Christian about gambling etiquette in the in the break there you're not a blackjack guy i' I've played on a cruise one time I think it's the only time I've ever like sat at a real table I've played with friends and stuff my dad taught me how to play when I was little but I've never really played at a table to the point where I recognized there was a certain etiquette that I was probably doing wrong on my cruise so that's the thing if you don't know the etiquette you need to watch for a minute and figure it out or tell the whole table that you're a huge Bozo yeah but don't sit down and pretend that you know what you're doing and then end up breaking the etiquette wear a big neon sign that says hey guys I'm a bozo Bo Bozo like don't expect normal stuff I'm make mistakes from me and it's going to hurt everybody at the table I'm a huge Boo or do this ask for advice correct because you're playing against the dealer you can ask the other players at the table what the proper play would be ask them like who hears counting cards and can you tell me if we're plus or minus the answer to that is no one when I cross my arms Behind the Chair like this is that good that means hit or that mean doesn't hit I see you guys have another guy standing behind the dealer so you can see his card can he tell me what the card is as well see what you're doing now is a good way to get beat up at the table by security like I had a friend while we were in Vegas on a bachelor party tried to fight a Pit Boss and it was like like you know what that's how that's how you really get severely injured yeah there are certain things that are that's no one's ever won there you can't beat you're not going to win the Vegas thugs no right no the AR the army of security that will descend upon you in a matter of seconds and it's more than you think and then the cops are on the right are on the casino side as well and they're going to beat you up and then probably kick you out the the door on the bad side of Vegas you know what I mean yeah right yeah anyways all right well I'm glad we had that but thank you for letting me know so I don't embarrass myself okay so we were talking about whether or not you should uh the you know players respond to being coddled or players respond to you know butt kicking and that sort of thing and we were talking about Tua who said uh Brian Flores just told him what a loser he was all the time and Mike McDaniel just loves him up and says oh you're the perfect player for what I want to do blah blah blah and uh we were talking about getting that balance and apparently there was another example of quarterback codling Christian the our resident Dons fan do you want to set this up so Zack Wilson obviously he's been on the Broncos roster since the spring I personally don't think that he's been playing very flashy I guess he hasn't been great by any means but Shawn pyton sat down with Chase Daniel yesterday and like really really talked him up and it kind of caught me off guard this freaking Zach Wilson now the last week and a half it's great I grabbed him and I said look I just want you to focus on having fun and playing my job is to make you Millions either with us or for another team his last two weeks have been outstanding loving him up this freaking Zach Wilson loving him up uh that was a nice way I think of him to say we're cutting Zach because he said with us or another team you never mentioned your play he's not talking about B Knicks playing with another team uh djpk had a guy on this morning that uh that said he thought that Zach was going to make the team that would be interesting um if they keep three quarterbacks there's real advantage to only having two see that's funny that's where that's funny that's where your mind went with the whole cutting thing I my mind went to when he said us or another team my mind went right to Teddy Bridgewater okay because that's been Shawn Payton's kind of thing is he'll bring in damaged goods give him an opportunity some great coaching and then Teddy signed that huge deal with Carolina right I mean he did the same thing with he did the same thing with jamus Winston even though jamus stayed with the Saints so that's kind of his thing is is get these damage good quarterbacks and love them up coach them up and then uh maybe they'll go somewhere else maybe they'll play for the Dons maybe they'll play somewhere else but uh that's the encouraging part about that clip I think if you if you're rooting for Zach Wilson to succeed which despite him being on the Broncos I I honestly am is that that's the approach it that would that implied that that's the approach that Zach Wilson is taking and that's what he was saying is he didn't come in with a big ego or a primadonna or anything like that came in humbled and working and Hoping to either make millions of dollars here or somewhere else but maybe he was talking about yeah I'm about ready to cut this guy and somebody else should pick him up it's I get the opinion and if if if you know the expert this morning on DJ and PK said the opposite they're closer to this Camp obviously than I'm at any close I have no closeness to this at all but there's a real strategy of when you want to have three quarterbacks and not have three quarterbacks on your roster when you only have 53 guys you can carry you're way better off only having two quarterbacks but one of those quarterbacks is a rookie and the other is Jared stum right that that's probably a pretty good recipe to keep the third is Zack Wilson with all due respect to Zach what do you need Zach Wilson isn't Beyond replacement level right you can always sign whoever out of retirement if you want to to come in and be as good as Zach Wilson that you don't Zack is not such a priority that you have to hold on to him agreed which is a great spot if you're the the franchise cuz if the guy works out then wow that's great if he doesn't then who cares it's almost like Lowry Markin him becoming an All-Star but then you have to worry like does Zach clear waivers once you wave him or does somebody pick him up because if he clears waivers you sign him to your practice squad and then inevitably where STM gets hurt or bonx gets hurt then you can sign Zach and he comes up and he's familiar with your system I would call if you if you have to cut one I'd cut stum I don't think there's been a day on this planet that Jared stum has been a better back than Zack Wilson I think a lot of people would say he is right now and he's probably been better through preseason and he was better in their last game and he's know he knows the system right he's been there that's probably the yeah he's been there is not he's better okay I would listen to that in fact he's been there is like the worst reason to pick a quarterback honestly yes right yeah if you're picking a guy who's been there over talent that's a huge mistake for a coach speaking of Wilson Utah picked Zack Wilson and not Brandon Rose because the only reason to pick Brandon Rose the only good argument for that was he's been there well he's been there yeah that's what you hear Andy lwig say every time he talked about him well he's been here yeah that's not a great argument necessarily now it could give them an advantage in the race but you need to pick the best quarterback but maybe Shawn pyton loves him some Jared did him I I couldn't imagine why but maybe that's a thing I hope Zach makes the roster I hope so too I'm I'm openly rooting for Zach I I whether it's as as sea Payton said whether that's in Denver or elsewhere making money I hope he gets a career resurrection that he did not get in New York no I hope he gets to sit the bench under pton I actually think that's the ideal spot for him in the future of his career for the reasons that pton said like come here and you learn and you check your ego at the door and you play the role that we want you to play you think Teddy Bridgewater who really was on his way to being a successful starting quarterback in the NFL until that gruesome injury do you think Teddy really wanted to take a back seat think he really wanted to sign with the Saints with Drew Brees where he knew there wasn't a chance he was ever going to play probably not no but he came in he checked his ego at the door and he got to be a better quarterback now I he never returned to that potential that he had in Min in Minnesota but it really worked out for him I do think one of the issues for Zach is that and look sdm's not young sdm's his late 20s he's not exactly the fresh face kid but you have your Young quarterback on the roster like Bo Nick is the young guy and I know he's even a little bit older than some quarterbacks Zach has not the plan longterm for the broadc no and Zack not a longterm thing that's not it Teddy Bridgewater wasn't a long-term thing for the Saints Zach's not a he's not a long-term thing for the Broncos but I Teddy because he had proven what he had proven before the Saints is a guy you're confident could come in and make some money James Winston was a starter was a longtime starter with the Buccaneers before he even made it over right before he was with the Saints that's not been Zach's career and and James Winston was successful he was a little loose he was a little wild uh with the throws he would make or attempt but he could play and you knew he could play kind of I still wonder if we if anyone has total faith that Zach I love it that jamus Winston was truly uh a real life example of uh Ricky vaugh from Major League MH he couldn't see his hand in front of his face you remember that story where Shawn Peyton got him said well this guy can't see yeah so we got him some glasses you need corle corrective lenses and he got much better how funny is that I need to go see the eye doctor I was telling you this the other day I'm having a tough time reading the side of the old medicine bottle you know what I mean like the proper dose of Children's Tylenol for my kids I have to take a picture of it with my phone and zoom in Teddy could or uh uh jamus couldn't see anyway uh but I bet if Zach Wilson stays on the roster does his thing backs up bow Knicks or whatever you know quarterback injuries happen all the time which is why Teddy Bridgewater got an extra shot another shot in New Orleans and you can play your way into a a big contract if you play well Baker Mayfield was on the on the Heap he signed with the uh the Rams MH what three4 the way through the year yeah now he took the Bucks to the playoffs last year yeah and I I personally here's another thing I was wrong about I thought he was done yeah for sure I thought Baker was out so never know no you certainly don't with NFL quarterbacks I mean Gino Smith like would have sworn had been out of the league for 10 years and he came back and was starting with the jet with the Seahawks and did take them to the playoffs I'm honestly surprised nobody's traded for Tyler Huntley well he's with the Colts now right and he was no Bengals Browns brown Browns the Ohio and he was uh he was quite awful in his last because the Browns played against the Vikings right but he's proven he you saw Jaren Hall played well he's One games for the Ravens yeah and he'll probably make that roster so we'll see what happens with Zach but uh the guy on who came on with DJ and PK this morning um thought that all the local players would make the roster that V and Zach were on the were the closest to the bubble but thought that all of them would I mean and look practice squad's not exactly a terrible spot to be still getting paid to play football if that's where you end up yeah and the odds of you being called up because of injury or high especially at a quarterback yeah so you're G to get a chance Brett radliff hang hung on forever as a practice squad quarterback with the Jets because what's his name uh man Genie loved him does how much does Zach Wilson's NFL career impact the perspective of him because admittedly it's just been so weird for Zack because his breakout was during Co and it was that weird season and people were very excited about him he went to the worst location possible in the draft never played well with the Jets got cast out got run down on Hard Knocks which did not help do you think USC fans dislike Matt ler not Matt ler CU he's so unique do you think think he somehow is less beloved in that fan base because he failed at the NFL level he's different CU he won a Heisman right then like darnold who's been a bust and has had a somewhat comparable NFL career like I don't think darnold is beloved at USC I could be totally wrong maybe he is but lard was a pro was a part of the Glory Days so maybe it's almost hard to talk about it one but that's what I'm saying I I don't think Zach's um reputation at BYU changes either way I don't think jimers did Jimmer didn't have the greatest NBA career and I don't think it impacts how BYU fans look at him at all I don't think it should this is interesting with the Ring of Honor conversation that's going on at the University of Utah and certain elements you have to hit to get there whereas yeah did Andre Miller's NBA career changed the way Utah fans viewed him no I don't think it hurt oh it doesn't doesn't hurt but it doesn't matter yeah I guess it probably doesn't change the fact that he took them to the championship game and was the best player on that roster in fact if I was what did we call it the Hall of busts and that uh bust being a bronze Recreation of your shoulders no they a guy uh what it was a Blair buswell yeah best best buswell yeah yeah so the Hall of bus or whatever I think that uh NFL D draft like where you got picked is relevant because in a weird way it's an evaluation of your college productivity right yeah so I think that actually is somewhat relevant to the conversation but I don't think that NFL career would be relevant okay I'd listen to that um like um well if Ziggy anaw had gone on to have a great NFL career which he did not he was fine but didn't have this long-term NFL career I still don't know if BYU fans are certainly more endeared to him because in all honesty he didn't have a crazy career by no that would make them more mad at Bronco like I think that youth fans should be mad at Larry krisak for not figuring out c not figuring out cous yeah like that Ziggy Falls more into that category I'd say but BYU fans don't love Robbie BOS any less because he didn't have Steve Young's NFL career Ty Demmer had a good not great NFL career or not even good I don't know what do you want to say you think Steve beloved at BYU because he was a two-time Super Bowl winner no I think Steve was beloved at BYU long before he even got off the bench for the 49ers I will admit that's just a little outside of my Realm Of Consciousness when Steve was at BYU in all honesty other than I always knew throughout his NFL career he was a BYU guy I didn't have an ability to place his Legend at that point I mean I I was very young when Steve Young played at BYU so I'm with you it's that's not you know I don't have vivid memories of him wearing the royal blue and slinging it around however I grew up with many BYU fans yeah and even young kids who never saw Steve Young play could not shut up about Steve Young and that was before he replaced Joe he yeah he even replaced Joe okay and I I buy that I I believe and he only won one Super Bowl One okay yeah they beat the Chargers smoked the Chargers and the Chargers had a local guy too Alfred ponu who went to Weber State the reason I know that well first of all he was a Weber State Legend but his nephew was in my class at uh Churchill at the time shout out to Matt but I was pulled for Alfred papuna for that reason fact I was cheering for the Chargers in the Super Bowl for that reason and they got smoked Steve won three he was Super Bowl MVP of one yeah he played in one he was on the roster for two more but he won what was it 90 [Music] four 95 I should know that anyways but yeah Steve absolutely beloved I think the fact that Jim McMahon won a Super Bowl with a bears does not impact his legacy with the BYU in the slightest I mean the miracle bowl is what everybody's going to love about Jim McMahon but he was very good at handling the ball to Walter Peyton there's a reasonable chance you can tell me this is too hot of a take that Isaac Wilson's career at Utah does more to affect Zach Wilson standing at BYU than his NFL career no don't agree I think there could be how well first of all if Zach ends up at Utah games wearing red for the next four years I watched his little brother I watched R Mah do that and it didn't impact him in his BYU thing in the slightest everybody understands the brother thing and you keep wanting to link Isaac and Zach and I don't understand them being Brothers I don't understand why one imp PS the other in the in the slightest this is not the first family separation between BYU and Utah we've seen the cusis have legacies at both long there is the difference though of Zach wanting to play at Utah and not getting the offer and not getting the opportunity and being a Utah family and going to the Utah Camp who fault is that not Utah absolutely not Zach's no it's not Z not Zach's at all no but even then I mean we were talking about Kyle Whittingham being the best UD of all time and you were talking about how he's actually a BYU guy yeah it's it's related of course it matters it does matter I think one brother should be able to make the Legacy like Michael Vic's the one who went to prison but let me tell you Marcus Vic was the one that probably let me put it this way he blew the biggest opportunity like he really flushed it right down the TA the toilet before it even got off the off the mat right I don't view Michael any differently because Marcus was a boo I agree I agree with you the difference I guess I would argue is that the Wilsons would have identified themselves as a Utah family with the acception of a blip of Zach Wilson playing at BYU which is not how I view it I view them as a BYU family because my understanding of Zack Wilson only began when he started at BYU so I just assumed I painted them blue and understand I mean I mean that very respectfully when truthfully maybe they were a red family their whole life and Isaac Wilson comes back and writes the ship with this family name of being in red and you see Lisa and you see Dad and you see everybody in red and they say yeah this is where we were supposed to be and it changes the perspective of the entire family the same way Zach changed the perspective of a family to being blue see I don't care about any of that you don't have to because you're a radio and you're not to you it's not it's not relevant to anything it is relevant toah because Lisa throws on a you hoodie that that somehow has Chang ridiculous have you met Utah football fans have you met BYU football fans then why didn't Utah turn him down why didn't Utah why didn't why did Utah get a quarterback wrong no why no no no no no why didn't Utah turn Isaac down because they're writing the mistakes of their past by not offering or did they recruit a good quarterback like none of that matters oh I think they did both I think Isaac is both deserving of being there if they only recruited Isaac because of his brother or his name or writing some wrong or whatever that's dumb and if that's your decision making then that is foolish and I feel very comfortable in saying that well they were foolish to not recruit Zack and they recognize that Virginia a huge mistake was really foolish to recruit Marcus because of his brother that was a mistake Marcus turned out to be a huge pain in the butt and a bozo that was a huge mistake I bet you whoever I don't even remember who the quarterback coach was at the time but I whoever the quarterback coach for Tech was was probably like man we really should not have have recruited a brother based on his last name I think if you're recruiting like to race some ill I'm not saying it doesn't happen of I'm saying I'm saying that that's a dumb way do you remember to recruit a very important position you remember Blake keithy do you remember Blake keithy nobody does guess what he was the better recruit brand rode Blake's coattails to Utah now they offered brand they liked brand but Blake was the better recruit that they were excited and where was he coming into play defensive end defensive end matters at Utah what previously has never mattered at Utah tight end was not a position that they advertised it was not a sexy position it was not one that they' had success at John Madson who played tight end in the NFL was a receiver at Utah tight end were not a great position at Utah Jake Murphy was pretty good but I get your point Jake was good they bring in brand not accidentally but also because they liked Blake at a sexy position at Utah and Brand's a better player it happens they make mistakes yeah I think I think the importance of the position changes it a little bit like if there were only six players on the Milwaukee Bucks the Bucks aren't signing giannis's brother correct you're right there's only three four quarterbacks on a college roster I mean I realize you could probably get a little deeper than that with Walk-Ons and that sort of thing and that position is critical for so many reasons that would be a waste of time to explain in this particular conversation if you're wasting one of those out free scholarship because you're writing some wrong in the past that's silly if you sign the stard dn's brother who's a tight end yeah carry a 100 tight ends who cares you can carry a 100 DNS who cares it doesn't matter it's not was brand I should say not Blake Brandt was listed as a tight end why because he was 6'5 and 240 pounds and ran a sub five4 okay you're a tight end whatever I don't know what you are and we can work you out and maybe the genetics turns out to really be a thing and you got a lot of talent or whatever if we have to cut you next year it doesn't really matter yeah I mean to the point where with all due respect who is it Freddy now is the tight end Coach at Utah who's the tight end Coach like that has been a job that you give your brother right to have a job on staff to recruit or do whatever really R now he's actually that's a hilarious conversation that both brand and Freddy have turned into A+ players and coaches at that position which otherwise has historically been known as like a yeah there's room well the best thing that happened to Whit was um uh well Fred wit I shouldn't say not Kyle Whit yeah Fred Whittingham I guess does anybody even call Fred wit I don't know why he did that but the best thing that happened to him was Andy lwig coming back because Andy's always loved the tight end when he was here the first time they made him run the spread because that was you know was called the Utah spread at the time I mean it was where the all the success had come from under Urban Meyer and they made him him do that but where he came from as a coach was when he was with Fresno State and was with who's the younger car or older car David David Derek is the younger one y he was running a Pure Pro style offense he likes the tight end that really played into Freddy whittingham's uh benefit with him coming back and really putting a emphasis on that but anyway if if you recruit a guy because you're mad you didn't recruit brother and you make him the second string I hope that's not true I'm not saying that's why Wilson is the number two hope that that's not true I think that one has nothing to do with the other I would hope so like does Brandon Dart have a brother that uh or uh Jackson Dart Jackson's Dart Brandon's the dad maybe little Brandon Brandon Jr yeah I mean are you gonna recruit him cuz Jackson Dart went somewhere else did you whiffed on Jackson it's like the exact same situation by the way as Zack Wilson yet nobody ever talks about it and Jackson's great he's great he's great yeah what does oh miss top 10 and he's expected to be one of the quarterbacks yeah he's one of the quarterbacks that's going to be talked about next year in college football but they picked what was the guy's name Peter costelli so yeah Brandon Jr is gonna get a scholarship because they whiffed on him if he can play they certainly won't miss that recuit apparently they will over corre correct I believe so if and this is hypothetical yes they will overcorrect we'll see if they've done it with Isaac maybe Isaac can really play all right stay tuned more next Jake and Ben a Chicago Legend as a jazz fans remember so Kerr he's a San Antonio Legend saw on on Twitter he was out there talking yeah Steve played a lot of places right he's a Golden State Warriors Legend B's coming off a gold medal talk about teamwork they're leaning into the whole coach thing so yeah oh okay that makes more sense they are leaning into the more the coach thing because what's his name was like a Wy was like a assistant defensive coordinator at some like Minnesota high school yeah Tommy tville um so yeah well okay no reason to watch NFL preseason anymore I guess I I am gonna love it when the Bears win four games oh let's go through their schedule game by game no no no I don't think no I don't think that is necessary in the slightest who's going to have more more wins this upcoming year BYU or the bears bears nine it's hard to it's hard to well I mean look BYU doesn't even play 17 games so how could they get to 17 and0 that's not the question I asked well bears are getting to 17 and0 I didn't ask who was having a more win oh I see gonna win them all going to win more than 12 anyway move over schula whatever the bozo head coach of the Chicago Bears is coming for your title wait you should know you've been dialed into this show I've dialed into Caleb well you always happen crew Caleb you always happen Bears head coach oh Eber flu oh yeah he's the guy who used to be uh all clean cut and now he's trying to look rugged like a midwesterner he was one of those analytics dorks and now he's like trying to grow a beard and look cool all due respect to the analytics STS out there you know how I know he can't coach a lick because the bears hired him Bears thought he was the right guy for the job the Bears were like this is our guy they've been doing that every other year since Mike dicka I guess lovey had a good run for a minute right yeah uh but no I don't know if the Bears will get to six wins and I think BYU will maybe that's me giving them more of the benefit of the doubt I am for their sake concerned about their two difficult non-conference Road games I think they got to win those to really cement the six but I'll tell you we're talking about quarterbacks and reasons to pick bannan or redl or whatever BYU's got to pick the one that's going to win them the most games because there is that pressure down there that hasn't been there for a minute where I do think is that the bar kind of most consensus the bar with colani this year is you got to make a bowl is that the thing I've been I don't will he get fired if they win five no I don't think so if they win three yes because that means basically you nearly went winless in conference you know you beat Arizona State and you beat Baylor at Baylor but if you only win three or four wins then maybe you have that conversation um it it's crazy to me we're having that conversation about BYU why they're no different there's a high standard at BYU you got to meet it no that's the thing that that we're talking about a standard of six wins being enough that's crazy to me it's not what BYU has it's not what BYU did Independence for for a decade it's not what BYU has been and I'm not hanging this on Kanani I'm not hanging this on the coordinators I'm not hanging this on A-Rod I'm not hanging this on Drew Hill I'm not no like I I think every coaching St J Hill excuse me yeah Drew Hill J Drew uh J Drew makes more sense J Hill all I think that any coaching staff deserves latitude to build what they want and I think that we get lost in that takes time so much but then again there are other examples like with Craig Smith where we're just patient forever so you know maybe it's different situations but I think I think colani has gotten latitude to build build a program going into a new league which is a thing and don't pretend that the standard wasn't the exact same at Utah that it is at BYU because I am old enough to remember the uh bull eligible on three absolutely bull eligible yeah it was working I remember it so the standard for Utah was that low as well for Kyle Whittingham he almost got fired because he had two seasons that were not bull Seasons but where you go in the Mountain West or jumped in the Pack 12 from the Mountain West so where is he going if if they didn't have that moment in I guess what would be the fourth season in the Pack 12 where they had two words two words B eligible Kyle would have been out on his ear he would have so are we at that point with colani where okay you've got to get two words two words Bowl eligible or you're out on your ear no which is why I said I think even if they W as long as he doesn't win only three games because if you only win three something's gone seriously wrong you're regressing you can't regress so I guess technically I would say the bar is probably five if you got below five I mean you're talking about four and eight that's disastrous see you actually can regress but it's when do you regress like if well they went from eight and five to five and seven well what happened well you made a Bull game Independence like technically you regressed your record got worse no well what I mean is um when I I'll I'll tell this story after uh 2004 Utah's That season Alex Smith Goes to the pros so does everybody else the media in the Mountain West Conference the next year picked Utah number one and I was like well that's crazy they just lost their whole team including their coach there's not a chance they're going to win the league um and like who was good at the time like TC was coming into the league they weren't in the league in 04 but anyway point being like Utah was going to regress if you have a historic season with a great great players great quarterback or whatever and you go young that's the thing absolutely that that's fair but when you're coming off a a season where you win four or five people expect more people expect the building and sometimes we get a little weird about how quickly we expect it to happen one way or another but we expect it to be a step in the right direction for BYU because last year was not a great year and so that's where that bar comes from you can regress you can't but you can't regress from six wins to four you can't regress from four wins to two you can regress from 11 to n yes or 11 to unless you're Frank solich yeah you can go to 11 to six as long as it's been the natural rhythm of how college football Works which is yeah you have your senior quarterback you compete for the league you win 10 games and then your senior quarterback goes to the NFL or graduates or whatever and you start over that's fine that's not where BYU where by is in the process because it's not the quarterback they had last year and it's not just quarterback I mean it's the rest of the team no but that's what we attributed to and that's the easy Shand do you have a senior quarterback you're good do you have a new quarterback you're bad BYU is in this area where they're not figuring out who their Young quarterback is they don't know who that next guy is and that just makes you feel like you're spinning your wheels well they haven't had a Young quarterback really play because they recruited slovis last year right and if you want to say red SLA was younger that's fine but he is not well they didn't they didn't pick him they played him because of injury right so you're spinning your wheels I guess in this sense and that's why I've called this season the turn toit season for BYU which I think is a little bit crazy but look that does happen Utah did have a tour season where they had to figure out how to stop the bleeding I think if BYU won eight games last year I think that colani picks rettl yeah agreed because then he wouldn't have to win six to stay off the hot seat he's got to play he doesn't he doesn't have the luxury of thinking like okay well this young guy's going to lose a couple games but we're going to really build to something he doesn't have that he's got to pick who's going to win now yeah because yes you it doesn't matter who you play McKay hillstead would come out and would beat Southern Illinois you have to have the right guy to beat SMU so earlier today I probably misspoke I I got ahead of myself when I said you know you've got two or three week you're better off starting the wrong guy for two weeks and finding the right starter for third while I agree with that in a lot of cases you lose to SMU and all of a sudden six wins gets into doubt you lose to SMU and Wyoming six wins is really a dep so BYU does have a little more urgency to figure fig this out going into the season than some teams you got to have the right guy to dodge those urine balloons up there in larmy you know that's probably that people talked about they could be again they could be Florida State look Florida state made the playoff right or at least was undefeated and then their quarterback got hurt and they said no you don't belong well and and you know what in all honesty and I know you don't like Dabo but we were talking about being patient with coaches and re rebuilding and things like that like what Dabba was doing was not the norm where you're just awesome every year what Nick Sabin did at uh Alabama is not that's not the norm you shouldn't be the favorite to win the title in college football every single year I mean you should give Ohio State a lot of credit even though that I don't particularly like Ryan day yeah like the standard is so high there cuz they win every single year that you better make the playoffs or he's going to get canned yeah USC is far more realistic of what you should be which is hype and no Deliverance you should be a joke you should fall short of expectation consistently even when you have all this hype because it's hard to get there every year it is hard to get there every year the the USC their biggest offense is how crappy they've been for so long right and they're
