James good to talk to you how's it going over there yes we look NAIA just a day after Matt stutzman won his incredible gold medal here on the blast of the an Val in the center of Paris stman known as the armless Archer and a huge day for him well today now it's time for the Mixed team compound uh events which are taking place as you mentioned right now we've just uh seen Indonesia beat Iraq in a very very tight round of 16 and right now as we speak France are currently facing off against Australia uh France who are hoping to be able to get through to the quarterfinals we'll have the results for you in just a couple of minutes times as it happens right now the compounds uh category uh that is actually one of the differences uh compared to the Olympics it's not actually part of the Olympics normally it's slightly slightly modern version of archery which is also included in the par Olympics that's pretty much one of the only differences that comes uh with this event compared to the uh to the Olympics just a couple of weeks ago that happening just now China got a a gold medal once again this time in the W1 category just earlier on this morning but also on this uh very area just on this very Blaster just around here around the the um the bridge you can see behind us the B Alex just a few hours ago the triathon uh wrapped up the triathon which of course was delayed by two days but finally man city was able to go forward go ahead this morning we had two gold medals for the French one of those uh coming for Alexi and that was widely expected that he'd be able to defend his title from Tokyo and he did so with brilliant style he finished to finish with it 3 minutes ahead in in the in the race uh this with all the cheers from everybody who was a who were able to come and cheer him on because of course unlike many of the other events this is a free one all you have to do is stand by the side of the road and go on and cheer your favorite athletes so they've had plenty of Ali Li Blues going on throughout the rest of the morning right now the podiums are still happening the podiums because there are 11 categories in the triath and this of course because every uh all depending on the different disabilities so that everybody is regrouped in different ones but 11 categories that's a lot of singing and a lot of anthems uh still coming our way and the triathon uh which defers in a few ways but not that many and in fact it's actually taking place it took place in the exact same spots as the previous uh the the previous triath did during the Olympics with the swimming in the river sen across the bond and the the running taking place just around here as well slight different of course for some they have guides others are using handbikes there are also tandem bikes that are being used but there also of course athletes have to change their prosthetic limbs from from one event to another but they managed to do so obviously so we can see how much training there is that goes into managing to do that very quickly and then off they go uh back into the running or the next event from them so all of that happening uh in here in the center of Paris is what Paris has wanted to showcase the best landmarks and today is a perfect example of how everything is happening just within very small areas behind us there's the the the um uh the bridge that I mentioned but just next to us there's the Eiffel Tower there's the hotel of the avit there's the gell next to us is pretty incredible when you sit in those stands watching the archery you've got you know buyer postcards to send back home uh that's what you'll see on it and that's where the Olympics are taking place the par Olympics are now taking place uh and it's pretty pretty amazing to see we'll be coming back to these sites over the coming days because it's not finished for the archery just just yet all right sounds like there's lots for you to enjoy there uh thanks very much James Cena for us there near enel
