Now, it is said to be the biggest outbreak of its kind in nationwide in over a decade across the U.S. 9 deaths and nearly 60 hospitalizations have now been linked to listeria after a massive recall from Boar's international manufacturer and some of its deli meat products. One death has been reported here in New York State. Locally, though, we have not seen any recent listeria cases last month. Officials with force had originally recalled Liverwurst and other products meant to be sliced in Retail, Delhi's with sell by dates from July 20th to August. 30th on July 29th. The recall was expanded to include all foods processed at the company's plant in Jarrett, Virginia. All recalled products have since been removed from stores. They are no longer available for purchase but when it comes to symptoms here, they're very similar to other foodborne illnesses. Things like fever, chills, aches, nausea, health experts say they could show up right away or weeks later, if not a couple of months making the bacterial infection, especially difficult to detect.
