Jim kale original basist of The Guess Who has hired a band of musicians to tour across the US they've done this for years and they're even putting up music as the guess who but they're selling the shows on their tour with imagery and music of the original guess who from the 70s and it's misleading is what it is it has prevented Randy and Burton from being able to sell shows in the US they've told stories of with their booking agent trying to uh book venues and the venue is like what do you mean I just had the whole band here last week and they're like no you didn't and it was these hired musicians now Gary Peterson original drummer is occasionally there but especially lately he is more often not there so you're really seeing these hired musicians who are not the Guess Who and maybe they have the name but they're advertising their shows as if they're somebody else completely
