Speaking of weather related phenomenon joined now by meteorologist Corey Smith for a look at the forecast, Corey, we know not gonna be impacted by that too much. Correct. Yeah. In fact, uh Debbie, along with the high pressure, gonna keep us dry. So that kind of the opposite uh impact. We'll talk about that here in a second. But let's take a look outside right now and talk about what we did see today here in the mid south. High temperature 94 degrees in Memphis. So a little bit warmer than yesterday, a little bit warmer than average. And I think we stay around this 9495 degree uh range as we go into the next couple of days, definitely hot, but the humidity is gonna be lower. So cooler feeling at least than last week. So some good news. There are no rain chances though for this week and we're gonna talk about tropical storm Debbie, the impacts that we are expecting with that along the southeastern us, but also the dry weather for us here in the mid south. But of course, kids heading back to school in Memphis tomorrow, temperatures and weather really shouldn't be you 76 degrees in the morning, 92 right around midday. And as they're heading home, 94 degrees in the, it's definitely a hot afternoon for sure, hour by hour for tomorrow. Very similar to what we saw today. So see overnight clear conditions. And as you get into your Monday afternoon, we're expecting sunny weather and temperatures, middle nineties, very much like what we saw today. I think the next seven days staying pretty steady in our forecast each day here across the mid south and east forecast. Uh, for us here in the weather department tomorrow afternoon, 93 degrees around 2 p.m. 95 right around four o'clock in the afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Let's take a look at tropical storm Debbie off the Florida coast. We've been seeing tornado warnings actually issued in portions of central Florida today as the storm continues to work to the north and northeast expected to make landfall in the Big Bend region of Florida tomorrow at some point, it's a category one hurricane, but take a look at this meandering. This is Friday right here where it eventually becomes a remnant low, so really not moving too much. And that is setting the stage for some extremely high precipitation totals and especially Georgia and South Carolina, it looks like 20 to 30 inches of rain will be possible along the coast. But for us here in the mid south, pretty quiet weather, high pressure, the dominating factor. And along with Debbie, enhancing that northerly to north easterly flow, which keeps us dry and warm as it goes throughout the next seven days. No chances of rain in the forecast. In fact, if we take a look at our due points is our humidity actually decreasing as you go throughout the week. So it's gonna feel even better as we get towards. There is a Friday and even next weekend looking like some really nice weather for this time of the year. So 95 degrees or high temperature tomorrow with plenty of sunshine up to 96 on Tuesday. Probably our hottest day of the week. They're gonna low to mid nineties through the rest of the week. Low nineties and some lower humidity for next weekend. Love.
