Max the 2024 AFL season is officially over for us um I'm sure there's lots of emotions going on right now but how are you feeling how's the group feeling uh I'm okay um pretty flat weight to end had a pretty impressive week last week rolled into a hot team tonight um we fielded the team without May Le Petra roll of a bra all you had told me that at the start of the year it's a pretty crazy pivot that I taken and we've been able to blood some young stars during it which I'm pretty excited about and Jacob Ben Roy and Harry Petty and Daniel Turner hold up positions of 30-year olds H up um the Midfield late was Ed langon Jud MC and Trent Rivers um and then a backline of Adam Tomlinson and Tom McDonald and Marty Hall so it's it's changed a lot um disappointing year there's some some games that I would love back the two freem manal games in particular the West Coast game doggies um and then there's some games that we could have got over the line Port Giants Brisbane up at the Gaba so we're thereabouts um we've been able to blood some young Stars next couple weeks I'll really I'll meet with everybody uh we'll have long chats working out what the best way forward is and how we make this club great again like you said Reflections will come in these next coming weeks but what was Goody's initial message to the group just after the game I think it's pretty raw still so it's it's very Benny Brown ES in there and um thanking Benny Brown for The Works he he's done for our football club um Alex Alex Neil bull two Premiership players that have departing and then Greg Stafford as well um who's I had a one-on-one coach for eight years and then he went and coached the forwards which I was pretty flaty but um there's a pretty direct um linear line on when I started performing and Greg St had been in the club so I'm forever thankful so just initially some thank yous and um we talk about the game in the season a little bit more in depth for the next couple of days you touched on it briefly just at the start but you know what's that message for the demon faithful for the future the 2025 season it seems like you're very headstrong in the talent within this list what is that message um yeah we've been um we've been there abouts the last 3 or 4 years and we're going to get a break um and we need this break so if you look at some motivation over the last few weeks last few years calling went had a break at 21 really big offseason really big preseason they come back and um they're a strong team 22 23 Sydney had a break in 2020 come back good team jalong had a break last year come back good fresh team so there's a bit of motivation that we really utilized this break and freshen up we haven't had one I've been going pretty much for 4 years so um September will look very different for us this year and um you can be grumpy about that which we are but the motivation is purely on 2025 now and um what I do these next four weeks could set me up that back into 25 want to see more from the D's and don't forget to subscribe up here
