Cleveland area weather forecast: Humidity lingers with storm chances

Temperatures are a little better for most of us today into tomorrow. We're gonna be in the eighties. We're still gonna have really high humidity. Friday is gonna be our hottest day of the next several with temperatures well into the nineties from there. We are improving as we head towards that weekend. It's a big one for a lot of folks, temperatures in the low eighties or Saturday and Sunday. And then that relief is gonna feel fantastic. By the time we get into Monday we're gonna have cooler temperatures. We're also gonna have lower due points is gonna be a great combination for us as due points have been very high. The last few days, we're gonna keep those eyes getting into Thursday, Friday. Even much of Saturday will still feel on the humid side. We're really gonna see those dropping Sunday into Monday. We're gonna get a cooler, more comfortable air mass to settle in next week as we get towards that Labor Day and beyond. So that's gonna be a nice change for a lot of us. We did have a little bit of a change today. We've got more of a northerly breeze, especially closer to the lake shore, some cooler temperatures. We're just in a little eighties there. But as you get away from the lake, those temperatures do increase very quickly. We are a steamy 94 degrees uh down towards Dover. So location, location, location uh out there for today, we've got mostly dry conditions. We've seen some sunshine today. Uh just one little shower so far trying to pop up in southern Summit County there. We are gonna see a little bit of cloud cover at times and we're still gonna keep at least that chance for an isolated shower storm. We're gonna watch some of this development back towards Michigan. You can see that first line of showers really tapering off as the hit Lake Erie. We'll watch that just to the west of the metro Detroit area. See if we can get any action out of that. Here's the opposite end of the spectrum this time of year all the way out towards the Northern Rockies. They've got some snow falling in the peaks up towards Glacier National Park. So that's the other end of things that could be happening this time of year and a sign of what's to come. We've got cooler air really just trapped across the northern Rockies. Right now. We've got cool air for them. That's not the case for the majority of the country. We still have a lot of hot and humid air towards the plains, Midwest, much of the country, right. Now really still dealing with the heat and humidity. So it's still gonna be a couple of days before we really see that relief. As far as this evening, overnight temperatures drop back into the seventies and sixties out there as well. We will see clouds just for an isolated shower storm. Not out of the question for tonight. Tomorrow, we're still gonna keep that chance for a pop up shower storm. We could see some fog. First thing in the morning, a temperature is still a touch above average into the low to mid eighties through the afternoon hours. And then as we get towards Friday, we'll look at the national designer hour by hour forecast. Remember Friday is gonna be a hot day for us. It's also gonna be humid. We'll see that chance for some mainly PM showers and storms to pop up. Big concern though is going to be, that feels like temperature for Friday. That'll be well into the nineties through the afternoon from there. We do have a lot of improvement, Union home mortgage seven day outlook. We'll see showers lingering into Saturday but then a lot of improvement for the rest of that weekend, Sunday, Monday looking very nice Monday and beyond looking fantastic, Betsy. It does and Jay is not gonna complain that it's too cold this weekend. No, I thought it was gonna be colder. Um, but I can do 8081 on Saturday and Sunday. He's gonna complain Jay, you can stay inside on Monday and everyone else will go out and enjoy. I'm not, I, I will be outside but I, I wish Monday was a little warmer, is all.
