The Shocking Super Bowl Overtime Rule Change: What the 49ers Players Didn't Know

I mean I guess it didn't really matter cuz they didn't score a touchdown but the first year that they changed the rules the Super Bowl goes to overtime but I mean yeah they would have kicked the field goal and they still would have gotten the ball back but um it's it's just kind of weird did you hear what the like what they were all saying after the game so obviously I kind of alluded to it that the a lot of the 49ers players were saying that you know we didn't even know the rules changed you heard use Che say like you know we just we just kind of wanted the ball we wanted to go right down score a touchdown win the Super Bowl and everyone was like well maybe you should read the rule book because that's not how the rules are in the playoffs and then Eric Armstead said the same thing he was like we just needed to get a touchdown and win the game and then the reporter was like you guys do know the rules are different in the Super Bowl like or in the playoffs and they all were like yeah we didn't really know about that
