C co-chair and Donald Trump's daughter-in-law Laura Trump was for some reason invited on CNN to speak with host Casey hunt and the two of them began a rather you know normal conversation talking about mail and ballots as mailin ballots start to go out in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania and Casey hunt decided you know what Donald Trump said something pretty crazy over this weekend and uh you being not only his daughter-in-law but also the co-chair of the RNC kind of want to get your thoughts on that so here's what Donald Trump posted over the weekend here we go again where is the US attorney general and FBI to investigate where is the Pennsylvania Republican party we will win Pennsylvania by a lot unless the demms are allowed to cheat the RNC must activate now and he claims that 20 % of the mailin ballots in Pennsylvania in the 2020 election Were Somehow fraudulent which of course is totally not true and he based that off of something he heard in a Tucker Carlson interview which of course was obviously not true but Trump saw it decided to run with it so Casey hunt was like hey by the way while you're here let me ask you about this and it was at that point that the interview kind of went off the rails because Laura Trump had no no response whatsoever when asked to defend her father-in-law and her party's nominees comments so here is the entire exchange of Laura Trump humiliating herself and unfortunately having to admit that maybe maybe her father-in-law is lying about it take a look uh Laura I also want to ask you about something he posted uh recently on Truth social where he actually called on the RNC the the organization you are co-chair of to activate now and this was around mailin voting he said uh he was quoting Tucker Carlson here with an election expert that 20% of mail in ballots in Pennsylvania are fraudulent here we go again where is the attorney general the FBI to investigate where is the Republican party in Pennsylvania the RNC must activate now now in August the RNC your RNC and the Trump campaign launched a get out vote tool where Pennsylvania voters can request a mail-in ballot directly is the former president saying that Republicans in Pennsylvania should not ask for these ballots I know quite the opposite Donald Trump wants every voter no matter if you're voting a republican Democrat or third party candidate to feel comfortable that you 20% of them are fraudulent he's specifically referencing information from the 2020 election what we're talking about right now is making sure that every vote matters and every vote counts and I've worked very hard what information do we have what evidence is there that 20% of the mail in ballots in Pennsylvania I didn't see that report so I'd have to go back and look at it so I can't directly speak to that but what I can tell you is we've worked very hard on the ground at the RNC to make sure every voter in this country feels like when you cast a ballot whether it's VIA mail whether it's early voting in person or whether it's on Election Day in an election uh office around the country your vote matters and your vote counts and Donald Trump very much wants every Republican voter to vote however they feel most comfortable and every voter in this country to vote however they feel most comfortable so I would have to go back and look at that I have not studied that all right Laura Trump I do very much appreciate your time thank you very now I want to give top marks to Casey hunt for That interview but I can't I can't she did a decent job she did not do a good job she did not do a great job by any stretch of the imagination in fact when given the opportunity to really engage in a fact check Casey hunt failed I I do like that of course she said hey you know where where's this info from but it's not enough to say hey show us your evidence if you're going to make these claims I do like that people do that because you do need to do that but then once they fail to do it once Laura Trump stumbles and is like well I've personally never seen the report I who knows it should have been at that moment then Casey hunt said okay then let me tell you what's real what's real is that your father-in-law and his lawyers of course filed 62 lawsuits following the 2020 election each one of them alleging some type of fraud that swayed the outcome of the election and all 62 of those cases ended up being laughed out of court because there was no evidence now of course Donald Trump lied during the debate Tuesday night and said that those cases were thrown out because they didn't have standing which is true in some of the cases sure but they also didn't have evidence because if you had the evidence you could just go and find a different person who does have standing being a resident of that state or whatever um and they could file it and you could just give them your evidence and you would have been successful so it's not just oh we didn't have standing it's you didn't have evidence Mike Lindell is having to pay a man $5 million for proving him wrong because he doesn't have evidence and been yapping about this for four years now Carrie lake is having to pay out in a defamation lawsuit we're still waiting on that uh amount to be determined during a trial but for defaming a republican in Maricopa County who she said rig the election all of these Republicans who have made these claims and Casey hunt knows this have either been hit with massive lawsuits like Dominion smart mtic hell I mean Fox News alone they all made these claims and they're all paying a price for it lawyers have been disbarred for it so again I can't give Casey hunt like full top marks for calling Laura Trump out because you needed to go this far but you only went this far and this far is okay sometimes but you know the truth you know the real facts you know that Laura Trump is sitting there lying through her teeth and you could have fact checked her but instead as soon as she finishes her lies you're like all right Laura Trump I do very much appreciate your time do you know why they do this if Casey hunt had actually engaged in a real fact check of Laura Trump if she had done what she needed to do and put her in her place do you know what would happen complete Embargo of CNN from the Republican party there would be memos Laura Trump is never coming back watley's not coming on Trump won't do any things with you ever and no Republican candidates we don't want any of you to go on CNN screw these people they made me look stupid that's what the memo well the memo wouldn't say that part but they would tell the entire Republican party boycott CNN no more appearances so I understand to a degree why Casey hunt couldn't go scorched Earth against Laura Trump I don't agree with it I think it's stupid but that's what this is about so when we demand more from the media we also have to understand that the media can't give us more even when the hosts want to because if they go too hard against them they'll boycott the network and then half their guests are gone out the window so that's why they go soft on these people most of the time every now
