so the leader of the proud boys Enrique torgio got uh sentenced to 22 years in prison for getting involved with the January 6th riots or coup attempt is probably more accurate way to say it and I gotta say like why do groups like this exist might be something that people are curious about um why is there a group like the proud boys what is their purpose and the truth is is that in all fascist movements this happened during the the reign of the Nazis in Germany uh happened in Italy as well with Mussolini that there are always these like militant groups designed and especially in white supremacist fascist ideology to get rid of the power of the state and replace it with what they call this sort of uh racial law and racial based policing and control and the proud boys are just kind of part of a long dark and proud tradition of that
