but they they're looking at uh the Striker from Celtic now apparently that Wednesday and Oxford are are looking at him now here's the thing we were in for Tom Cannon a year ago uh when he went to leer uh and it back then it was OD looking at him it was Prest and looking at him and it ironicly he's he was worth about 6 million when he went to leer and I think he went for 6 million uh and his price had dropped now him himself has had a bit of a bad uh record in ter terms of injuries I believe it was a knee injury he suffered with now his record ain't that bad in the championship one of the reasons why he was on our radar he had a very good season when he was at Preston uh knocked in a couple of goals and and the like so let's have a look last season I don't think he did too much I think I know he was injured um yeah last season 13 appearances two goals one assist but it's the season it's the season way was a preon I want to bring up let's bring that up a minute and when he was at Preston it was 20 appearances eight goal one assist and he he caught the eye of a lot of people he played very well underneath under that Ryan low team now if you could pull this off fantastic we do need another Striker ideally if we're say we're saying we're letting a certain Bailey camar to go on loan to bring in say ugbo and then or with letting bayy go out on loan to Rex him and we're bringing Tom in to cover that role as well I know some people were like well why don't we just keep Bailey I don't know if that's the right decision but we I all I know is that we still need Firepower what we noted from that game yesterday is that it was we played some really good plays and got some really good positions we lack a focal point we lack any kind of attack going forward and that's something that we are struggling for we know this we've known this for a while that up top is where we've been trying to get sorted hopefully we can get obbo done by next week uh some point Monday Tuesday any day next week I just as long as it's not Friday uh I want it to just be done and I say not Friday because you want him to be in the in the building ready getting ready for Plymouth because the thing is he might have to come off the bench with not being ready Jamal loow looked very good yesterday by the way as well but here's the thing if you go for tomon camon Canon is in is alone the that going on at the minute it's in insane they are going to struggle to stay up this season I think I really do think the Cooper got a hell of a job on atleta to keep him in that league but they will see what happens there but for me we need to uh gra what I just said I've just seen what their inss are uh it pooo for me uh but we need to make sure that we can get some players in in this sense because if we don't we will struggle up top again and if this is one of the loans you get in that means you would have a front two of obbo and Tom Cannon sounds impressive if you got ugbo in um it's interesting that arford are looking at him as well so we' got competition there uh you kind of hope that we would win that race as well but transfers and stuff and where the opposition teams want players to go change so it's always interesting to see where they end up sending players so we will see on that one but if say Tom Cannon did get in would it be a tramper you'd be very happy to get in uh and see him do well and let's just have a look at what his injury record is I believe it was a knee injury um it doesn't say I know he had an injury he missed 48 uh days last season you miss 10 game back injury thank you it was a back injury so he was out for 45 days not any injury so he had a back injury so you're going to have to keep an eye on that if you get him in making sure he's just well protected in that bit and just does the right um exercises to make sure it's okay granted again take it with a grain of salt is from Alan Nixon I know a lot of you I know what your feelings are with that one uh he gets some right he gets some wrong um it is what it is and you got remember all this at this moment in time is transfer speculation especially this one this one is massively transfer speculation especially when you see the likes of Barry Bannon now turning around say that he's messaging ugbo going when you're coming when you're coming that's how close it's starting to look with ugbo you've even got the captain trying to get in on the at going what going on what the deal with this and you hope we are closer to getting in oow in but it would be nice to start talking about other players and other positions we know up top is a position that we need to be sorted but at the same time we have to uh look at Midfield and Def defense next so we'll see what happens what
