[Music] welcome back in ladies and gentlemen to another fantasy pros Championship live draft coverage here on the ffpc YouTube as always I'm your host Aiden L Lori joining me Dave trolei and our special guest for today fantasy points Brian Drake Brian thank you so much for hopping on thank you guys for having me I really enjoy all the ffpc drafts I get to do the pros versus Joe's and I get to do the read for the ffpc every morning when I'm on SiriusXM fantasy sports radio so that's always fun I try to put my all into the read we we love to hear that we love to hear that now a lot of lot of news in the past couple of days and I'm sure everyone in the chat tuning in is going to be really intrigued to see where a lot of names fall or rise based on this news obviously CD lamb signed his contract yesterday we had a Litany of people added to the pup list missing the first four weeks of the Season today we had some maybe surprising cuts um maybe smaller less impactful names um but names that nonetheless could impact players who remained on the team and and their role so I'm going to I'm going to start off there cutdown day was today of all of the cuts that occurred or the players who were at added to the pupus Brian I'm going to start with you which one do you think is going to be the most impactful for Fantasy or the one that maybe you're watching the most to see how it impacts a depth chart or a role for a certain player yeah I mean there was there were several you know I'm a Tim Patrick fan from way back because the guy just never seems to go away but the one that caught my eye most was out in San Francisco with Elijah Mitchell going on injured reserve so he's he's done for the year you know that's something we always debate is well is it going to be Mitchell we going to get some Mason they drafted out of Louisville now it's like wheels up man just go get Jordan Mason because when that gets in the game he looks good if CMC ever happens to go down whoever is the running back in that backfield and that scheme is going to be a stud so that's really what stuck out to me T what about you other than kind of the Elijah Mitchell really surprising IR which which kind of news drop from today kind of most caught your attention this is one a little off the wall but I think it's a name to watch as we get later in draft period Odell Beckham goes on the pup list out the first four games what does that mean I mean jayen w has been banged up in Camp we really don't know what's going on there is he going to be 100% when the season starts he has been in and out of practice there's a lot of questions surrounding that Tyreek H had a little minor injury does that mean Malik Washington the rookie who's had a great pre-season does does he deserve to be drafted in some of these fantasy pros or main events or even beste ball before it sells out here soon you know this is a guy that you know has shown a ton of talent the preseason I know it's the preseason but he fits what Miami is trying to do but also does this mean that DAV aan gets more snaps does this mean that he lines up more as a receiver and if that's the case and he's playing even more that's only makes his stock rise so it's a little off the wall because most people aren't even looking at Odell Beckham most people probably didn't even know Odell Odell Beckham was still playing but with him being out you know it's definitely interesting on a team like that that we know just cares about speed Brian I'm gonna GNA kind of go to you this draft is off to a pretty interesting start obviously mcaffrey Bree Hall and beon the first three picks off the board and then just an absolute run of receivers what are making out at 11 come on how much money you to be in this draft buddy yeah 350 ENT you never know it happens way often more than you think you have to hope their Q is set right you have to hope the que had been set May as it is but some of these guys like I don't know man you're you're timing out and Jonathan Taylor as your timeout it's not good for business man let's go yeah no no Feel Free as me and TP say that that these drafts are listed on ffbc is Live on YouTube so the people know what they're getting into and they and they sell out usually a week or two in advance because there's some we've seen crazy stuff in all the times we've been doing this I know it was autoed but TP this is becoming so popular that Taylor miss out on the top 10 it's pretty much Taylor Barkley or Taylor Gibbs or or guys like that you're seeing that pretty pretty popular and it's risky I've done a lot of drafts uh not high stakes tight end premium drafts so you know it's actually going to help I think this guy at 11 a little bit but um because in in some of the drafts I do I am drafting at the back end and I'm like what does it look like if I go running back running back and there's some receivers that are G to fall there it's not I mean we'll see in this draft but I've done it a million times and it's not the worst thing in the world and you get away there are guys like DK Mech Devon Smith guys like that fall to that range you know sometimes Brandon iuk Debo says fall Mike Evans players like that so it's it's definitely if you believe in Jonathan Taylor and you believe in saquon Barkley I guess you could do worse it's not my C but I mean we've always talked about you never know what you're going to get with the Texans receiver I mean we've seen Nico Collins fall to like the 311 n Collins is all over the draft board right now go to the second round all the way to the fourth yeah it's it's all over the place but let's staying on the receiver Brian I'm going to ask you AJ Brown at the 105 second receiver off the board I I know some big AJ Brown Believers not even the guy in the middle of our screen but fans with you tonight that's what I'm saying you're outnumbered here we have uh I mean that's I that's not good for me because he'll survive I lived in Philly for five years and I grew to just hate everything about Philly sports and their fan base I always say I always no no no I always say I mean they're the absolute worst and that's what makes them the best um thank but I think that was a compliment no it is a compliment that that's that's the prefer to start but just Brian your thoughts AJ Brown over guys like Tyreek Hill Jamar chase amanra St Brown what are are you are you buying that that AJ Brown has top two receiver potential this year no um and this coming from an Eagles fan um you know because if you say hey maybe if he catches 17 touchdowns or something like that then then sure but we know that dvon Smith is gonna have a really good season you know he's just every year he gets better and better and better eats up targets I think with this Kell Moore offense we're going to see a little more involvement out of Dallas gdd who knows if we can actually throw the ball to a running back at some point this year that would be a godsend and it's you know down the road at some point Johan doson could become a thing um I'm looking at our fantasy points uh nffc cheat sheet I mean just we have AJ Brown is the sixth overall receiver and he went as the fifth overall player here in this format so it's not something I would do I would take Tyreek over him even though he's getting a up up there in age Aman ra I'd take over him Jamar Chase I'd take over him I think Garrett Wilson that's where the conversation begins but I'm high on Garrett Wilson I think Garrett Wilson's this year's CD lamb we're going to be talking about him next year if he has a quarterback next year you're going to be like Garrett Wilson's one of the three best receivers in the NFL TP I got to ask you we we talked about a lot but I don't think I've explicitly asked you AJ Brown let's say just his average ADP like mid to late first yeah or Devonte Smith at his current like third round ADP I can't say both because that's a cop out but G to my head I'd probably take Devon Smith I mean and I love AJ Brown I think he does have wide receiver one upside I think there's a good chance both players are going to play a lot in the slot I think K Moore is going to figure out a way to throw the ball a ton and if jayen Herz takes that next step as a passer he he regressed a little bit last year but if he can you know all positive things so far in training camp regarding Jaylen herds you know so to me Devonta Smith where he's getting drafted I don't understand what's changed since last year last year he was a one two or two three turn pick why is he being draft in the fourth round now you the these guys at the end of the first 10 11 12 where aj Brown goes you then have this awkward decision in the third fourth round because Devonte Smith is there and you're like gez Lise you have to make that decision like let's just say he's there in the third round and you have AJ Brown so you take them both then you have to push Herz up yeah you have to like I mean if you're betting on both you kind of like got to try to figure out a way to to get hurts and if you're picking at the end end you know the chances are Herz ain't coming back to you so do you push him all the way up to the fourth round he's not he's not pretty much getting drafted most of the quarterbacks are going in the late fourth early fifth in the ffpc right now at least um so it's interesting because you do have you put yourself in a dmma also if you take Barkley you take Barkley in the first round and you take a receiver like it's not something I like doing even with an offense I think it's going to be one of the best in football so it's definitely a tricky spot you kind of in my opinion gotta Pi one or just go all in and bet on the offense to be a you know Payton Manning from you know how many ever years ago uh Brian let's let's focus on another bird team the Cardinals with two uh players drafted here in our first 15 picks Trey McBride goes as tight end one which is we we've seen here and there but isn't too common usually he's he's residing that tight end 3 four range Marvin Harrison goes at the 2011 Wide Receiver 8 is there a sense of obviously we saw McBride especially with Kyler an explosive end to the season is there any concern from you that adding Marvin Harrison and kind of improving that receiving coure with Michael Wilson may be having improvements in his uh second season that Trey McBride isn't gonna have the target share uh that he had last year to essentially reward him being drafted as a as a tight end one overall yeah you know this is why I love ffpc drafts is because of the tight end premium aspect and that extra strategy that goes into it uh because it it really does change thing in that second third round here so that's ballsy this guy at at the the two3 taking Trey McBride first overall I probably wouldn't go that route now is he gonna have the same Target share no he's not going to Marvin Harrison's goingon to lead that team in Target share and he's going to be their alpha dog but this team should be better offensively while still being absolute dog dirt on the defensive side of the ball so like every game in that division they're going to have try to win a shootout and it like that's going to be the funnest team to watch in that 4:00 window when Kyler's just scooting around the field throwing balls you're just watching the points go ding D ding D ding D ding you're like all right my team's coming back uh because it it's really not a big passing tree but I I know he's still on the board we don't want to talk about players that aren't here but he's so we down who cares I love Greg dorch for this offense yeah I think Greg dorge in a you know you're in a full PPR League you what this format or whatever Greg dor is going to be a player people are either picking up off Waiver Wires or like damn I got to get this guy in a flex spot because he's going to see seven eight targets a week in this team especially with the Z Jones suspension I mean that's something that people probably didn't even see this week or if they did they probably looked over it like all right you know they were all those three guys are all the same Michael you know Wilson and you know with Z Jones being out I mean that only helps things that's one less guys going to be getting targets early in the season and by the time he gets back he might be obsolete on that offensive if they're buzzing so and stuff like that you can't gotta pay attention to team 10 is is in our chat um he was saying that he's drafted him T so I'd love to hear his reasoning once maybe he he completes his three4 turn about his reasoning for selecting McBride over lorta Kelsey can K and Andrews um you guys see this all the time you watch every draft uh you know you guys do a tremendous job with these shows is that something in you know the ffpc where we're are you seeing McBride as the first tight end off the lot lately I've seen it a lot lately I mean it's I think people try and diversify their teams I think people try and diversify their teams we we didn't see it at all TP I can't speak for you I didn't see it at all really the first couple months he was consistently behind definitely not first couple months but recently I've seen McBride pretty much McBride leaport and Kelsey right now I think is I think kelse is the one that's kind of faded back a little bit but those two guys I mean they're we're talking about a couple picks different so nothing crazy but I thought these tight ends would get be moved a little bit more especially with the uncertainty in the 11 12 spot after they're the top 10 that most people think you know are pretty secure right now um but it hasn't happened I haven't seen a lot of double TAPS at the tight end position you know over guys like Taylor McBride Gibbs stuff like that who all have on you know a little bit of uncertainty right now and then obviously with the you know 1.5 PPR in a tight end premium you know these tight ends definitely have value and it's not as deep as it has been in the years's past so and you obviously you're going to find one or two guys down there that everybody likes But It's Tricky this year at the position so Brian maybe the arguably the biggest news on cutdown day is about someone returning punts and that Sean mcy coming out and saying that Kiren Williams will be their punt returner this year for a guy who has struggled with injuries does not seem like the wisest move um I wouldn't say it's a good sign there's been a lot of kir negativity on like fantasy football Twitter and the like of that it's hard to find someone who is in kir Williams this year despite the great season he had last year but what do you make of that news that he's returning puns and are we are we overthinking this it should be maybe just kind of dismiss it or there there is something there that we should be concerned about I mean it's one of those quotes that no matter how you take it either either as a joke or as gospel or whatever it's going to be people are going to take it and run with it and in a lot of drafts it might suppress his value and really what it's goingon to do is going to push Blake corm way up the board as people think oh my God this guy's going to be the man I got a good buddy of mine he's a big Michigan fan went to the national title game the second that he was drafted he text me he goes Blake km's taking that job he's a better running back just overall skill set than kyen Williams remember a year ago kyen Williams ADP was like 200 or so my buddy John talking about this like nobody was drafting Kiren Williams but he just has a role with nobody else there I mean look at some of these weekly outputs you know in a PPR 38 20 14 24 30 in week 17 but there was nobody else there I think the reason they went and got Korum is they figured well we can't kill this guy we need someone to take the volume off his shoulders but uh I don't think off the gate they're going to just say all right you're the P You're a gadget player now uh I think he's still G to be their starting running back yeah and he's one of the guys I think me and Trevor said he really is a a make or break because for the people who are drafting him in this early third which is where he settled if he produces like he saw last year like we saw last year excuse me not I wouldn't go as far as a League winner but people are getting an exceptional value because when these drafts like never too early baseball the fantasy pros first open before the NFL draft Kyrie Williams was a one-w turn pick and now he's and but I think there's enough there with Kiren and me and TP have both been on the same boat for months that it's just he's not a guy either of us like it's there's a too many potential pitfalls there there's you turp has 1% it's just it's it's a weird situation and there's a lot Brian you said it there's a lot of people out there who say beyond anything else Blake km is the better running back like it's not even like a question to a lot of people he's a better Runner than kir Williams so if you're drafting Kiren and again Kiron uh and a points per game average was second behind only CMC guy over 21 points a game if you're drafting him you have to get Blake corm you have to it's you know like the guys with CMC and it's like you got to get Jordan Mason now I I wouldn't feel right going to bed at night without having Blake corm on my team if I drafted um kyen but again you're going to have to draft him so early you're you're spending two roster spots really just to have Rams rb1 but we can also say look how profitable Rams rb1 is is it worth two roster spots yeah and and Kiren also this is a guy who even back to his first year in the NFL he didn't play and then obviously last year guy has injury history like he seems like he's due to get hurt he's already been hurt in training camp so it just feels like korm is the smash spot and especially in the fantasy first championship where you're managing week to week it it does feel as though to me is like I can comfortably draft both even though it would cost you and then if something happens to Kiren or or Corum isn't the role that anyone anticipated him being and and he is more of just kind of on the sidelines and Kiren retains his role well then you can drop Korum or or look other ways um but it's definitely an interesting development with the pun returns it just as I said it just doesn't it's not what you wanted to hear if you're one of the few Kiran Believers out there it's also a weird thing to just say like now like I don't understand like tryes I love MC and I love McVey as a coach everybody loves mcvey's fantasy teams and you know the guys he puts out there but like why would he say that now like what's what's the benefit of that I guess McVey just goes by the beat of his own drum it just doesn't really make any sense like so I wanted to talk just while he literally just got drafted I didn't want to forget him so Josh Jacobs again last couple days has been going at the 403 he he he he stays there t I'm going to start with you surprised I think you kind of talked about it pre-show surprised that he's not getting pushed up a little more obviously the news came out AJ Dylan is out for the season Marshon Lloyd has a hamstring injury and hasn't practiced in multiple weeks I believe and we're setting up for it seems ideal situation Josh Jacobs looks like he's going to be due for a big role especially with the fact that the Packers it's really a one-year contract they can feed him the ball as much as they want and then cut bait should Josh Jacobs be going more maybe in this like mid third round instead of hovering in this early to mid fourth I love Isaiah peka this year very much offense everything seems to line up perfectly for him with everything we've heard in the last let's just say 24 hours with Jacobs and Lloyd and Dylan going you know out for the season and Lloyd obviously maybe probably going on the pup list we don't really know that yet and really nobody behind him yeah of course they could add somebody but why is Josh Jacobs going so far down I know people hate him me included haven't DED that much Josh Jacobs this year I've always been on the Marshon Lloyd bandwagon you know until he you know obviously he's been banged up pretty much all preseason which makes it a lot more frustrating but you know with Josh Jacobs now why is he not going early especially like he could easily be an 80% snapshare guy early in the season I know the floor doesn't do that I know he's not a guy that's going to give a guy a ton of carries and a ton of work 247 but what's different from him and Pacha obviously the Chiefs offense is better but is it that much better than Green Bay I mean it's debatable I mean obviously you know Mahomes over love but I mean they got a ton of talent in the on the Packers offense too so why is he not up there and the Kiren Williams you know what is different from Josh Jacobs and Devon aain obviously aain we all know the Flash and he's probably the most polarizing player in fantasy football this year where he's getting drafted you know with so much uncertainty there but manag yeah if Jacobs is too low for me um even for somebody who doesn't like him I feel like he should be going at least a round higher like it just makes why is rashed rice getting moved up all the way to the third round but Josh Jacobs when he pretty much has nobody behind him Emanuel Wilson I mean who's he he's a serviceable guy but like he's a guy that made an NFL roster but like why is Jacob's not moving it's it's it's very very weird especially like this draft I thought all news is out Josh Jacob's the third round pick you know he's going up there in the etn that KF Wadd Reign makes sense that's where he should go keep it moving but fourth round pick but team 10's having a really good draft so far Jefferson fall on the 10 you know McBride with the tight end premium you know not my cup of tea right there but still not a bad pick you know say Brad northcut in the chat said he's already has a ton of Sam leaport he's not in's trying to differentiate a little bit he's not in on Travis Kelce so that's why he pushed McBride up in this draft and then neighbors and Jacobs it makes too much sense that's different thing that if someone's just tuning into this like maybe somebody who you know they they saw me tweet out hey I'm gonna be on this and they're they're tuning in they're they're like fantasy football morning listeners or something like that and they just do their classic 12 team and they heard us do the the my ffpc reads and all that good stuff and they look at this like why would you guys do this the differentiation that you guys are talking about making sure and my buddy my buddy Dwayne McFarland would always talk about this when we were do our our podcast a few years ago is you want to try to have these different lineups because like people are drafting all year essentially once he's draft open you want to be different so it's so different than like you're in your 12 team home League or you're in Underdog or whatever is you're trying to a little bit different and get a lineup that nobody else has and maybe you have too manyy shares of one guy so you're like ah screw it it also protects you for obviously injuries which we all hate and then hey you could be wrong Sam the porter might not be the tight one so then if you just locked in with Sam laort and all these early round shares and he turns into tight end six you're going to be behind the eightball against some of these other teams I want to just piggyback on your Josh Jacobs Point again two years ago this guy was rb3 in PPR on a horrible horrible Raiders team but I tweeted this out today I just basically stole a a stat from my buddy Graham Barfield who said Matt laflor has not given a single running back more than 50% of a team's carry since 2019 again this is Aaron Jones uh his lead RB averaged between 48 to 42% of total carries four straight years so somebody else is gonna Tote The Rock if history repeats itself in Green Bay it's just a matter of is that Marshon Lloyd do they add somebody I bet they do a name to watch here too I wouldn't be surprised how about like a uh deont foran you know if he's healthy terminated his contract today in Cleveland I think he could fit in up there yeah and and we'll talk about Foreman because it's just there's so many for as in the weeds as we are in fantasy football right you see Foreman getting cut for the average transp it's no big deal for us we're gonna take that as well that's Jerome Ford by himself for four straight weeks right and we'll get into that but there's a lot but no Foreman's an interesting spot because D Foreman has had pretty good oppon the last couple years um that's a really good stat but just also it's it's GNA be interesting is that some of that because you know they didn't want to give Aaron Jones a ton of carries because of his injury history and he's not necessarily the mold um of a guy who you want to give a ton of cares it's a really interesting spot and I know Marshon Lloyd it felt like his stocks were were sinking rapidly following the injury news the AJ Dylan positivity and today you know they're creeping back up I'm sure because there's going to be an opportunity there it's a im of what he can do with it uh Brian there was a good question in the chat I do want to get to obviously in the fantasy pros Championship you're in this big National contest you're going to be obviously playing within your league then if if you win your league or you place within your league you then you advance weeks 1517 to that Championship Sprint with a million dollars on the line and the question was you're seeing rashy rice now go in this third late third round he's been pushed up that much is it hard for you to maybe draft him if you're in Team 11's shoes here for example knowing that there are people in this very contest who had Rashi rice in round 10 when all of his his news was negative and all the issues he was getting in Legally and he fell to that n9th 10 round consistently how does that play into I mean you can be a Rashi rice believer this is the point where you kind of have to take him but is in the back your head is like man there are some teams who just got him at such a better value or do you kind of have to ignore that and go get your guy I mean it is a great point for a tournament like this where you're in all these leagues that people have drafted over several months so excellent point but again what are you supposed to do there not take the most talented player what if he has a great year fantastic so the guy you drafted in the third has a great year the guy he drafted two months ago in the eighth is having a great year because they're the same guy well maybe the guy that had him in the eth his third round pick busts so I mean you you don't know what's GNA happen there you can't just pass over him because oh somebody got a better value on him like who cares your roster is still completely different than than the next guy I mean what was he gonna take Devonte Adams there who's to me like I have zero interest in Devonte Adams in any format but you know this is what we talked about with like our boy at 10 Malik neighbors came or 11 so Ri Rice he got him then he had the opportunity could have took uh Devonte Adams could have tooken Devonte Smith if you wanted him ended up with DJ Moore so he starts running back running back and then he's got DJ Moore Ri Rice I mean that's pretty solid for starting at old school rbrb I don't know about you guys but I think that's all right if you're gonna build out a Taylor and Barkley start which is common I'm I'm a big fan of rash eras and DJ Moore to kind of you know start your assumably what was going to become a receiver run we'll see what they do here um TP I can't speak for you but again I like rice regardless of the price I don't think he's gonna get suspended the juju signing is a little bit weird it does make you put a little bit of maybe talking about ju guu Juju is a [ __ ] it I know you're not I know you're not I know you're not talk about Juju feels like this is our insurance in case a Rashi suspension is handed down and the fact that they had to do it just makes me like is there a suspension coming it just you know gets the gear we're in overthinking people definitely like to tell thems that story but like ju guu is not playing on this team he is terrible I know people like well he just didn't put any effort in in New England I get it he got his money and got thrown out of there but what is he gonna turn into Juju back in the good Pittsburgh days like he's a very average receiver who doesn't seem to actually want to play anymore he's going to take away you know I read somebody saying he's going to take away snaps from Worthy like okay if worthy just totally flops as a rookie I guess there's a if you really want to tell yourself that story but like Maris Brown's gonna be back soon you know Rashid rice Kelce how is Juju getting on this field I mean it was a depth signing it was an Andy Reed type of signing they clearly as you saw today Justin Ross cut cadarius Tony cut Sky Moore I'm surprised didn't get cut behind him like Justin Watson's there just because they love him just because he's a veteran guy I don't see Juju above him so worthy rice Brown Kelsey I I'm the biggest Kelsey guy but those three you take them with such confidence Patrick Mahomes this year could have a record year if All Things fall into place uh just want to get a couple things in the comments Alex Pon helping us out recently that um he was saying that just kind of recently broke that Deontay Foreman is expected back on the Browns they're going to add him back so again nothing confirms but definitely I looked it up there's been some rumors that that is kind of of his expected Landing step so we'll follow that uh Team 10 uh Brad northcut who is in the chat he he was just saying Brian he he appreciat show because he listens to you on his Drive every day to work so it's Gotta Be Nice drafting he hears my emphatic reads for myffpc.com radio and if you sign up oh I got the whole read memorized I do it twice a day oh look so he goes and he grabs Herz here yeah so now he's got his he's got a tight end he's got a quarterback he's a little light at running back with with Jacobs here but I like the team so far me round Herz is just insane like last year talking about a guy who was locked in like this we talk about the differences in drafts year after year last year you know quarterbacks were the hottest thing out there it was Josh alen it was Mahomes it was Herz it was all these guys who were being dra Lamar all these guys drafted in the second third round of some drafts now I mean you can get a player who in my opinion no Homer is the quarterback one with d Herz I mean if you line them both up I love love Mahomes love Josh Allen I don't draft that much of him this year for you know kind of obvious reasons but how do you how do you not be excited about Jaylen Herz in the fifth round like it just especially in a in a league where you gota click a button I know that's my famous saying that I say it all the time but this is not a league like baseball in baseball you know you it's still a great pick but you know you're locked in with Jaylen Herz as your quarterback All Season you don't got you don't got to really worry about your backup obviously injuries happen and all that stuff hopefully that never happens with him but you know you lock in him you lock in McBride you lock in two stud receivers and Jacobs you have so many options with these next couple picks and you know Amari Cooper who is a name that's just quiet in fantasy circles right now but also we saw you know last year he won people a ton of money at the end of the season so good start by team 10 you know we nothing negative to say about that team the the merits stacking are obviously debated in the weekly managed I mean even in baseball to some respect where some people are obviously all in on stacking and others don't consider it to be the most important thing regardless a little bit surprised if team five push AJ Brown to their wide receiver to and then selects momes instead of Jaylen Herz as their quarterback just interesting but the team next to them is who I want to talk about because that is the talk of the chat right now Brian I start with you Team Four going full bully tight build obviously ffpc is tight and premium but now your Flex spots are locked in Evan Ingram and Jake Ferguson with King K as you're starting tight end you got two good ones in Canad and Ingram jury's about I shouldn't say jury's out on Ferguson had a good year last year but to me it still feels as though he just has a ceiling on him um but still three tight ends in the first five rounds to pay with cidi and then Rashad white is the running back and this this show this coverage is not a fan of Rashad white um we're big Bucky Irving guys but I want to hear your thoughts on that bully tight end build by team four well you should be Sean Tucker guys but just some of Syracuse I know I was waiting for that uh it's interesting and you know there these are two guys who in just traditional season long leagues Ingram and I call him lovingly Turd Ferguson for you old SNL fans um you know I love as you know later Round Guys in a traditional League where you're getting those guys in the seventh eighth ninth round to then say like hey I'm locking in Ferguson and Ingram what you're saying is these guys are the second passing option on their team and frankly they probably are you know uh Evan Ingram last year over a 100 targets uh if he would have scored two more touchdowns because he only had four he would have been the tight end one on the entire season uh Ferguson is a guy who I think you've got the coach coaching for his life who knows if dak's ever coming back they got no running game they're going to throw 50 times a week so Ferguson could see 10 targets a week so it's not the craziest thing in the world again maybe this guy has 50 different teams and he's just trying something new um but very possible we'll see what I mean do I love Rashad white as your rb1 no um because I think the loss of Dave Canales has a major impact on that that team and I think it's gonna have a Major Impact positively on Carolina and whoever you know picks Deontay and Bryce young and uh some of the panther skill players well we we'll talk about Carolina because they have some really interesting developments no the I mean Liam Cohen it's it's going to be interesting with him there replacing Canalis obviously Canalis loves to run the ball Rashad white got so many carries and touches but was an inefficient Runner and and it just if you're reading into the coach speak there just is a hint of negativity or frustration with white and it doesn't feel that way with Bucky Irving now white is a guy I think his his market price has adjusted enough where I still think that kind of four five turn is probably still right for a guy who has the receiving upside that he does you know Bucky Irving has a lot of underlying stuff as we we've discussed here with his R score that doesn't bode well for for NFL success so I think white is kind of priced in fine it's just a risk and it's especially riskier with Rashad white when he is going to be your rb1 and because like right now this team is going to be we weak at either receiver or running back in all likelihood because they attack tight end so aggressively I'm intrigued to see what they do on the clock here but it it it's just kind of I don't know TP I I'll ask you like is there any running backs who's gone after you would have taken or would you have gone a receiver instead of white and just fully if you're doing this build would Rashad white have been your pick at the 49 or was would that have been a receiver and then you just kind of Punt on running back and try and hit it late it would have been on this build let me just go through it would have been if I'm not Tak I never would have took Rashad white there 0% chance Josh Allen probably would have been my pick there to go with conade it would have made a little bit more sense that than taking just going full punt the running back position because we all know the running back position is if the top three you could say four if you're a Gibbs guy and then you know second round Barkley Taylor Henry peo they're all they all some question marks attached to them especially with the receivers that are going around them but you know that team just if you tell me I would have had Lan conade Ingram Allen Ferguson and Christian Kirk I would have liked that way way more better because you're gonna be weak at a position and you it looks like this team is definitely gonna be weak at quarterback and receiver I mean I love CD lamb obviously the the the wide receiver one in my eyes um obviously getting signed getting paid you know in that offense that added nobody it's hard not to like that you know Kirk a little bit of question marks there but still it's a questionable running back wide receiver and you know and quarterback room through six so it's definitely questionable and you're pretty much locked into those three tight ends every week there's not really many outs you have because your wide receiver you're gonna be way behind the eightball running back you're gonna be behind the eightball you're going to be drafting your r rb2 as guys like Eckler and Brian Robinson guys like that who yeah you could like but you have to click the button it's a lot more difficult yeah and they have some options with running back L it's one of those this is going to be wait and see we could look back on this in five rounds and like what they did while we're on C Lam I think it's important we cover and Brian if you don't mind sharing your thoughts I was a little surprised CD lamb was going pretty consistently in the fantasy P championship at like the 102 the last week as the hold out concerns kind of grew as we got closer to the season you saw him slipping more and more to that 104 um TP I believe there was a draft where cidi fell like to the 108 yesterday a bestall draft like there was there was burs got him in the at the 108 two days ago there was some legit concern now he signs the contract so if it does that should that alleviate all concern with cidi or is there still and Y is just a little bit of worry because he missed pretty much all a training camp and could take a little bit to ramp back up are you fully on board with Sidi and where should he be going in fantasy P Championship drafts now that he has signed his contract I mean if you think he's the number one receiver off the board yeah I mean he should be a top two pick the only issue that anyone could ever say about CD lamb is you are worried about a potential soft tissue injury because correct he hasn't been there that's it that's the only knock you can have on him he's still great he's still super we're talking about him like you the kid's what is he like 23 years old 24 I mean gez I'm 44 I wish I could run like that but you know that's the only issue you can have he's going to get peppered with targets they have nothing else to throw to we're talking about we're talking about Turd Ferguson a guy's for name is freaking turd uh that they're throwing a ball to they can't run uh and they're going to be in shootouts every single week you know their second corner just got injured uh new D coordinator I think the defense takes a slight step back so yeah Lamb's gonna be awesome it's just a matter of does he get some sort of hamstring pull calf strain because we see it time and time again with these guys when they hold out because you can't replicate you know running around in South Beach or whatever he was doing uh you know on the videos versus being in Camp y it it does it does feel as though those three running backs people have maybe felt that they just feel safer sure and it's just that seems what's kind of developed now even with the contract being signed as you said it's say well is there an increased chance of injury is there just a chance of maybe it's a little rusty the first couple weeks we'll see but it could also we could look back that all those teams that got CD lamth the 104 105 106 108 are getting Great Value uh Brian I've been meaning to ask you because you mentioned it I think when we were discussing kind of that back into the draft you said you're not drafting Devonte Adams like in any situation I just was wondering if you could maybe just elaborate on why you're so low on Adams this year yeah well number one he plays for the Raider that's that's all you need to say so I actually wrote this up I do some articles over a little site called Sports ke they do more than just pro wrestling who knew uh but I I wrote this up today I think it'll get published tomorrow and really if you look at Devonte Adams and what he did last year he had really two blowup games that helped solidify his overall point totals he needed 20 plus Targets in those two games to achieve uh those scores right so then you look at okay you got Gardner mchu then my buddy Pat thorman from established the Run did this great article on Pace of play and if you look at luk gsy who is the new I got a some sort of bug flying around me down here in my basement awful offensive coordinator yeah so Luke getsy stinks his last two years in Chicago they were 31st and 32nd in neutral pass rate so they're going to be slow they're they don't want to throw the football they got somehow you know you know Antonio Pierce is the head coach here they're gonna want to run the rock with zamir Wright like you know till they're down 30 to nothing at halftime um and then by the way he makes a ton of D next year there is 0.0 chance Devonte Adams on this team next year if you look at his cap number for next year it's over $40 million he's not going to be a Raider next year he's getting traded mid-season like he's gonna end this year on the Jets so maybe that's a cool thing if you think okay hey I want to get him for wherever he gets traded to but for the time being I mean this is gonna go down real poorly for the Raiders I don't want anything to do with them i' look at the guys going around him you can draft Mike Evans who goes two rounds after him in in certain leagues here he only went a couple of picks later Mike Evans uh I wish I had the article still up in front of me that I wrote but he had something like five more um 15-point games than Devonte Adams had last year in a PPR so why are you spending this High pick on Devonte Adams who really doesn't have the upside every week more often than not he's giving you like 10 or less points so forget that I don't want to draft guys on bad teams yeah uh just on average in this format Devonte Adams 30 two Mike Evans 312 so both of them Dro Mike Evans by almost half a by half a round Devonte Adams by almost a full round so definitely an interesting spot there uh I gotta admit team 12 I I do like I'm buying back into really really good DFT so far I'm buying back into Tony Pard despite last year and the PTSD I've experienced from that but it looks good looks refreshing then Chase Brown is obviously this this this Show's favorite player in fantasy this year so gotta like that let's talk about the Panthers because I wanted to come back to them Brian you brought them up I'm going to start with you then and then Brian come to you team 11 took Deontay Johnson and Jonathan Brooks but let's focus on Jonathan Brooks here for a second what was initially like hey he might missed two or three weeks has now extended into he's on the pup he's missing maximum of four weeks excuse me or minimum of four weeks on the pup list then Canalis had obviously mentioned a couple there's going to be a ramp up period so who knows knows what his like touches are going to look like in those first couple games back he hasn't practiced pretty much all summer Jonathan Brooks I think personally I've gone all over the place with he's been completely off my board he's risen back on my board when there were some more positive stuff about his recovery so I'm just G ask you straight up where are you at with Jonathan Brooks is he on your board is there a place that you'd be willing to take him with the fact that he's been added to the pup and we he may not be like really even full go until like week 8 n and then there still might even be an acclamation period I was pretty much off Brooks to start this process I really was not riding the the chubba hubard bandwagon but I felt like where he was being drafted it made a lot of sense because he's going to get you a lot of serviceable weeks to start the season but when you look at the overall picture Jonathan Brooks in the seventh round doesn't make any sense to me at all but I expect him to fall a little bit in these drafts and these fantasy pros and Main Events as we go through the weekend because he's going to miss the first four games and people get scared of that and justable because if he's your running back too in the seventh round it's not on this team but most teams you're taking him in the seventh round he's your running back too that's a massive question because you got to fill that hole for probably six weeks until he gets back but if he's ramped up and ready to go by the money time at the end you could be sitting on just an absolute gold mine on on this team I mean if the we all expect Carolina to be better this year new coach you saw what he did last year you know with the Tampa Bay offense lot of positive things coming out of there and Jonathan Brooks is extremely talented player could this be a Bree Hall situation all over I wouldn't get that crazy but I think there's a lot of potential to you know be a guy that when you have the money on the line at the end of the season you want to own so am I going crazy with Jonathan Brooks no but he's definitely a guy that I will add in these you know many many drafts that I have in the next couple days at the right price because I feel like he's a guy that if I can maneuver through the regular season with the guys like Hubbert and Jerome Ford and guys like that and get him back when it's money time I could be sitting with a guy who could be a you know top three round pick next year all things considered I just but Brian before I get your thoughts on the Panthers I do have to point out felt like Team Four was targeting that Dak pick right with CD lamb and Jake Ferguson in the fold and and Dak goes right before him a couple of interesting kind of stacks that have been blown up obviously we already mentioned now uh Team five passed on Herz to pair with um AJ Brown we saw team two pass on Lamar in the seventh round uh to grab their third running back instead of pairing here with Mark Andrews that's neither here nor there Brian can you give me your thoughts on the Jonathan Brooks news today it's fantasy impact and then if you could elaborate you mentioned earlier uh the role that Canalis is going to play in improving this team and improving their fantasy Outlook if you could kind of give me after you go into Brooks in detail if you could kind of give me an overall Panthers Outlook and and why you maybe like that team yeah so I do I like Brooks if I could get him in a league in the 10th 11 it's like my RB four five like you know you're never going to get that in these leagues because these guys are trying to win a lot of money um so it to me why am I chasing a guy coming off an ACL like we have so much data now on these these guys coming off acl's and it's very very rare that the next season they come back all of a sudden they're great and they're back to good health and they're agile and they put up big numbers I'll love Jonathan Brooks next year when he's you know fully healed from this ACL and he's got a year under his boat we know what this offense looks like then I'll be fully in but Jonathan Brooks goes here at the end of the seventh round you could have had Raheem moer now mind you Raheem moer is what 31 years old but he did score 18 rushing touchdowns last year on top of a couple receiving touchdowns on one of the most run heavy offenses in the league who's on a that's a good team so I you know I probably would have even gone Raheem moer there over Jonathan Brooks and then you you still had par you still had Chase Brown it's just a play on hey we hope that I I catch lightning in a bottle and we do this in fantasy all the time we think oh I'm going to sit on this guy he's going to come back from injury he's going to carry me to a championship it literally never happens right like I mean last year you could say Okay Bree Hall he he came back a little bit after the first couple weeks but we try to do this all the time we try to get so cute and say I'm gonna have this guy clog up my roster for a a few weeks you're gonna be sitting in this guy for half the season what if chuba hub's actually good what if Dave Canal's offense is humming and they're you know a better than mediocre Team all of a sudden now you just pulled chuba hubber out or got forbid mil Sanders still has a pulse no they that he doesn't have a pulse he's he's completely dead but they're not gonna just I think yank the plug out of chuba hover now is chuba hover any great talent absolutely not but again what do coaches love they love veterans they love guys who can pass protect you got Mighty Mouse back here playing quarterback you're going to put a rookie out here on a bad knee who hasn't played in three months and you gonna say Okay Go pass protect for Bryce Young no you're not uh let let's be real so uh but spinning it forward with Dave Canales and this see I love Deontay Johnson anywhere I can draft Deonte and you're getting it where did he go in this draft I want 62 fourth wide receiver here I love that I think this guy could lead the league in Targets this year remember what Adam thielen was doing the beginning of last year and then he turned back into 100-year Old Adam thielen like Deontay is actually good and can earn targets and and separate so I'm excited for him good pick TP I gotta ask you you you've been high on the Jaguars offense although for the amount of receptions he actually had in preseason which I believe was like three Brian Thomas has as much hype as anyone and I think a lot of that was his role um his usage uh and then that the catches that he did have were were pretty impressive only a round is separating him and Christian Kirk now that we have seen an incremental rise with Brian Thomas throughout this preseason we haven't talked really about the overall Jaguars in a bit obviously you had mentioned you were hyen Ingram you really like Trevor Lawrence what are you what are you making out this receiver room to be now is Christian Kirk still the guy you're targeting or have you been converted into the cult of Brian Thomas I've always been in the cult of Brian Thomas but no you were the cult of Christian Kirk I was the cult of both never gavee Davis though but Brian Thomas is getting to a point where he's getting a little pricey I mean he's starting to rise up these boards it feels it feels icky to me for a guy who again I always go back to he's only had one season over 500 yards in college and then was a first round pick that never bodess well for NFL success and I know some of the guys who are being drafted around him jsn getting a lot of hype romad dun getting a lot of hype Brian Thomas getting a lot of hype very likely two of those three guys are not not going to not not going to reach up their their value I mean they're all very talented receivers but I would say out of the bunch I would say Brian Thomas is probably the third most talented I like him I like where he was being drafted I feel like there was plenty of potential there but Christian Kirk's starting to fall down draft boards and it's starting to make me pay attention a little bit more because he was a guy that you're right I was high on it to start the process and then he literally is being ignored in drafts right now and let's not forget Christian Kirk is being paid a lot lot of money to be you know not really anymore but overall All Things Considered being paid a lot of money and we saw what he did with Trevor Lawrence a couple years ago it it wasn't you know he had a really really good season last year was banged up that team was just a disaster but Jacksonville overall Evan Ingram should be in the tight end one category he should be drafted up there with the leapor mcbrides Kelsey concade in my eyes and etn is a guy that we all know I love so this offense to me has a ton of potential this year but the only issue with Brian Thomas is he's get he's getting like a guy he's a guy that I would love as my wide receiver five that I could just like wait to see see how it plays out and not have to click that button week one because there is so much unknown there we don't know Gabe Davis has been just totally quiet we don't know if he's gonna be out there a lot you we know Evan Ingram etn Christian Kirk's gonna be out there if he's 100% we just don't know Brian Thomas and it might take a couple weeks to to figure that out and having to click that button every week could be a little tricky I mean Gabe Davis I think I've said it I don't know if he'll be good but he'll definitely have a role at least early in the season uh Brian there's a question in the chat I wanted to get to which was in this again managed format a chain has been a divisive player beste ball I think it's people are more confidently clicking his name um knowing the upside he presents weekly it's tougher right especially with the dolphins backfield there's a question in the chat for you which is if you're taking a chain as team one here did at 301 do are you taking I'll add on to it they were just asking about Jaylen Wright do you double up and take Wright later do or do you maybe take a chain moster moster like are basically are you doubling up on Dolphins running backs or in this weekly managed format is it just going to be too hard to tell week to week which guy is going to be the one well I don't think they're G to play three running backs and uh you know Jaylen Wright I think is more of a replacement a direct line replacement for Raheem moer who's you know as old as I am but he can still run like the wind got bless the guy so I think Anan is such a unique talent he's very jir Gibbs likee that I don't know why people don't compare the the Lions and the Dolphins offenses more because you've got you know this grinder type in Montgomery and mostard and then you've got the the Young Flash with Gibbs and Anan so you know and Gibbs is a no doubter you know first round pick in redraft here you know he went at the end of the first round so you know anan's one of those guys hey we're trying to win the league right like if you think he's can have this explosive season and they can throw passes to him and he can be you know productive again on that insane efficiency he got last year the hell with it fantasy is supposed to be fun draft him because he's a fun player you know none of these guys this isn't the only team these guys are drafting here you know they're not one and done so I'd love to have as many shares of a guy like aan is possible because he's so exciting it's like Kiron hey I want to have some Kiron because if he does stay healthy we know he's going to get this monster workload you know it's like hey do you want to uh take a shot on aan or you know I don't know James Connor James Cook you know guys like that who the the upside is pretty limited I got a brad North cut again in the chat he he shouted you out said an uncle rico pick there of slowing down but there's a role for Zeke Elliott right they'll find ways I'm sure he'll be jumping in a freaking Salvation Army Bell on uh on thanks Thanksgiving again but Rico D is a complete three down back he's the most complete three down back that they have who's not 80 years old so the only thing that could get in his way is he's Rico doule he doesn't make any money he's got no draft Capital really and the team could replace him in a heartbeat and not care about it because you know he he's not flashy but they got to line up and put someone behind Dak and right now that's someone's Rico D remember last year when he was coming in a little bit he did look good like he's a serviceable player I think his Goofy name makes people look down on him it's the same thought I was going to jump in when you guys were talking about Brian Thomas Brian Thomas has an insanely boring name so people look at like whatever tank Dell is cool that's a flashy ass name right I if I don't know let's say you could argue the whole Jaguars receiver room is some the most boring named Christian Kirk Gabe Davis Trevor law yeah just you know you got uh a bunch of guys with two first led college football in in touchdowns you know he can score they don't need him to roam the middle of the field they've got uh Christian Kirk they got Ingram to do that just run deep you and Gabe Davis you're gonna be running wind Sprints all season long and then just let Trevor Lawrence air it out and then you know they'll come through once in a blue moon but hey when they do it's a big week for your team but yeah for Uncle Rico until they sign somebody else I mean I think he's just GNA be the the best of of what's around you know quote old Dave Matthews song because they don't have anything else he's like who could they sign really when the lights come on P Ryan is probably the onlyin cook dvin Dusty cook is not I mean if they signed dvin cook that should make you Rico you know owners like myself and Brian even more happier because we're not worried about dvin cook like there's a reason P r's bouncing around a bunch of teams because yeah you can pass protect a little bit you can catch some out of the back field but you know no one's getting excited to scheme up plays for samj perine there's there's no young player at all behind there that has any juice like Duce Swan like that stop that you know there's nobody there's nobody there that you're worried about you know if Dallas hasn't made a trade yet they're probably not going to do it a week before the season starts like I always thought hey Roshan Johnson CLE Herbert made a lot of sense guys like that but they have done nothing so it's Rico to the moon for me they can't pay anybody else you know Jerry Jones is so screwed that they they got to find a way to to cut corners and it's right now it's going to be at the running back position I gotta pull up Rico's contract here oh my Lord guy makes one uh his base salary is $1 million his cap hit is 1.2 I he makes nothing he's the perfect running back for this team that has no money as we'd all say to be a job where people are talking about you making a million bucks and saying man he makes nothing seriously what AAG I mean you even look at it like the I always look at like the practice squad players I think they're making like 600k or something like that a year just to be on the practice it's crazy a lot of money to be a professional athlete um T I gotta talk to we already talked about Team Four a lot with their bully tight end build they they go conc Ingram Ferguson we were int intrigued to see how they build it out since then they've gone Christian Kirk jsn jayen Reed and really two the guys I want to focus on here are two really interesting running back names Jerome Ford who obviously Alex Keon helped us out in the chat said while Deontay Foreman is maybe expected back in Cleveland it seems as though with Nick chub going on the pus missing uh a minimum four weeks it will be the Jerome Ford show and then chuba hubber the same Jonathan Brooks is missing the first four weeks both of these guys had really good specifically for but chuba two down the stretch had some good moments they're in run heavy offenses what do you make about Ford and then let's just focus on Ford for now turp because we've discussed chuba prior let's say what are your thoughts on the chub news how it impacts Ford and then teams for build going with Ford and chuba I mean in my opinion Ford should be going a little bit higher I'm not saying you know people are still obviously worried about chub when he comes back he's not going to just not get the you know a lot of the work but it could take a while and he's coming off one of the worst injuries we've seen seen in a while at the running back position Ford is going to be the guy you know they just cut foreman and I know there's rumors that they're going to bring him back but it's not really an exciting thing Pierre Strong's there but like another one that's not like really excited about it so to me Ford in that offense I mean he's going to be your rb2 with you know Rashad white for could be six seven eight weeks and you know with the with the regular season in the ffpc I mean that's going to be very very good for you on a team that we know is going to run the football and he's going to get some passing game work there's a lot of things to like about Jerome Ford I mean and hubard same thing I mean we saw what Rashad white did under Canalis you know is hubard as talented as Rashad white I don't know I mean he's probably not but he's still gonna get a ton of work we're not worried about my Sanders and like Brian said if you're betting against Brian if you're betting against Jonathan Brooks you should be betting on chah hubard because where he's being drafted it's at a spot where he's very cheap you could easily plug him in if you're starting off beon mcaffrey Hall with those first picks is your rb2 and stack the rest of your team and be really really good for the first couple weeks and then just you know figure it out after that so like both picks again they're more they're more guys that I don't know if I love like in the money rounds type of situation but you got to get there first and both of those two players are two players that can get you there yeah I look at Ford's very replaceable H you know he had five receiving touchdowns last year which there's no way they come back and he gets that this year his biggest issue last year was he couldn't score he had you know they would always pull him right around the goal line and he only had four rushing touchdowns but if you also look after week 10 he didn't have any games over 65 rushing yards so I don't know if they can give him enough carries he kind of breaks down like you see early in the season they were giv him 15 16 carries you know there were points in the middle of the season they were like all right here's nine carries here's eight carries I don't know if he can be the Bel at they're definitely gonna have to get somebody else involved in Cleveland it the and also it's like what is that new Cleveland offense gonna even look like we don't really know obviously they brought in Kor there's a lot of questions with DeShaun Watson right now I mean yeah what's it he like beyond anything about just is he good which is increasingly looking like he is just fall off anymore either he's hurt like he he's banged up they're shopping jamus who knows what's going to come of that a very weird situation although could be a disaster this year if everything if everything goes wrong with Watson because they Shi jamus out of there which everybody loves everybody wants to see jamus get a chance to such a likable guy but Tyler Huntley you know I forget the other quarterback that they Dorian Thompson Robinson nobody yeah nobody is excited about him in helping fantasy players win so they're betting a ton That season it's probably one of the riskier spots right now because they have a lot of guys in there that Amari Cooper you know David nooku guys like that that are going high in drafts that they're definitely we would much prefer if something happens to Washington Jameson Winston be chucking on the ball than any of those other guys if you want if you want to get your fix of jamus Winston just draft will Levis it's the same experience jamus is that will lvis is this year's Jordan love I've said it since day one and I'm not backing off it will Levis will be Jordan love this year people hated Jordan love last year people you know a lot more smart people that I paid attention to this year on will Levis but I've been beating that drum since day one and I'm not backing off it will Levis will be this year's Jordan love Brian this 11th round that just happened depending on who you talk to a lot of these running backs who were drafted are names I us say like every at least for the most part A lot of these names in the running backs or guys who people have told us like I I love him I think he can be a League winner this is a great value pick out of this 11th round JK Dobbins Trey Benson Jaylen Wright Ray Davis Jalia mcclaflin Ty Chandler and Tyler alergo and I'll include even Marshon Lloyd here at the 123 out of all those names there's one call to you are you higher on one than most do you think any of them have that like League winning upside and potential well I mean Tyler aler if bejan gets hurt yes because then it's his role some of these other guys you know they could just assume some part of the role of the offense I mean I don't think mlin ever takes over they would even if if javante went down I don't think they give the full load to him Ray Davis as big of a bowling ball as he is is he going to score enough touchdowns with Josh Allen there as the goal line back Jaylen Wright you know we know they've got multiple running backs there already Trey Benson that's it we know that Conor never stays healthy he's a good-looking Prospect Trey Benson could be a guy it's just a matter of is that Arizona offensive line any good uh because you know he could be really that League winner and and Dobbins I mean I've always loved JK Dobbins I got a blind spot for him I'll probably draft him on some teams this year this week uh but you know he just can't stay healthy but so I kind of feel bad for him I think of all those names you Trey Benson really kind of sticks out to me what about you guys and Trey Benson had the really horrendous preseason debut but then kind of redeemed himself and looked way better in his next couple I'm a ray Davis guy that is my that's my Kentucky homerism hey um but I also think he's a really good running back and I think what most impressed me and again this is all basis I watched him every snap he played at Kentucky last year and even a couple games when he was in the SEC at Vandy a way better pass catcher than I ever anticipated I believe he had something like seven eight receiving touchdowns last year I'm not and part of that is I'm not a James Cook guy I think James Cook has a little too much inconsistencies for me Ray Davis has already had a strong preseason showing and has even had some run with the the first team Ray Davis is the guy I'm targeting late also I've mentioned before I really like I don't think team 10 did it I really do like pairing Aaron Jones and Tai Chandler together it's one of the few like double UPS to the same backfield that I'm fine doing because I like both of those players and Aaron Jones with his known injury history is just not going to stay healthy it's just kind of a fact and I think Tai Chandler could step up into a nice role TP what about you there's three guys I mean alir I'm gonna keep him off this list right now because we don't ever want to hear the word bejan Robinson an injury but that's the truth what Brian said but the three guys I like he talked about Trey Benson he said it pretty much perfectly you got good news today with Michael Carter being cut that's just another body that's not there just messing things up and James Conor we all know injuries you know are part of you know his you know season is much as we love the player um Tai Chandler is one of my highest known players I'm not a believer in Aaron Jones you know I'm not saying I won't draft him because he does have you know tremendous upside but he's also a guy that likes to get hurt and I think Minnesota's gonna be really bad and if Minnesota's really bad Tai Chandler is a guy that's G we saw at the end of last year he's definitely a guy that's going to be in there at the end you know he seems like he's having a good camp I think he's going to be more of a 6040 on the opp on the wrong end guy but that's fine as a handcuff if something happens to Chandler I feel like Ty Chandler is a guy that I want to own and I'm still not giving up on Marshon Lloyd yeah he's probably gonna open the season on the pup list but he was my favorite running back coming out of this draft and I'm sticking by it injuries have definitely derailed him early but with the AJ AJ AJ Dylan news today if they don't add anybody that's the best news you can get as being a Marshon Lloyd owner because it gives me you know when it comes down to the end of the season where he's being drafted I can store him a little bit on some of these teams and and hopefully he comes back sooner rather than later and gets a role and then that role expands as the season goes on so I like Maran Lloyd uh my favorite though is Ty Chandler it's just we kind of talked about if you're going to on running back it feels as though what we just saw that rounds 11 through 12 that's where you're going to have to hit on those are the guys who there's going to be a couple of guys who emerg as top 20 backs out of these running backs who were drafted starting with JK dobins through Bucky Irving those are the ones that you're goingon to have to hit on Brian I gotta ask you we we talk a lot on this show and because we like it because the guests the answers always change right but some of these complicated wide receiver rooms talk about Houston a lot we talk about Chicago Green Bay may be the most confusing of them all so I got to ask you between Christian Watson Jaden Reed Romeo doser Davian Wicks who is your Green Bay receiver that you're targeting or or or maybe highest on the answer is Jordan love just draft him don't worry about the other guys that's music that TPS ears yeah Ian that's really the answer because you're gonna get screwed either way there's not enough balls to go around there's no way all these guys can be consistent on a week- toe basis they're going to drive you crazy Maybe Jaden Reed runs the ball a little bit more they use them a little more Debo is now that they've got some you know maybe some carries to fill in the back field um I like Watson I think he's the most talented guy I'm not on this Wick train like there's a reason you're the fourth receiver on the team like enough of that nonsense but uh I think if anybody could earn some targets and have League winner type weeks it could be Watson but we saw Jaden Reed produced week in and week out for this team down the stretch last year uh my buddy Drew Davenport had a great tweet about from like week three on he was like a top five wide receiver or something like that but and now drafts hate him just completely it's just there's too many guys there that's why I just I kind of just turned my head talked you haven't even talked it would be interesting if Romeo dos was not there because he's not a guy that I don't think I draft I don't think many people are excited about drafting but you know he's annoying enough to be on the field all the time so he's taking STS away he's taking Snaps away from Watson he's taking Snaps away from Reed if he wasn't on that team these two players would be way higher in drafts but with do there and just being that annoying pest it's going to make you know Watson and Reit I I I put it out a tweet today there's certain guys that are just being ignored in drafts I don't hear a single word about Jane Marie lately nobody talks about him I said Z flowers there's two guys that like not a soul talks about and any I listen to pretty much a podcast today different sites and just listening what guys are saying and listen to who guys are targeting and nobody says those two players names and it's very surprising because those two players were two of the hottest players at the end of the season last year and now they're being pretty much ignored in drafts so flowers oh I hate him everybody hates him nobody's talking about him and he's still where did he go on this draft at the you know fifth round it's I will I will say I think it it is what Brian said it's just the amount of weapons there and your inability to decipher especially in a managed leag that you have to as turp always says click the button who knows what it's gonna be right one week Watson week you you plug him in and then all a sudden it's it's the jayen Reed week I will say jayen Reed literally won someone a million dollars last year te orgman sure did Jaden Reed in the first half of that Minnesota game uh sealed the deal so he'll he'll always have that on his leg that he helped someone win the ffbc main event uh Brian kamani the doll I mean he was dead like two weeks ago it was undraftable by some people and then in two weeks he's revived everything looked good in the last preseason game it was overblown I think people ran with a single beat reporter's prediction kind of it almost became fact and what really was was he's been he's been banged up which isn't great uh and that was kind of contributing to Mis practice and led to maybe this certain position on the team but he's made the team it was Isaiah Spiller getting cut with Jay toins injury history with Gus Edwards being Gus Edwards kammani Vidal a pick you like here in like the 13th 14th round which is where he's been going is maybe he can emerge as the Chargers rb1 and a a run heavy offense we know what they want to do in this Greg Roman scheme and I'm gonna sound like a really big douchebag here but I did a podcast with leanian Tomlinson a couple of weeks ago that's pretty sick pretty awesome it sounds pretty pretty lame when you just crowbar that in but I was talking to LT and he talked about Vidal specifically and he goes this kid can play he goes don't be surprised if he's not you know leading this team and Carries down the stretch uh and you know me and John Hansen kind of perked up we like okay yeah like that's what we're waiting to hear because again look at Gus Edwards like are are we another guy with a terrible name if Gus Edward wasn't like the Gus bus if his name was like the nickname's good the Gus bus is a good nickname yeah I don't know if you had to flash your first name Gus is terrible it sounds like your your old name but um yeah he's just a guy he's nothing in the pass game that's why I always like Dobbins like Dobbins can catch the ball a little bit he's got more wiggle if Dobbins is healthy Dobbins is leading this back field like remember all those years they were in Baltimore Dobbins was the lead back Gus Edwards was the back now all of a sudden it's flipped because you know we haven't seen Dobbins in a few years but Dobbins is way more talented than Gus Edwards Gus Edwards is the definition of like just a guy three yards he'll get you 2.9 that's what you're gonna get out of Gus Edwards the uh the thing about LT I have to say is I'm I'm I'm only 24 the the coolest thing when I was in elementary school in like the late 2000s if you had the powder powder blue leanian tomson jersey that was the coolest possible thing you could wear in elementary school still is one of the coolest things you could wear it's one of the best Jers of all time allely all time that should be their everyday I think it is now right they have the powder blues all the time yeah they they went back to the powder blues yeah they never should have left San you play in a league with a bunch of like 12y olds who have no idea what they're doing or a family league with like your grandma and they always end up winning knowing absolutely nothing because we over barely even put lineups in most of the time they just like leave the lineup they started with and they just figure it out yeah I can remember my first fantasy dress I remember vividly like my lead makes at like I was probably like 910 and I remember all my league mates were similar to that just it didn't matter and I was over there on my way to Bec working in the fantasy industry talking about like I love my 16th round pick rash Shad Jennings I was so in on him with the Jaguars and I was like this guy's gonna be great amounted to absolutely nothing Zer that that's neither here nor there back to the draft I gotta ask about you mentioned Tyler alir and I won't say it but there's a Avenue in which he could have really good value there the same case appli to brillan Allen almost two rounds later in your eyes sure that dude's a freak I mean 20 years old Ran in a big you know Pro style offense at Wisconsin he's a man that's a big dude I wouldn't want to try to tackle him uh if he gets on the field for the Jets is he as multi-dimensional as Bree Hall no probably not but you know with that the they're going to run a real slow pace by the way also with the Jets that's what Aaron Rogers likes to do it's going to be slow and methodical um and and the Jets have two guys going in the first round and they're going to run one of the slowest Pace offense in the league so yeah if if something happens to Bree Hall like brillan Allen is just knocking down doors to get people into the finals TP I gotta ask you we've mentioned him a couple of times in the in the last two weeks on these shows Jan doson is now a Philadelphia Eagle Luke mcaffrey the last couple days even with the trade is going at to 161 he goes at the where is it 14 I've completely lost it where Luke mcff the 1402 1402 so almost three rounds pushed up is that reasonable again I'm never opposed to this in the 14th round because you know you're taking your D throws you can cut them if not in your eyes TP and then Brown I want to get your thoughts on this too what is that Dotson trade what's the impact there on that Commander wide receiver two room the Commander's offense which is going to be like ton of plays they're going to be running the the the pace of play from them is going to be off the chart and someone's got to be catching passes is this a bigger I'll ask this Turf is like Dotson's trade a bigger boost for maybe a guy like Ben sonat that he could appear more or is Luke mcaffrey a guy who that people should be targeting as a late round Darth thr early season I think it's a benefit to Zack hers I mean Zack Herz is definitely getting up there in age he's definitely not a guy that I think is gonna make it through the season I like Ben son a little bit more long you know long term down the road but Ur is going to get a ton of targets early you know Kingsbury had one of his best seasons under him you know outside of His Glory Days in Philadelphia but he's a guy that's gonna get a lot of targets because of this Luke mcaffrey is worth a speculation in in the 14th round you know do I think this pick could turn into a compl complete waste could but if Jaden Daniels turns into what most people think he's going to an elite NFL quarterback and if that happens sooner rather than later you know somebody in this offense is going to be very very good besides the top two you know obviously you know Daniels Terry mclen and Zack hers as of now brown we kind of know what he is you know he has you know some sort of you know NFL chops but nothing that we're really excited about mcaffrey had a lot of positive press coming into Washington but it's kind of slowed a little bit but it's worth a shot I mean if you're you know taking a shot on your wide receiver seven or wide receiver eight you know why not you know you you you could get do way way worse than Luke mcaffrey in this spot so I don't mind it um but he's also a guy he could be cutting in two weeks it's all relative when you're drafting the 14th round Brian any any thoughts on Luke mcaffrey or just in general that Commander's kind of second receiving uh option sure I mean the guy everyone should have drafted there is Jaylen McMillan because he's gonna play damn near every snap for Tampa B and he's he's a baller but outside of that uh let's look at what Jaden Daniels ad dot was the first two weeks this is my guy Zack Krueger put this out on Twitter he had all the rookie firstr quarterbacks and some stats about him Jaden Daniels average depth of Target was 5.5 that is by far the smallest of of any uh rookie quarterback it to compare Caleb Williams was 11.9 even bone Knicks in you know the the little Dink and dunk offense Shawn pyton runs with 7.3 so what does that mean well like you mentioned Zack her's gonna have a big year Austin eckar I think is gonna catch a ton of balls I like Brian Robinson because in this offense you know the lead running back always seems to do well uh zakus Crowder whichever one of those guys gets on the field and McLaren's Never Gonna Leave the field he's just GNA stand on one side and you know run routes like DeAndre Hopkins did for Cliff kingsburry so I don't know I I I don't really see a lot of volume for a guy like uh um you know mcaffrey but again this late in the draft who gives a [ __ ] you're just you're throwing thoughts at the wall so you must have been on my brain wave my very next question was going to be about Jaylen McMillan he's obviously received a lot of Buzz uh the ship chasing guys have been all over him been seeing a lot of experts uh uh hyping up can you maybe explain for those who aren't as familiar with mcmillon and kind of his late rise that he's had why he's getting pushed up draft boards with about a week to go the season kicks off yeah because if they're going to play a lot of 11 personnel in Tampa Bay he's on the field all the time he doesn't come off he starts for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the other two receivers there who while they're also on the field are getting up there in AIDS they old so if something would ever happen to Mike Evans something would ever happen more specifically to Chris Godwin uh you know now we're really cooking with gas but it's just highlight after highlight after highlight uh and Tampa Bay's defense I don't think is going to be great uh Tampa let's be Tampa Bay was a fraud last year okay and they got G they got gifted a win in the playoffs because the Eagles quit and it locked him into give him Baker Mayfield a contract uh but that that's not a good team in Tampa Bay it's not I don't care that they made in won a playoff game they're not a good team um a lot of bad teams win playoff games in the NFL for whatever reason H but jayen McMillan's really good player and I think if you get him in Dynasty I think you're going to be happy with him and this year I mean what do we get him the 15th round here uh he's going to be starting for this team for half the season Once we see what he really can do TP another name perar 99 mentioned him in the chat with kind of with our Luke mcaffrey the high ankle sprain was not good and it was a real Downer who knows when he's going to be ready who knows when he's going to be back to 100% might take a bit even if he returns to the playing field he might not be in in the best game shape but Josh DS now that 14th 15th round he was looking like the best receiver in Colts Camp had a really promising rookie season the touchdowns weren't there but he had some big games and he seemed very reliable I was a huge fan of his coming out of North Carolina he was one of my favorite late round Dart throws he's getting to the territory because of the high ankle spring where he's almost getting drafted similar to where he was last year in a point which was like the 167 it's not too far off I would be gobbling up Josh Down's shares right now in this 14th 15th round knowing that maybe he'll sit on my bench for a couple weeks as he works his way back from a high ankle sprain but this is a dude that once healthy I think is due for a really productive year I think Josh DS is more of a baseball player for me at least when you're in these manag leagues like the fantasy pros in the main event I feel like it's a lot more of a more difficult pick I mean Pitman obviously has a draft Capital he's goingon to be going a lot earlier in these drafts am I the biggest Michael Pitman fan no but it also comes back to do you believe in Anthony Richardson you do you believe he's just a you know sporadic throwing quarterback with obviously unlimited running upside you know do you believe Anthony richon could take that next step as a thrower that's always been the question that's surrounding him obviously besides his health I don't know if I believe in that yet I believe in Anthony richen the player the fantasy player and all that stuff but you know as a quarterback do I believe he can light it up and and throw for 300 plus yards every game or or get you know a a a Target like Josh DS enough to where I'm gonna ever say I'm gonna click that button and be confident about it I don't know I feel like like Brian said a guy like jayen McMillan's way better click for me personally um and there's other guys that are going this range that that I would just click probably over Josh DS the best ball totally different because he's definitely a guy to me that can have massive Spike weeks and you're getting him pretty much free in drafts because you know obviously you get the injury to start off I got to got to talk about steel here going in the 15th round really exciting preseason player was a fun player in college Brian is this kind of we we do it in fantasy football every year sometimes we buy into these guys who have good preseason and it amounts to nothing again 15th round by no means am I knocking the pck it's not it's nothing to do with that a worse you cut them in a couple weeks the question is more phrases like will Carson steel have an impact this season obviously a PCO injury would certainly clear the door but let's say peo stays healthy is Carson Ste doing anything or is this a guy who maybe were buying a little too much preseason buzz on no if P's healthy you never hear his name again but you know he's playing on special teams but if Pacho gets hurt something happens to him Carson steel is is like the you know the Lesser he's like the NWO version of of of Isaiah peo like you know remember they had the NWO sting for you wrestling fans out there you're like big wrestling fan right here but it's it's not the same guy you know uh yeah like he can run hard again they run this gimmick offense out here in Kansas City Mahomes is throwing balls behind his back they got 800 receivers out here it's motion all over the place no one's paying attention to Carson steel if he had to start for a couple of weeks Carson steel would be a top 12 running back because I guarantee they'd find ways to get him into the end zone and he would just break off long runs because he's facing the lightest boxes in history yeah and peo I'm just pulled it up P's injury history is I mean he runs the ball hard man and and if they don't have shoulder again hand fracture C we don't know I mean he's he's having issues so if Carson steel I've been drafting him a lot lately and you always take that risk of especially like in baseball or even these leagues you take this guy and he gets cut it's just like all right you I got to wave my waisted a roster spot that I could have put on somebody else but now he's going to start moving up draft boards because it seems like he clearly made the team I don't think you know based off any re's history that he would cut a player like this even if they add somebody it seems like he's a guy that's GNA stay so he's definitely a guy that I think is a priority Target right now as as a handcuff or or a guy that you're drafting taking some shots on because he's still free in drafts 15th round I mean you you could possibly get a guy like Brian said that could be on the best offensive football and could be a you know 60% Isaiah Cho 70% Isaiah pcho that Andy Reid will always figure out a way to get the ball and they could be in a ton of positive game scripts this year right you know in that division who's atrocious so you get a guy like Carson steel have something more to happen to the check out why not so Brian we had briefly mentioned Z flower's name and I just seen Rashad baitman here in the 16th and Rashad baitman obviously had all this coach speak Buzz didn't really ever amount to a significant rise in his draft cost but this question is for you is Ravens are really interesting offense to try and figure out and obviously it's going to be nice to see that opening Thursday night when if you play in the ffbc you'll have the free look we can kind of see how they look against the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs what what is your outlook on Ravens receivers or are you staying away from them due to maybe a run heavy derck Henry LED Lamar Jackson Leed rushing attack that is maybe going to suppress them but Mark Andrews is going in the top three round Z flowers is pretty commonly within the top five rounds you see Rashad baitman as a late Dart throw Isaiah likele has been moving up what what are your thoughts on that Ravens receiving room yeah I don't love flowers and anytime I can talk badly about them I I I typically do uh you know he finished last year he was you know what wide receiver 30 averaging just under 13 points a game you know there was a point during the year where he was kind of killing you he's like oh my god the guy you know he's never really having big weeks from where you drafted him and then he has a couple really you know baller games at the end in the championship weeks you know uh 22 points in week 16 19 points in week 17 Again scored one point for you what is this week 15 uh so it didn't really help you but again what the problem with him is the average depth of Target is so low it's basically a handoff when he was coming of Boston College he was like this shot play guy all the highlights of him on the draft are him catching all these bombs down the field and that's really not how they use him in Baltimore he was just screen passes it's all screens that's the only way they're getting the ball in hand they're extended handoffs now you got mark andrews's back we're talking about more 12 personnel with Isaiah likely baitman is finally back in healthy so there's a lot more miles defeat it's not just the corpse of Odell Beckham and whoever else they were trotting out last year like I don't know I just unless they start throwing the ball to him more down downfield like I'm I'd rather have any of the guys going around him like where was he in this draft like let's talk about some of the guys going around him would you rather have those players with theide I I'll quickly scroll up so he went in the fifth round at the 501 Higgins Ridley goty Godwin Dell McLaren johnon deow T Higgins with Joe burrow in t hiin contract year when he's about to be a free agent after this my God guy's gonna try to score 15 touchdowns this year like yeah give me him over extended handoff Z flowers all day I didn't even notice until we look back on it that taks felt around to 604 just shows that that Houston receiver room every draft is completely different it's they completely like change it up but Nico has solidified themselves as the first guy but man Diggs and Dell are all over the place t a question for you we always talk about the big names having big Thursday or in this case Friday games that impacts ADP of the drafts the next day Kyle Trace like what if Rashad baitman goes for a couple touchdowns and like a 100 yards on five catches Thursday how how much does he get boosted up let's say what if he actually fulfills the positive press and hype that he was receiving in training camp I love the Thursday game and I love the F obviously the Friday game is great I love them when they shoot out if they don't shoot out they kind of like make the Friday draft not as you know juicy I guess you could say but if you get a guy like Rashad baitman who goes let's just say seven for 80 and two TDS likely no but if he does you're talking about a guy that put up quick math in my head 27 fantasy points that's going in the where is he going 16 1673 27 points will get him to in my opinion to move all the way up in like the six seventh round range wow because people will want those guaranteed points and you might say I'm crazy but every you if this game shoots out let's just say it shoots out if it shoots out it's probably going to be Mahomes and Jackson yeah that's usually how you get there so all the guys with them worthy rice let's just say they I'm just saying B baitman even with a big game i' he's I think you see about like a four to five round jum you're saying a guy with 27 fantasy points gonna go in in a $2,000 league in a 12th round no chance I think so chance no chance if he goes for 20 points he's guaranteed in the top eight rounds guaranteed some will waste a pick on him potentially just to get those week one points they're they're very valuable I I'm not saying I would ever do it I wouldn't but I'm just I would just pray that the guy next to me that I play week one doesn't do it because you see it every year like last year nobody got there our guy Jake Jake's in the chat making a good point is I also underes I am maybe underestimating that one all it takes is one owner per draft to be like just give me the points or who maybe was a believer in baitman and then that reir let's say Xavier worthy or rashed Rice go for like 25 plus I me that's different that's different well but rice is going in the second round he might go at the one-w turn yeah no the the the the Chiefs receivers if specifically worthy or Rice have blowup games we've discussed this Brian we'll ask you because me and turp had this conversation last week is there a name if you're playing in the fantasy first championship the main event where you know you have a free look is there a name let's say you're you're drafting that Saturday is there a name that you're most intrigued to watch how they do either good or bad which name I want to see how Dallas goddard's used uh in that Friday game um and you know if he can become a viable part of this Eagles passing offense we know the talent is there he's a very talented pass catcher but but just the schemes that they've run and Jaylen her's not throwing the ball over the field imagine if Dallas Goddard comes out and catches I don't know six balls for 80 and scores a touchdown what's he do in a format like this the next day he flies up he flies up let's say both of those games shoot out it's probably not could you imagine what that Saturday draft would look like crazy I couldn't imagine always I always with the Saturday draft right now I'm always holding a slot open of one of my either main events or fantasy pros that I'm entering just to be I'm already registered for one on Saturday because if worse comes the worse they they both shoot if they don't shoot at at all I still think you're gonna have a bunch of different rosters and if you're doing from a game theory you know perspective you're GNA have rosters both ways that will be different from everybody else compared to all these teams that have drafted already it makes a ton of sense to take some shots with these because if all the game shoot out you could be talking about AJ Brown number one overall you could be talking about you know Mark Andrews top five overall guys like that that just to get those 25 to 30 pick points to start off we remember when pton Manning did it pton Manning went number one overall in so many of these live drafts were these main events that have been online and how many Payton Manning teams made it to the championship even with the season they put out not many because you know it's just very unlikely but you it remember when the Dallas game shot at Amari Cooper got pushed all the way up into you know the end of the first I think it was there's even there's even games that aren't great like two years ago the the bills Rams game was a was a blowout but I mean Diggs and Allen both got digs and Allen both got there correct and it's also interesting because you the flip side of this is also it's always fun to see maybe not fun if if you own them but seeing how negative performances impact we saw where does Kelsey go if Kelsey goes like One for 15 in this game which is very possible with Travis Kelce like Andrew go if he goes one for 15 yeah he's still he's still winning Fantasy players or not go to Taylor Swifts and it's one of my funnest one of the things I enjoy the most on the ffpc drafting live in Vegas and drafting like in the fantasy pros and Main Event and all that stuff after the Thursday game and now after the Friday game it just gives you just so much crazy C your boy perfect example you remember C had that Thursday night nuts and he people were people were drafting him number one overall the next day number two overall I mean I gotta get out there you see absolute craziness if these games shoot out you will see those Saturday draft just pop it off of Just craziness it doesn't matter if you're an experienced owner or an owner who has drafted one or two of these to me those drafts could be so positive this year if if things work out and you can just avoid the pitfalls of being down like 100 to nothing week one it could be wild I mean this year more than any Brian is because we've never experienced T myself four teams not just four teams four Elite offensive teams three really three of the top quarterbacks in the league and one who just got paid to be the top quarterback yeah so it's fascinating and these drafts we don't know the some of these live drafts we go from our Ballroom where we have our massive Thursday watch party which is just free for ffpc players if you're you're in the main event you're in the live drafts uh you can come in free of charge bring a guest free of charge those that that is packed I'll come hang out with you and Dr some lights or something that room is packed but from that room people just file over right as soon as the game ends and drafts are starting one of them drafts are starting right then so it's like you literally see the ADP change 20 minutes after the game ends and you also mix in Hollywood oh okay cool cool cool yeah yeah so it's going to be here before know one week Baron Knuckles draft probably one of those funnest you know the you know what the bare knuckle challenge is is that the one where you can't have any sheets or computers you gu 2 28 rounds 28 rounds all mind just nothing in front of them no one can talk around them like the the audience that watches is quiet last year we had a bunch of drunk people that were like running around the outside and these guys get real mad because it's hard enough to these drafts like in silence let alone somebody just yelling babbling players out behind you I I just did a draft in Canton at the fantasy football Expo and it was 14 teams all experts you know it's like Jeff uh Jeff Richards in there or Dave Richards Jeff Radcliffe Bob Harris uh Jeff Jim Coventry all kinds of good guys JJ zachar good good crew of guys everybody's got their laptop open doing the draft I got a piece of paper I'm just crossing names off like a I'm kind of the same way anymore like I I just like the paper I don't know what it is like I'm old school when it comes to that I'll still have the computer just in case but most of the stuff I just scratch down and just it's just old SCH I don't need the computer tell me who to draft that's the fun of fantasy Yeah by this time as many drafts that we've done you know who to draft and if you don't you need you need one paper cheat sheet in front of you just to make sure you're not having a brain to a brain fart here Jake vanetti in the chat mentions 2017 creb hunt I'm sure there's not maybe so last year last year was a buzz kill to everything because the big the biggest thing last year was Gibb's like oh Gibbs what they didn't use him that sucks and he dropped there was literally nothing else everything else Brown was okay leaport you start you started to see the flashes so like if you had a ton of there a little boost really problem is these there's no preseason anymore so really the first four weeks of the NFL season or the new preseason and the NFL uh they don't really care cuz you're watching anyway but these offenses are just trying to find their legs for a month slower yeah it's just because obviously two as again two years ago the bills did see a bump like the bills had a they blew him out so I mean even Gabe Davis who like the underlying stuff was not great with Gabe Davis that game we already saw but he had the touchdown catch so he got boosted up a bit Yeah but people loves those free points you see defenses you see kickers like yeah Lions defense was the big Riser from last year but no I want to see we need to see at least one of these games like aoout like a big I want like a 35 to 27 game just to go after after that game and draft and draft the next morning just to see like where this craziness goes in because it's just it just sounds great if it all but obviously if the games are 17 10 or you know 23 13 probably not getting there but still even with that you're going to see a bunch of guys fall that hey if you're drafting number one like myself and Kelsey and Andrews and all those guys just flop and do nothing I could be building my number one overall pick with potential Kelsey and Andrew's falling to me in the two three turn it it gives you a lot of different teams that are different than everybody else that's why I love it so much because no matter what happens Something's Gonna Go to you know in my opinion the guy who won it last year drafted right after the Thursday night game last year on a main event draft and I gotta say as I think TP you said Chiefs receivers are who your most focused on I think mine I like Packers do I like Brian I like the Dallas SCD answerer I do like that especially in the tight end premium I I'm still leaning derck Henry because I think a derck Henry bad game would be a dramatic fall and Derrick Henry does a a throwback like you know 100 yard and a couple touchdowns that's all of a sudden he's getting pushed I'm hoping for that I'm hoping for a Derk Henry old school just give me 20 plus fantasy points get him up there in that second round you know mid mid to early second round that just pushes another player down that's a little bit more exciting to me not that I don't like Derrick Henry because I do have shares but guys I got to say 19th round three of my favorite picks back to back to back here please van Jefferson the number two receiver for the Steelers absolute steel Demarcus Robinson is GNA play in all 11 personnel set for for the Rams and Greg dorge starting slot receiver for Arizona these are three guys who in a PPR you could get like great weeks out of get them in the 19th round excellent picks by those drafters uh Brian Jordan Winnington not a concern for you with Demarcus Robinson I got him on a roster or two uh for sure here you mentioned Jord Winnington a vast Web Shield pops up that a web threat has been secured I don't know if that's a sign or what but something tried to attack my computer when you mentioned his name you you gotta add more yeah right like so um I don't know I mean could he be the next puka AA maybe does he need to get on the field more yeah could be uh but I mean is but then again Robinson is easily replaceable uh but he's a 19th round pick so if he's out on the field yeah God bless you uh one more question for you Brian and then our draft be done and it is I have I I've told turp this is my non-medical theory is that cam Acres you know when you have the achil the Achilles tear you lose like mass in the leg he tears the other one now his legs are even again and that's that's why he looks good great thought process that's beyond that I think process with uh with what's his nuts there uh Brooks you didn't draft cam Acres last year you get him this year when he's finally healthy here's my thing with Cam makers I'm not a Joe Mixon guy Joe Mixon has been more and more in effective each year has been already banged up a lot in the preseason C makers looks good Damen Pierce is nothing car makers has been slowly climbing up boards he goes at the 1712 maybe my our last question for you I'm going to leave off on is what do you make of that Texans backfield everyone talks about the Texans receivers what about that running back room they're gonna have a ton of positive game strip in the second half of games whoever's healthy and they're giving a ball to you want them on your fantasy team uh it's GNA start out with Mixon but you know like you said if he can't stay healthy and he's getting a little older there a reason cincin well there's a lot of reasons many of them off the field another story uh they want to get rid of him and uh you know it's not a bad pick trust me I'm going to have some shares of Cam Acres on some teams I draft this weekend 20th round Justin Herbert is wild yeah the quarterbacks in this whole draft just I mean Lamar Jack I mean you're taking Gino Smith and Baker over Justin Herbert I I get it but no I mean you're talking about a team that I know they want to run the ball ton but are they ever going to be in a game script that where they can run the ball ton they're not a good football team they don't have any weapons on the offensive side of the ball their defense is not good and they have to play Patrick Mahomes twice like where is Justin Herbert in the 20th round gez like that that's disgraceful Brian I gotta I gotta we we need you because this was a great show we appreciate you so much for having out but please tell WrestleMania and Philly man nice oh I asked him about that I go how cold was it out there I was in a box talking do stadiums why you want a dome because you can get Mania and blah blah blah uh and he goes it wasn't that cold for the wrestlers he goes the the worst part was when they picked the ladders up cuz the ladders have just been sitting under the ring all day and they're freezing cold so he grab those you're like whoa hey these are just Frozen pieces of aluminum or whatever but yeah Miz those guys are warriors no that that that in UFC another one UFC fighters have a lot of fantasy football overlap it's just you know funny thing I love pro wrestling I hate the UFC you P me to watch it really no surprising interesting there's no flare there's no there's no story you know there was flare wor McGregor kind of slowed down there has I will say we're not going to get into this cuz we should wrap up but the thing with the UFC is unlike even boxing to a sense where boxing has its own issues but they embrace the flare and and the the drama and the Charisma and UFC they run it way more businesslike and just they got a lot of boring Fighters yeah there's not many Conor McGregor
