number three if you been falling along with this event day two got cancelled postpone that is um because of severe weather got a damn hurricane Debbie blowing through here after day one weights were crazy tight like we thought they'd be and ended up being 55th out of the entire field so right there in the middle we got to get to that 50 50th place to get in that cut which means we're got to catch them better day one was crazy I freaking I I lost fish like crazy I broke a rod I dropped a rod on the lake I had like six knots Come Undone on my leader knots it was just one of those damn days that you want to forget and put behind you because if it could go wrong it pretty much went wrong and uh we only ended up with 18 lb 5 O which we can do a lot better than that had that storm blow through and now we got strongish West Winds 5 to 15 mph throughout the day today so this Lake runs north and south that's why they canel yesterday due to a 15 to 25 South Wind and then if so you guys know we talk about it quite a bit after a giant front blows through and that South Wind switches to West that can be tough for fishing so I'm hoping these Smallmouth are just crackheads and they have to eat out out there in the open these rors that I'm chasing no matter what and it makes the Largemouth fishing tough for a lot of those guys that wait in big largemouth bags but we don't freaking know till we get out there um I think I'm going to start in the spot where I finished day one but I'm a little bit nervous honestly because the wind is blowing out of the West and it's kind of on the east side so it'll be like 7 miles of wind blowing into it I don't know we'll figure it out and if that place sucks we'll go somewhere else all right catch the first spot although he began the day in 55th Place Ben is only 2 lb back from the top 10 Anglers catching 20 lb today will send him way up the leaderboard Ben was met with swift winds and tight lipped Smallmouth at his first spot he decides to make a quick adjustment by moving to some more protected Rock in 20 to 30 feet of water and quickly receives good feedback with a jig well Ki it off of this little [ __ ] little ones here little little that feels better that is better little crawfish eater on the turd bu r at least not going to be one we even need three and 1/2 clearly it's time to put down the weak ass little jig and go hunt some Giants with a 3-in minnow and six lb line like a man we don't need to jump today we don't need to be jumping God there we go still not the right one dang it man I thought he was like a high three three
