all right welcome back to another top 10 songs video here B the old YouTube channel and today's I'm going to be counting down my top 10 favorite songs by Lany Wilson I'm a pretty big fan of her music and she just dropped a brand new album Whirlwind just a few days ago and I did a full album review for it and an album ranking for all of her albums and so I figured why not also do a top 10 songs video for her music before we get started y'all be sure to drop your top 10 favorite songs by her down in the comments below I'm sure all have very different picks since she has many great songs but that is the fun part about doing these top 10 videos seeing everybody's different choices so without that out of the wait let's jump straight into it so coming in at number 10 for me is going to be a song off of her third album saying what I'm thinking and that is going to be a dirty looks uh this album in general was a pretty important album for her since you know pretty much broke her into the mainstream cuz F and man ought to know you know I think went to number one on the radio and you had other really great song like neon diamonds but dirty looks is easily my second favorite song off that album I think it's a great song Start to Finish great vocals from Lany Wilson but she's just a great vocalist in general she has good vocal performances on all of her songs including this one of course just a great great song always been one of my favorites off of this album and it is going to be my number 10 so coming in at number nine is going to be a song off of her brand new album Whirlwind and that is going to be 4X for by you this is a really awesome song a very catchy song I should say really uh very catchy chorus that's very easy to sing along to and this was one of the singles released for Whirlwind so I've known it for quite some time whenever it first uh came out I forget what month it came out but once it came out I really got into it really really quickly since it does have a very catchy course that gets stuck in your head but the whole S as a whole is really great and obviously one of my favorite songs by her and a big stand out off of the brand new album so 4x4 by you is got that is going to be my number nine now we are at number eight and I have another song off of her brand new album Whirlwind and that is going to be good horses featuring Miranda Lambert uh they both uh co-wrote this song together and they did a pretty good job on it I think both of their vocals sound pretty good but both of them of course are great uh country senters and what's interesting is I could do a whole top 10 video on just songs lady Wilson is featured on but uh this song in particular is her song that has a feature on it which makes this list and is the only song on here with another uh vocalist but I could do a whole top 10 on songs by other artists that she has featured on and you know shows that you know she's a pretty popular country artist and pretty talented on it can s on all sorts of stuff but good horses pretty good laidback chilled song really like it quite a bit big stand out off the new album it is going to be my number eight and now for number seven we have one of her biggest hits without a doubt and it comes off of bell bottom country which is my personal favorite album by her and probably her most essential album and that is going to be a wild flowers and wild horses this isn't one of the first songs I actually heard by her I got into her by you know hard like a truck and watermelon moonshine and I listened to a bunch of other songs before I actually listen to uh this one but once I listened to it I really liked it start to finish I think it's a really really uh cool song great vocal performances pretty catchy song just a great addition to a bell bottom country and her the scar graphy it is going to be my number seven and now for number six we have one of her most recent songs another one off of the brand new album and one of the singles and that is going to be hang tight honey this is just a fun fun upbeat song Start to Finish just energy energy energy great vocal performance very very catchy course just overall an awesome awesome Feelgood song that right when I first heard it whenever it was released as a single really got into it and quick became one of my favorite songs by her so hey tide honey that is going number five so coming in at number five is going to be the final song I'm going to mention from the new album I feel like I've been talking all about the new album but it is a really great album and that is going to be country's cool again this was the first single that was released for and once I uh first heard this song quickly became one of my favorites by her just an awesome awesome song I was even seen in chorus kind of a little bit out loud whispering to myself at work the other day cuz it's just a catchy catchy song great chorus great vocals just overall an awesome awesome country song that pretty much lets everybody know country is cool again cuz I mean country is you know kind of getting bigger than it ever was you have all the rappers like post Malone and Jayy roll com in the country music all sorts of you know cool stuff just a great time to be in the country music in my personal opinion and Laney Wilson is definitely one of the essential artist uh for new country for sure and country's cool again is going to be my number five so coming in at number four is going to be a song she did for the new movie Twisters and that is out of Oklahoma I have not seen the new movie yet or even the original Twisters even though I really want to and should cuz the soundtrack especially for this new movie Twisters is awesome so much new country on there that I absolutely love and this was definitely one of the highlights off of that soundtrack for sure I think this is one of my favorite Lany wils and vocal performances without a doubt just a super fun song to sing along to and get down with very nice chilled out song that I really like quite a bit and like I said a big stand out off of that twister soundtrack just the soundtrack alone makes me want to check out the movie but I've heard good fans about it so I'm sure I'll likeing quite a bit but out of Oklahoma that is going to be my number four and now for number three was the song that got me into Lany Wilson that is going to be watermelon moonshine my first ever job was for my neighbor's horse farm that I live next to but they also own the store 5 minutes down the road from where we live that sold you know horse speed and you know horse stuff all sorts of stuff like that and over the radio that it would be like a newer country station with a new country and you know that's where I heard a lot of these songs on repeat and watermelon moonshine was a song that kind of was played on repeat and I really liked it quite a bit and I remember the lyrics and the title so I looked it up when I got home and discovered who it was and it was Lany Wilson watermelon moonshine and never since then I've been a pretty big fan of hers really like this song quite a bit might be overplayed for some it is a pretty pretty big HP but I like it quite a bit it's an awesome song it is going to be at my number three and now for number two is definitely her breakout song fain's a man ought to know off of the same what I'm thinking album just a great great song this was the third Laney Wilson song I think I ever heard cuz my grandpa was actually talking about this song we were talking about some new country songs we listen to and this was before I really discovered a lot of her music cuz at this point the only things I really knew by her were watermelon moonshine and hard like a truck but he was mentioning this song in particular and once I got home I checked it out and listened to it and really liked it and you know that's what prompted me to listen to you know Bale bottom country and say what I'm thinking start to finish as for how much I really liked a lot of these songs and F A man I don't know just definitely one of her most essential songs without a doubt and it is going to be my this on guitar finally the other day and it has quickly become one of my favorite new country songs to play on guitar and what I like about this song is how catchy it is just the catchy course that makes you want to sing along and rock out to it's a very feel-good song it might be about typical country stuff like trucks and stuff like that but you know has a clever spin on it it's it's not like cringy to me the way that a bunch of voter songs about trucks and stuff are a lot of this newer country that I like uh some songs that have similar themes to like 2010's country that a lot of people didn't like I think are more done nowadays or better nowadays if that makes any sense but hard like a truck just a really great song that I love quite a bit it is for most essential song I think and
