Uh, here we go again, another slight risk of severe weather across all of North Texas. Uh, tonight, the main concerns I have will be damaging winds up to 60 large hail, you know, maybe up to quarters, it's really more of a damaging wind threat and I can't rule out an isolated tornado that threat, still pretty low tonight, but here's what's happening. The metroplex, we're starting to see some thunderstorms already erupt a little ahead of schedule in parts of Parker County, even a little bit of rain and, and some thunder popping up in Tarrant County. This is not the, the main chance for thunderstorms tonight, but we do have severe thunderstorm warnings in effect down towards Stephenville. So, er, Rath County, uh, is included in the severe thunderstorm warning, Comanche Bosky County and Hamilton. There's the track of it. It'll be in total around 230 to Glenn Rose 1046 some 60 mile an hour wind gusts will be possible here, uh, down through blum at 1112 in ri vista around, uh, 1120 wider view shows you the thunderstorms in Western Oklahoma, the eastern Panhandle of Texas. That's what we're gonna keep our eye on and I want you to see that thunderstorm activity here on time casts at 11, watch how, you know, this, this particular model, uh, takes these thunderstorm into North Texas later tonight. So at one o'clock we'll be watching for thunderstorms from Haskell up to Graham and then by two o'clock from Bowie, still into the Graham area, into the metroplex. Somewhere around two, maybe now, three o'clock in the morning, we'll see these, uh, clusters of thunderstorms roll through. This could bring some winds 50 to 60 miles an hour that may wake you up very early in the morning. Just know that that's 4 a.m. from mckinney down to Dallas right along I 20. The other factor that we need to worry about, uh, besides the fact that we'll have these damaging wind potential gust in these thunderstorms through five or six o'clock in the morning will be isolated flash flooding. We have seen a ton of rain this spring. We've seen several inches of rain today alone. Every county in the metroplex was under a flash flood warning at some point today because of all of the rain with all of the rain coming in tonight, an additional 1 to 3 plus inches is expected, there could be some isolated flash flooding, make sure you check in early tomorrow morning on daybreak because there could be some spots that really slow down because of that. Now again, there's that level two slight risk in effect for tonight. Now, tomorrow we'll see a, a decent break from the rain across most of North Texas western portions. I do expect another batch of showers and a few thunderstorms to roll through. That one's likely not to be severe. But then Friday evening Friday overnight, it's good. Saturday morning, things are looking fine. We will get another break. But in the meantime, any thunderstorms on Friday could again pack a little bit of a punch but it's a lower threat for severe weather level. One in the Dallas Fort Worth area tonight. 69 with some severe thunderstorms, uh, winds out of the south 10 to 15, tomorrow is 80 degrees. The showers and storms are mainly in the morning. We could have some afternoon activity but it would be more scattered. There's the 14 day. Well, I wish I could tell you we are taking a big break but we're not, we still have unsettled weather through the weekend. It's more of a scattered variety of thunderstorms. Some could be severe even into the following work week. We could have more thunderstorms which could be severe. It's just been an active spring and that rolls on.
