L man you had 52 yards on the your first three carries on that that opening drive how important was it for you to come out and basically establish the running game right off the bat after last week um it was very important cuz I mean we like to run the ball but we also put it in a too but we just like to run the ball it was uh it was very important we'll go back behind the lights on the right side to Ben hey Leon uh just between you know year three in the program and and Coach mfi coming in as well how do you feel like you're able to hold up uh just deeper in games a little more on your play and just physically after you get through these games how how do you feel like uh maybe from before y'all you're holding up um I feel like I'm in the best shape I ever been since I got to college um especially with Coach Mafi coming in I had like a lot of little minor injuries like my past two years coming up like hamstring injuries but when he got here like that problema went away we'll stay behind the lights in the middle to Tyler yeah Ley on the way you guys were able to control the ball and and just you know Pound The Rock I mean how much confidence does that give this offense now uh you're heading into play next week um they give us a lot of confidence I mean know the the old line up front was doing their jobs so I can do my job so very much confident we'll go second row on the left side to Alex hey Le'Veon what' you see from Connor today on the field responding from last week and just kind of his demeanor throughout the game on the field or on the sideline I mean Connor always keep his head up but uh he definitely improved himself from last week week um it's just about up we're not upgrading but progressing as the week go on so we can play a better game we'll go front row on the right side to Travis and then Brent I know there's not a whole lot of new guys on the offensive line but does it feel like a new offensive line compared to what you've had uh in your time here yes sir most definitely I mean I feel confident running behind them every down I don't give how long the run is or how long the sticks are far away just don't matter I feel comforted behind them we move going row back to Brent and then Alex want to go back to your recruitment what was it that you ultimately changed your mind from Alabama to Texas A&M what what prompted that a couple years ago um I just uh the coaching the coaching staff was very genuine I mean I'm big on genuine gen being genuine with folks so um it was just very genuinely felt like home besides being back home in Louisiana it just felt like home so we'll go second round the left side to Alex so what's it like being on the sideline when that all walk-on kickoff team runs out there and and and Fields the kickoff a that's lit um I love when they get the chance to show they uh talents I mean it's lit that's all I can say we'll go front row on the right side to Travis a lot more uh lineman pulling and stuff in this system what's that like for running back get seeing those guys move being behind them and and having different kinds of holes and Pathways opening up in that kind of offense uh it kind of causes me to be more patient uh last year I played in my head and I used to try to rush runs and stuff to bouncing outside and Crossing color basically but o line helping me and I'm helping them with the steps I need to do and what they need to do all right it looks like that's all we have thank you Lon thank y'all
