Week 1 Is Here! Detroit Lions vs. LA Rams...What To Expect

what's the deal y'all it's the motorc city connect and it's week one it's week one man it's game day finally we've been waiting on this all year man ever since we lost the same friend we've been waiting on this day bro it's a new season and man hey it's gonna be a good one we got La the Los Angeles Rams coming to Detroit again um week one Sunday Night Football so I'm going give y'all my predictions uh I'm going go through the depth chart kind of get y'all the keys to Victory and at the end I got some picks for y'all U so stay [Music] tuned all right y'all so we gonna get straight into the depth chart to start it off um obviously Jared GF is our starting QB nothing changed with that running backs um nothing changed with these two demo Gibbs um Gibbs is gonna be ready today he practiced a full week last week um and so I think he going be straight nothing too much different in the wide receiver room the only thing that's changed is Tom Kennedy was elevated to the active roster for this game not sure if he'll play too much um he might get in a few reps might get in a little bit of special teams but other than that I don't see him really playing like that tight end room is the exact same Sam leaport is our guy Brock rght is probably gonna get some reps as well um oine the exact same Kevin zitler um look out for him this year he came from Baltimore last year so this will be interesting to see him next to Pan um I think they'll do smooth for sure dline nothing changed with this one the only thing that's different is DJ reader um now I know Dan Campbell said he was likely to play week two when we play Tampa Bay um so I don't necessarily see him playing today I don't understand why we would play him um and risk you know um to increase that injury rate so I don't think we should play him um and I I hope we don't I ain't gonna lie um Levi he's still a d tackle Marcus Davenport um this is his first year with Detroit it'll be interesting to see how he goes up um opposite of Hutch and uh that'll be interesting because I think you know if we can contain Stafford and make sure he doesn't have a lot of time to get you know Cooper cup the ball make sure he don't got time to get um what's BR name Puka Puka nura if he doesn't have a lot of time to get his guys the football I think will be in good shape so Marcus Davenport I think he'll be um a key piece in the win today linebacker room pretty much the exact same nothing changed with that now the secondary the secondary is going to be a really thing uh a key to watch today because we obviously have borderline a whole new room Carlton Davis um terion and amek all those guys it's their first year playing for Detroit terion is obviously a rookie and then you got amek is a rookie not amek um inis he's a rookie as well Ami came from uh the Raiders last year Carlon Davis came from Tampa Bay those guys are going to add some strength in our secondary um but yeah terion and inis those guys are rookies I think inis will get some reps at nickel today depending on the coverage uh because we obviously got Branch here he starting safety but I think he'll roll down into some nickel um just depending on the coverage as we run Kirby Joseph obviously are free he's gonna be playing over top and if he he's had this angle injury I don't think he'll play that they ruled him as doubtful um but I don't think he'll play today I would rather save him as well um it's a long season 17 games kicking team not too much to talk about for that um yeah man so I think the keys to Victory today obviously our secondary if we can contain M Stafford right limit his time in the Box I think we'll be straight obviously pukaa he heard us last year in the playoff game uh I think he had over a 100 yards so if we can stop him and we can stop Cooper cup I think we'll be in good shape kyen Williams and Blake Quorum um I'm not too worried about those guys especially because they got him they got both of those guys rotating with kick return and punt return um so I don't think there'll be a huge threat our run defense should be straight um since we got Al up front um and Levi in the middle um I think we'll be straight to be honest with the Run game I think the pass is gonna kill us um that's going to be you know the reason we win or lose for real for real if our secondary can contain those guys I think we'll be straight for real now going to the offense um I'm not too worried about our offense at all for real I think we can have our way especially with zeitler and pan next to each other um those guys are going to give jarro G as much time as he needs we don't got Aaron Donal playing against us this year he's retired so that's a a huge win for us when it comes to their D line um I also know that a few of their starting o Lan are out right so if we can Rush Stafford you know you know like I said limit his time to get uh Cooper cup and um pukan n Co with the ball I think we'll be fine now Jamir Gibbs he practiced all last week I think he'll come out you know on fire for real for real demo obviously our guy in the trenches um I think he'll play well and then J Mo right I think this is J Mo's game to kind of step out and do what he got to do I know um La they're starting Corner out as well so obviously Amar I think he'll have over 100 yards um J Mo I think he'll have probably over 60 50 60 um first game where he's a true two I think he's G to get a lot of looks this day uh this game a lot of reps um and I think that's the keys to winning bro for real for real if we can limit the pass um we'll be straight I don't think our offense is going to have too many issues especially we don't got Aaron Don this year playing against the so I think we'll be straight man um now I'm going to give y'all a few picks I'm G start doing this every week just give y'all three picks I think will hit um and y'all take it as y'all May I'm no expert um it's just my opinion so y'all take it with a grain of salt but um I'm gonna go amarra over yards right he's at 84 and a half I think he'll clear 100 easily for real for real um so that's my number one pick Amar ra over on the yards receiving yards um jarro G over 268 and a half um I think he gets 300 this game I don't see a problem with him getting 268 I think he's had 280 um like the last 10 games it was a certain um stat that I saw he had over 280 at home so I think he'll clear 268 easily um so I'mma go Amar over receiving jarro go over passing and I'm gonna go I'm gonna go David my gri touchdown man um now in the Red Zone we have a lot of depth obviously anybody could score at this point it could be you know am manra it could be leapa it can be Gibbs it can be demo um we have a lot of weapons on offense but I think when it gets down to the trenches we're going to give demo the ball and I think he'll score today so those are my three picks man um you know we gonna come back back later on see if that hits or not but other than that um I think it'll be a good game I know Detroit is going to be rocking I wish I could be there but um yeah man it's going to be a good one so y'all let me know y'all predictions in the comments let me know what y'all think the score is going to be um I think the over under is like 54 let me see so they think it's going to be a similar game to last year in the playoffs um the over under for today's game is is 52 and a half right so I think we my score prediction I'mma say 28 17 yeah our spread is four and a half I think we'll easily clear that I don't see us you know winning by less than seven to be honest um I don't think we'll have a problem scoring I think if our defense holds up it should be a good game it should be smooth um not saying La isn't a good team they're a really good team m Stafford um I still think he's a top 10 quarterback so it's going to be interesting game I think we'll come out on top um pause and uh we'll go with the victory
