Reaction: Louisville beats Austin Peay 62-0

year two of the Jeff Bram era is underway as University of Louisville hosted Austin P here at eln Stadium today and wow the Cardinals just thumped the governors and you expected them to win win big they were up they were a 36 and a half Point favorite and they played just like it they were up 10 nothing after the first quarter made it 38 to nothing at halftime and then just CR cruised to a 62 nothing Victory start the season out 1 and0 and a lot of positives to take from this game and you do want to have the the little Aster that this is an FCS opponent that they played but certainly a lot of value in this game you got to see Tyler shuck come out and just display the ability that he can with his arm spread it around to multiple receivers his favorite Target being Jakari Brooks the Alabama receiver who had a really nice day Jaden Thompson with a pair of catches both for touchdowns from Tyler Shu an unbelievable catch from tight end mark Redmond on an unbelievable throw uh in the back of the End Zone from Tyler Shu and just an unbelievable uh allaround outing by this offense and the defense offensively don't want to forget about freshman Isaac Brown we've heard a lot of Buzz about him through through fall camp and he showed it especially on his one play where he broke threee for 77 yard touchdown just has a speed that takes it to a whole another level Duke Watson another true freshman running back had a solid game and defensively I mean this is a team you pitch a shut out no matter who you're playing and you're doing something good but it was great to see them get multiple sacks 13 tackles for a loss you created turnovers with a fumble and a pick by TJ Capers great to see that red red shirt freshman getting involved as well so Louisville football season off to a big victory in your in in game one next up for the Cardinals Jacksonville State back here in elen stadium next Saturday 3:30 kick the Gamecocks little disappointed to start their season starting off 0 And1 after getting just beat pretty handily at home by Coastal Carolina so the Cardinals expect to be another big favorite next weekend back here in L&M Stadium
