was literally carried off the court and had to go to the locker room and like a freak play uh a member of the DC Mex like literally smashed right into her leg and she was just like really down bad a lot of people saying it was her karma think like she's a very physical player okay she been snapping girls up and down the court throughout her career Briana Jones decided to get her respect back because the way she was playing the other day when it was Connecticut Sun versus fever and Indiana fever again she was missing so many layout points and like Jones was really disappointing me but tonight she was actually busy again she remembered that she's six' three and she got knes that can that work okay they got enough elasticity in them for her to hop jump and Skip boner was cooking up okay B was making three she was scoring Veronica Burton she got the ball stolen from her some here and there but she's pretty good with the offense but I wish she would do better with scoring you can tell it scares her to even think about even attempting to make a three-point shot and Olivia Nelson OD DOA okay she is the Erica Ham's sister-in-law she used to be married der hamy was married to Olivia Nelson's brother older brother and again she's six foot five she scores here and there but again like she's kind of slow uh with with the ball movement ball handling and passing she was responsible for some turnovers tonight again Tai Harris she was really really good she didn't make as many three-point attempts in this game but she was making some threes okay she was scoring um and you know she was doing the thing but we got to give it up to the new Splash Sisters of the connectic C Sun okay if they can continue this momentum we can beat New York Liberty and take take the championship of 2024 y'all the connectic son could win if Marina Ma and DJ carring continue to perform how they perform this afternoon towards the DC Mystics okay they put up so many threes it didn't make no sense okay it was after Marina ma put up all those threes the freaking coach for DC mys he ain't have no choice but to call out a timeout again I like the ball movement between carington and Marina mabery they were just again like the new splashes I like how they ended that rivalry they had since College they came together you know they said you know we still we're now wearing the same orange Jersey we both represent and play for Connecticut Sun we got to come together and just squash the beef and become and do something great again tomorrow guys it'll be four games playing my Connecticut Suns play Chicago Sky plays Las Vegas Aces plays the Indiana Fever plays again this WNBA Schedule drives me insane but again I'm off thank goodness I got a 4 Day weekend hours off Friday I'm off Monday so I'm G be in the crib eating me some good food watching all these games I'm trying to cover
