Huge Costco Savings for Labor Day 2024

hi everyone welcome to life in the making I wanted to come out here and do a quick video about the Costco savings for Labor Day this video is not sponsored no links are affiliate and just as I mentioned in one of my previous videos that if you're not a big family Costco might not be the place for you to save but for the rest of us who have uh families big enough to Warrant to shop at Costco Labor Day holiday one the first one is the Costco hot buys which includes I I really counted about 34 items plus the um travel bookings that are on sale now I did not go into details about the travel bookings not traveling at this moment but um for the rest of the items I am going to list just a few for you like for example um serlo steak Kleenex um those Johnny pop bars um Cheetos um what else was on sale um gain an Epsom printer a um Dyson hair dryer and many other items that you can find um on the Costco hot deals now uh that deal started yesterday 8:24 and it continues through September 1st the other deal that's happening right now which actually not at this very moment but it's going to start tomorrow 8:26 and it's going to go through 922 and that is the Proctor and gambles um products that are they're not on sale per se but there are several of them that are on sale and the other deal will be with that is you spend $100 and you get a $25 Costco card or you spend a $200 and you get a $50 Costco card you just open your Google browser and type in PNG Costco deals and then it will come up immediately you just click on that link it will take you to those deals now that deal starts tomorrow so you'll be able if you shop tomorrow you'll be able to upload your receipts as a proof of purchase to show what kind of Proctor and Gamble items that you purchased and then based on that Costco will send you a 25 or a $50 Costco card as a reimbursement if you buy $400 or $200 the other deal that's going on is usually the monthly deal which we all Costco members receive this brochure that you see this is a brochure that they send on a monthly basis and this one is starting 828 through 922 now what I do just to whis through Costco very quickly is I go through this at home and I basically Circle all the items that I need to buy and you'll see several items like on this brochure that I circled um this time around so these are the things that I'm going to go out to Costco and buy um to maximize the savings now why do I do this I walk in there and I just have this with me and I just was quickly through the items that I want to buy and in and out um definitely there is a tendency to spend more more if you're walking through the aisles and looking at the items and picking up whatever is there and whatever is new whatever you want to try so that I don't do number one we don't have time for that number two we're just there to pick up something and just be focused not spend the extra money that we don't need to spend uh although yesterday there were so many items that we needed as a family so I'm just going to go through some items that were really at a good price and others that were on sale that I picked up um from Costco I'm going to start with batteries able a AAA I always buy these batteries at Costco and I only buy them at Costco when they go on sale they're basically on sale several times a year and when they're on sale they um go for a $3 off so that's when I pick up these batteries the other item that was on sale yesterday which I really needed was a pair of ranning shoes and these were a few off also I think they were $34 originally and then they were on sale for $27 so a few dollars off now I did not buy these just because they were on sale my running shoes were off so I needed another pair of running shoes and because Adidas shoes are really comfortable now these might not be the trendiest shoes but the running shoes they do the job and they are really comfortable the other cute item that I picked up from H Costco was these Adidas shoes for kids I picked up two pairs for my daughter school is here kids go through these shoes a lot and the price was very reasonable so I picked up two pairs uh for her for the school year and this should be enough for the entire school year one other item that I wanted to try from Costco that I've never tried before you know if you buy workout leggings from Lululemon they're about $100 so I just picked up these from Costco they have this uh high-waist band and it actually also has an elastic uh drawring so I think that's a plus and it has two pockets on the side which we all love it looks like a very nice stretchy material so I think these will be very nice and comfortable for workout and I'll just give them a try I never tried them before so yeah the other thing that I've never tried from Costco are bed sheets so I picked up this queen set for my son's bedroom um it's 100% Egyptian cotton and it says that it is Ultra Soft Satine and wrinkle resistance with uh fitlx technology I wonder what the fitlx technology is we got to try this and see how it feels and how it fits and how it washes too that's important to me too I don't know about you but I only use um cotton sheets for um my entire family for our bed I tried the silk sheets they're really very expensive and they're so slippery so I'm not keen on sleeping on on silk they slip and slide and and yeah it's it's very uncomfortable for me so I just like to sleep with um cotton sheets some people mentioned bamboo are very nice and comfortable I've never tried those maybe in the near future but I want to see how the Costco C performs first then we'll move on to the bamboo the other thing that was of a great value were these 73% cotton uh colan men's socks and they were six pairs for $10 so less than $2 a pair which is you know uh unheard of these days any pair is minimum $3 and up so yeah I um I don't know about you but for me and my family we only wear majority cotton socks um so I picked up a couple of these these These are going to last my husband for a very long time the other item that I liked a lot it was great for the value was this Sherpa on the outside and fleece on the inside uh woman's vest now this was $12.99 I think this is a great for Value if you live in a cold climate like we do here I wear these uh when it's very cold winter I wear these under my coat and they keep me so warm especially if you're walking outside in the mornings um this is really perfect to wear under your coat and they keep me very warm so I loved this was like so great for the value and it feels so good with the SHA on the outside and the fleece on the inside so yeah one more thing that I had very good experience with are these head gloves for women uh I think they have them also for men and for kids and I picked up a pair for myself these are very good they're the inside is uh faux fur and the outside they're waterproof and they're also um touch enabled so yeah these are perfect for shoveling the snow and um because I had very good experience with similar had gloves in the past I just picked up another pair for this year they also had these beautiful Champion hoodies for kids so I picked up this one uh for my son my kids love this Champion brand and they enjoy wearing it so I picked up this it was very reasonable price I also picked up some bulbs from Costco last year I had a very good experience with planting the daffodils and the aliens and they all bloomed and so I picked up some more this year um they were $4.99 for a bag of bulbs that has 50 bulbs in it I think that's a great price and I picked up three bags of those look I got a lot more stuff from Costco Costco is my go-to for a lot of stuff and it's just a few minutes from my home and um you know I can whiz through in and out for the stuff that I need and the their prices are very reasonable and so the intention of this video is to to bring your attention to all the savings that you can get during
