what is up what is up what is up awesome people of the internet hope y'all are doing well hello hello hello hello hello guys we got some basketball to talk about tonight it is going to be super super fun uh in this game in particular we have the the uh Indiana Fever versus the Las Vegas Aces now guys this is the fourth time that these teams are matching up against each other and in all three of the previous games the Las Vegas Aces won those games so that first game we saw the aces win 99 to 80 second game it was 88-69 third game which just happened two days ago uh was 86-75 and now we do have that fourth game between the Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever now where we stand in this in the stand is right now we have the Las Vegas aces in fourth place and we have the Indiana Fever in sixth place and possibly looking to move up if they can uh so guys it's about to be a very very very uh fun game for us to talk about and and go through um we have the MVP versus the Rookie of the Year right Asia Wilson uh versus Caitlyn Clark Asia Wilson versus her her um her friend and aiyah Boston Gamecock versus Gamecock it's it's about to be a fun game it's about to be a very very fun game again we just saw these teams play each other we just saw them play each other um two days ago and uh who doesn't love a backto back rematch guys uh CAC hello how you doing how you doing CAC um CAC we'll see uh ultimately how this fares I think this is a strong starting lineup uh for the Indiana Fever this is probably their uh their best starting lineup I know sometimes Nelissa uh doesn't have the best of games but I think she's just an incred incredible talent talent to not start um and so yeah she does get the starting nod for today's game all right we are about to kick this game off so it's about to be a fun time all right and guys just so y'all know the game is happening in Indiana game is happening in Indiana so all right we got Asia Wilson versus is her uh fellow Gamecock and enough start uh Caitlyn is crazy off today like crazy crazy off today um but you had those games you had those games sometimes but uh Asia Wilson is continuing to be Asia Wilson guys she has six points so far four rebounds one block looks like they did not call that last one as a block um so yeah uh let's see who uh Kelsey Plum has six points so far Jackie young with four for the Aces and for the Indiana Fever we got aiyah Boston with four Nelissa Smith with three and Kelsey Mitchell with six uh so far Caitlyn is 0 of two um has two fouls and already has a technical foul uh CAC says I don't understand the refs uh hitting the padding is not grounds for technical in my opinion it depends it can be it can be a grounds for a technical it depends on how it's done so this last one like she barely she barely hit the padding like to me like that was incredibly soft like that that was I could see scenarios when you where when you hit the padding that's a technical but what we the technical we just saw not a technical not a technical man like I think I think sometimes sometimes the refs do a little bit too much in my opinion um and maybe they come into games with agendas or whatever but that that was not a tech that wasn't so well ultimately see how how the game continues to go from here uh FM says funny if Angel would have done it you would understand understand what I'm confused that wasn't that wasn't a technical it was a sof it was a soft technical if Angel did the same thing I would say it wasn't a technical but if but if it was Angel that did it and I said it wasn't a technical then it'd be people saying I'm biased so maybe I'm not biased because or according to other people because um it it didn't happen to Angel so I don't know I don't think it's a tech but you know I I could see I could see instances where hitting the um hitting um the base like hitting that padding could be a technical but this instance was not it it was not it all right um we are start so far all right we'll see how this game continues to go but I would say I would say Good Start so far I would say I would say good start to this game so so far um it'll be interesting to see how the aces sort of count uh counteract this run because this lineup is really good Timmy [ __ ] bleay and um and demirez dtis as your post players yes you have um you know uh Aaliyah and Nelissa but Aaliyah's out because it looks like uh she got hit in the face uh so she's out she went to the locker room and Nelissa Smith she has scored in this game so far uh but sometimes all you need is New Blood uh sometimes the the starters just aren't um the thing that'll sort of give you the win and so sometimes you got to bring in the bench and and see and and watch the bench work and we're seeing we're seeing them do their thing and so I think that's a huge huge huge asset to this team huge but we'll see how this go how this continues to go right now the Indiana Fever are shooting 47% from the has 300 and 18 assists so far um the closest one is Alyssa Thomas who had uh 316 last year uh but Alyssa did it in 40 games Caitlyn has done it in 38 games telling you man these this this year this is a different year for women's basketball this is a different year man these players are built different and they doing some different stuff so huge huge huge huge shout out to Caitlyn for that it's pretty [Music] awesome um but it's kind of funny that they they the the the assist that they credit her for for making that um for making that uh that record is a inbound pass and y'all I don't really think that was an assist cuz to me it used to be that a assist uh was if if the player you passed it to did not dribble the basketball or if they did uh they dribbled it once and then and got the score um Kelsey Kelsey Mitchell dribbled like she dribble like three times went from the three-point line to the paint and scored this is not me uh taking away anything away from the uh the the assist itself but like seriously though like three dribbles from the person you pass it to and then completely moving their POS position I I don't know if that's if that's really an assist but huge feat for Caitlin Clark absolutely huge feet I'm telling y guys uh these players are built different these players are built different uh Lindy says she broke the record before that she didn't though she didn't I'm just saying I am a little bit surprised that uh Kelsey Mitchell didn't take it for herself but that was a good shot by Aaliyah I'm not mad about that shot I'm not Aaliyah Boston can't hit threes I'm not mad about that shot I'm I'm not mad at it because Kelsey Mitchell didn't shoot it Kelsey Mitchell should have just been selfish and and and took it herself um because Kelsey was in the paint she had an opportunity to lay it up she had an opportunity to lay it up and so I think that um I think that was a good play drawn by the aces I mean by the by the Indiana Fever uh it's just that Kelsey Mitchell she had an opportunity to either take it herself go for that three-point shot put it on the deck try to get to the paint and score or she had uh Aaliyah Boston in the corner for a three-point shot to me that was a good draw up for a play where Kelsey Kelsey Mitchell had lots of opportunities she had lots of options on what she wanted to do um it just turns out she decided to pass and Aaliyah Boston missed the shot so that's not a bad play call in my opinion that was a good play that was a that was a good play call it's just that it didn't work out the way they wanted it to that's all um Chelsea Gray made both of her free throws Timmy back [ __ ] bleay made a layup and uh Lexi hle has fouled Chelsea Gray so to be honest with you I'm not mad at that last play call give the ball to your best shooter which is Kelsey Mitchell it just didn't work out that's all that's all all right Chelsea Gray misses her first free throw makes her second free throw uh timeout or reset
