5 Bold 2024 SEC Predictions! - Arkansas beats Texas? Nico for Heisman?

College Football bold predictions let's go we do it every year our boldest STC predictions starting off here with aransa will either beat LSU or Arkansas Texas now me being an LSU graduate and an LSG YouTuber I am going to say Arkansas is going to be Texas H but the LSU spot does set up really nicely for them we'll talk about Arkansas's overall season as well and by the way live streams every Monday on the hogs at 5:00 p.m. central we got some absolutely awesome guests coming up on the channel obviously that's a win versus uapb and UAB going to Oklahoma state is a game that they will probably lose I would say the same about Auburn as they'll have a mop-up game versus New Mexico the week before and Arkansas has to go to Dallas to play Texas A&M and as you can see from their schedule lots of Road trips only one true home game on their schedule and then they welcome Tennessee to dwr and Tennessee will have a bye-week before they play that game now the reason why I like this spot for Arkansas versus LSU is well of the Rivalry right this game means a lot more for Arkansas than it does LSU Arkansas will be a lot more desperate than LSU at this point of the Season LSU has a huge game versus all Miss week before and a look ahead backto back road game versus Texas A&M you guys know how I am about backtack Road games you can win one it's really hard historically to win two so Arkansas versus LSU very much could be the win and that same logic can be applied here when it comes to Texas okay the week before the long corns have to play a hungry Florida Gator team now they do get that in Austin but this game means a lot more to Sam Pitman and Arkansas than it does Texas for Texas and LSU if you were to ask most fans they don't even View Arkansas as a top five game on their own schedules and for Arkansas this is the biggest games of the year especially for the old heads right a lot of you remember the swc days I also think this Arkansas at Missouri game is a little tricky so I'm going to stay away from the over under but Arkansas will have very long odds versus LSU and Texas and I think they find a way to get it done let's go Florida 4 and A2 it feels a little suery to take Florida such a low number on a historically great program but as many of you know and have heard this is the hardest schedule in the SEC the hardest schedule in college football and I will go one step further this is the hardest schedule I have ever seen in college football football history only one guaranteed win on the schedule versus Samford pretty much every SEC team has at least three guaranteed wins you have a very difficult game starting off versus Miami and then you have another game versus Texas A&M it is good that all three of their first games are at home but obviously it can get very tough I think Mississippi state is a very interesting team going into the Jeff lebby era you do get a byee before you play KJ Jefferson and UCF but KJ beat you last year in Gainesville then of course at Tennessee I think that is a loss for them and then they also welcome a hungry Kentucky Wildcats team by week and then we get to the hardest and I mean hardest five game stretch you'll ever see Georgia Texas both of those games away from Gainesville then you welcome LSU Old Miss will be coming after a buy but part of the reason why I'm going over 4 and A2 as well I do have the extra information that Florida State might not be all that good this year and on top of that I can see Florida beating UCF I feel pretty comfortable about that one coming off a bu it'll also beat Samford that puts him at three and then a lot of these other difficult games teams versus pretty good teams are a little bit more toss upy so I'll go over now before this next play I want to make a confession I have always disliked the Florida Gators right it's the most visceral game for me on LSU schedule every year but I'm actually rooting for Florida this year in a way and pushing Missouri back against the Missouri Tigers now I have always liked deia drinkwitz but why am I doing that well I want to celebrate teams that schedule hard and Florida scheduled the Harry hard where Missouri scheduled unfreaking believably cotton soft and guess what they were also given an all-time easy SEC schedule okay and I'll go through a few facts about the schedule by far the easiest first month of the season I might have ever seen in SEC history they're putting the Kentucky Wildcats to shame with how soft this is and if you want to learn about Kentucky schedule I did a deep dive on how they used to fool everyone thinking that they would play an SEC schedule that video is floating in the top right corner of your screen so they get that ridiculously soft SEC schedule and then on top of that they were lucky enough to draw Vanderbilt that is just unfreaking believably softed okay but I am pushing back even though this Missouri schedule is so great for them by the way on top of having this really really easy schedule compared to everyone else in the SEC remember this is the year of the double buy and Missouri is the only team that gets to play four games by four games by and four games so they are the only team that has equal amount of rest between their games if that makes sense either way I'm a little bit higher than most on Texas A&M so I think that's a loss even though they'll be coming off a buy and Texas A&M will be on the back end of playing six consecutive games UMass that's soft they'll get Auburn at home for homecoming that should also be a win but I could see Auburn winning that one as well on the road versus Alabama man I'm a little bit on an Alabama fade and by the way Alabama will be playing five games at the end of five and of course Missouri and this spot will be playing four games at the end of four but still I do like Alabama winning that game I also like Oklahoma coming off uh the buy here for Missouri but once again Oklahoma there will be playing five games at the end of five they will get main before they play that game but still I think Missouri will drop one of these two between South Carolina and Mississippi State but it's so hard for me to go against them here and I'm talking myself out of the under and by the way I am on record you could go look at our first two SEC preview pieces just like the video we're doing here Elia DRL has made me money I have bet over on their win total two years in a row and it was my lock of the year in year one so I really really do like Eliah drinkwitz as you can see this is of my schedule rankings I do this every year I power rank every team schedule this got the easiest schedule by a pretty wide margin and LSU was uh the team before for them when it comes to schedule strength but I I just don't like the loss of Blake Baker I really don't I don't like the loss of four really good defensive players and I do think we have overvalued just a little bit Brady cook despite him being very experienced so I am going to go against Missouri here and pick the under I don't feel great about it at all I'm going to Alabama Alabama under 9 and a half this year another one that I don't feel 222 comfortable about because I do like kayn Deo I think this was a good hire for them I am not sure how Jaylen milro though fits in the Alabama offense and I know they're going to build it to cater to his strengths but we did a deep dive a few weeks ago floating in the top right corner of your screen why I'm am very skeptical of Jaylen milro getting this offense to its ceiling I'm also a little skeptical of this wide receiver room maybe Jeremy Bernard is the answer there but you know I I'm fading it just a little bit they do get a byee before they play Georgia but I do think that's a loss I think at Tennessee will also be a loss but this game will be a high scoring Affair uh I'm also a little bit higher than Tennessee than most I do think they will beat Missouri but like we just mentioned Alabama this will be the fifth game in five with two top 25 teams in that run with a difficult Row game prior so that Missouri game can get very tricky you do get a by week before you go to Tiger Stadium and play LSU tough spot there I am leaning LSU there LSU will be slight favorites and that might change as we get closer to time you have to go to Oklahoma that's going to be pretty difficult Oklahoma gets a by week before you get there so one interesting fact about Alabama when you study their schedule they have four teams that would be coming off by weeks now Georgia and LSU they don't have equal rest because Alabama themselves also will have by weeks before they play them but man that is a tough tough tough draw and we know Hugh freees is the ultimate Alabama killer as well he's beaten him twice before and probably shouldn't have beaten him uh for a third time last year so I am going under but overall this roster is still loaded so one quick change the Florida number did change so we'll get to that in a second I'll replace Florida with Texas and the Vegas SEC Win Totals under I also like Georgia and the over I do think they'll go 11 11 and one and make the college football playoff we get to Old Miss I'm leaning over not on fire about it and for LSU uh I have them about 9 and three 10 and two so I'll stay away from there Alabama as we've said under Tennessee I liked it better at 8 and A2 don't love it at 9 and a half so I will stay away knowing defensively there are some question marks we then get to Missouri as I've already said under even though Eli dck Woods has made me money Tex saym I'm actually leaning the over these two teams play each other and that very well could decide either one of these we get to Auburn am leaning a little towards the under but I do think they can win that final game versus Alabama Oklahoma I'm staying away Kentucky leaning under here don't know what I'm going to get out of Brock Vandergriff same thing could be said about Lenoris uh sellers at South Carolina so I'm going to stay away from that one as well we get to Arkansas that's another stay away but if I feel they're going to beat LSU or Arkansas or excuse me LSU or or or Texas I could see the over hitting there Texas or Florida excuse me I don't feel as comfortable about my overp pick but I'll stick with it Mississippi State I'm actually leaning slightly towards the over and the same can be said about Vanderbilt I love the over there so now let's get to my favorite play of the year and this is a no-brainer for me more so Nico than Connor wigman but I have no idea why Nico's passing total is so small at 2,550 12 yards this is an easy smash over wherever you could play it Nico is not much of a runner right I can even say Conor wigman could be a slightly better Runner than Nico Tennessee secondary has a lot of question marks I think Nico's going to have to throw Tennessee into a lot of wins this year so this is an easy easy over for me same could be said by Conor wigman at 2550 but their defense is better so I don't know if they're going to be in as many shootout kind of games I also don't know if they're going to be as vertically um I guess you could say ambitious as the tennessy offense will be next year now I also like putting a few nickels and dimes on their Heisman odds obviously it's a little bit more distant for Conor wigman so I might like that play a little bit better I've also done film studies on Conor wigman on Power Hour NFL my NFL channel on how he could be the number one overall pick in next year's NFL Draft so if that's the case and we also know that the Heisman winners over the past couple of Seasons uh have also uh been really high draft picks then that would make you even more so probably want to bet Conor wigman to win the Heisman next year because I do think there is a world where he is a top five draft pick next season so I'm fine with betting either for Heisman Now give me
