Tommy you were rolling but this was an Abrupt ending you never want to see this kind of a win um did you have any inkling that there was something going on how do you react when you see something like this yeah I mean it's unfortunate uh the first set was obviously super entertaining tennis um I mean I love the way that he plays I feel like um it's it's great tennis on both sides of the court and then yeah I think I saw a little bit there in the the end of the second and uh you know obviously I wanted to finish I was playing really well um but yeah I mean it's unfortunate indeed you were playing really well talk to me a little bit about your play how impressed with you were you of your own performance yeah I mean I I was uh very happy I I thought I picked up my serve uh there in the second set I started hit my forehand really well um obviously it helps when you have a little bit of a lead um to work with but yeah I mean I was really happy with the way that I played I I love playing on this court I love playing in front of you guys so uh thank you guys so much last match you played until 2 a.m. this is a little bit better for you but once again this crowd sticking here to watch you play New York City just loves you thank you guys thank you all right congratulate one more time Tommy Paul
