Jordan Walker a perfect day at the plate you go five for five big smile on your face I love it the first Cardinal with five hits since 2018 Jordan Walker what was working well for you today um you know I I think I just got a little better pitches to hit um I didn't swing at the ones that you know and chased a little bit so I think that's really what's the key and I hope to continue it for the upcoming games in your five at bats you saw four different pitches what does pitch recognition mean to you and to have success doing that here today yeah I mean uh it's I think it's the whole essence of hitting you know recognizing the pitch and be able to hit it so as long as I can capitalize on that I think that I can become a really successful hitter 21 hits 14 runs for the Cardinals today how much fun was this one oh it was unbelievable I loved watching Everybody hit and let's keep it going you have to have a lot of fun watching Goldie especially lately your veteran hitter has come through in a big way absolutely I mean ever since I've been out I haven't seen him not hit when I you know being up here so everything looks really good with him he's clicking and I just want to see more of it for sure when you see that lineup over there in the Yankees Dugout with judge and stto how proud are you of your starters to be able to contain guys like that unbelievable they did an amazing job you know containing judge and soda those guys are unbelievable hitters so I think they did a really good job and all around we did a good job this series all right Jordan Walker your first experience here at Yankee Stadium how was it unbelievable I mean those those fans are a little bit mean out there but other than that it was really good experience and uh wonderful place to play to take a series Victory here in the Bronx heading into Milwaukee what does this mean for the it's unbelievable let's keep rolling I love it awesome Jordan thank you congratulations thank you I appreciate it gentlemen back to you
