Tori finally they locked you down how many times did the show ask you to take part in it um in the past 32 they have asked you 32 times why was 33 the right time um so from the very first season I was like you know this sounds like an amazing idea and then obviously became a huge fand I've watched it all 32 Seasons I always said no because of me I was so terrified and fearful and didn't want to disappoint everybody and I just I couldn't do it I had so much fear but this year when I got the call for the 33rd season I was like you know what wow you know I put everybody before me my whole life you know being you know working and being a wife and a mom and I really lost myself and I was like I want to do something for myself and this is one of the scariest things my biggest fear so I said yes cuz I'm trying to be a new version of me how's the rehearsals going the rehearsals are going great and I mean Tori said she's the mom but she's not just a mom she's a mom of five you know and that's no easy feet Tori no and yet she shows up she commits to it 100% And she gives me you know all of herself her heart her mind she's there she's there for the right reason she's focused amongst you know the Crazy Life that she's living right now now so for me I'm just so grateful and I'm really excited to see where this journey is going to take us we can't wait to see it either so how how are the moves coming along do you feel like it just comes naturally do you have natur no no she has a lot of natural potential I mean I know it's maybe hard to believe in yourself from the get-go but Tori does have a a lot of natural potential first of all she's really flexible yeah I am flexible yeah very flexible and definitely has well she's an actress so you know the face is there all the time stage pres you stage presents beautiful arm movement when I don't get in my head and stop believing in myself I'm like oh right believe in yourself believe in your partner you know you guys can do my arm movements I'm a huge fan of the show I've been watching it for 32 Seasons I got this look at that wrist nice nice now we've seen 902 and0 alumni from the show we've seen 902 and0 cast members compete on the show as well have you reached out to Jenny Ian Brian about their experience competing so Brian has known since I got that phone call I immediately got the phone call for the 33rd season and I called him I'm like bri cuz he's one of my best friends in real life too so I'm like what do I do and he was like you have to do this he said absolutely we can't put that here but um believe yeah and he and sha have been so amazing so I was like tell me everything and sha was like trying to think like who would be the best partner and obviously you don't know who your partner is and you show up but she totally knowing my personality and who would be right for me totally pick how know that was meant to be meant to be yeah and of course the late Shon dhy she competed in season 10 of Dancing With the Stars how do you hope to pay homage to her while competing on this show um it's definitely been really hard losing Shannon I mean it's been hard for the world losing Shannon but for me the last year I had with her was really meaningful and she was one of my biggest Champions and she told me you know it's time to turn your power on so I'm here turning my power on what do you make of Anna Delby competing I think it's a brilliant move on Dancing With the Stars part and I think it's really cool that she's open to it and she's been really cool we're all getting to know each other last few days like we're all put together and so far I'm loving everybody in the cast um they've just been really supportive and funny and we're having a good time together and that's what it's important finally we have seen you on our TV screens for so long you know and we've enjoyed growing with you we've grown up with you you know but what are you hoping Folks at home when they're watching the show what's something that might be revealed about you that we've never known or experienced what do you hope they learn about you oh my gosh I have no idea but all I know is all I can do is put myself into it and be authentically me um and hope they like my story I really want to convey my story and and do that through dancing which is something I've never done before I feel like I they've seen me convey my story in different ways throughout the years but dancing's not one of them um but I love dancing I dance at home when no one else can see so now I take the time to do it in front of millions are the kids ready to see their mama on the Dance Floor nope what did they say whatever you told her um my second oldest Stella who's 16 she was like Mom I'm just really worried you're going to get hurt she's like Mom you don't even work out what are you going to do have some faith in me kids oh my gosh in them I'm sure you I want to make them proud
