[Music] the entire stringing operation of the US Open Rings up 700 a day which is just a crazy thing to think about it's important for players just because obviously you have to feel comfortable with what you're swinging we miss a ball by an inch that could be a pound on a racket day or night cold hot windy not windy all of that matters and it all kind of starts uh on the other side of the store with what people don't really know is that this operation actually happens every day at the US Open grass J and the entrance is not far from here we're talking 80 yard or something away player is playing a match and a runner brings it in and we have to turn it around as fast as possible depending on the string and the racket type but usually it's about 15 or 16 minutes and then we can get that racket back and run out to the court each player is assigned a specific Stringer for the entirety of the tournament which is great because as you're giving that feedback you're not having to explain it to someone new every time someone's on your page they look at their notes they understand what you need and you can have that conversation that is a great adjustment that did not exist uh 20 years ago so for the whole tournament last year we did just over 7,000 and we're on Pace right now to be there or maybe even a little more we might break that record again [Music]
