Cyclists, runners and walkers did not let a little rain this morning stop them from taking part in the second annual Wyoming Valley run today in our county. The 10 mile road race starts and pit and then crosses the river and go south on route through west pits in exeter Wyoming 44 and Kingston before crossing over the river again and ending in the city of Wilkes. Bery. Organizers say they are impressed with the races growth since its inception last year. Oh, yeah, we, we surpassed last year's number. We have 961 registered. Um Yeah, we, we are really thankful because we really want to keep it growing so we can give more back to the charities last year. The race raised 10,000 dollars for five local charities. Today's total is yet to be determined, but we'll go to Blue Chip Animal Farm Refuge, the cancer Wellness center of any EPA, the Greater Wyoming Valley Y MC A northeast site services and the Wyoming Valley Children's Association.
