[Music] welcome to the Saturday August 31st episode of stacks on deck I'm your host Walter and this is Bray Birds DFS it's one of the best places for PGA NFL MLB and NBA news and of course DFS so MLB is getting treated like that friend of a friend because of college football today you know what I'm talking about that person that you would never never contact directly but because they hang out with your friend you're like okay I'll tolerate you and then you know what they're not so bad that is how DraftKings is treating MLB DFS today but it's okay it is the fall we knew this would happen with that being said let's pull up my checklist and we're going to look at six things today we're going to look at the previous day we're going to talk about rain out concerns I'm going to give you my top Stacks top pitchers top hitters and a DK stack build so yesterday from a brave birs perspective it was a good day had a lot of good recommendations my best recommendation was the A's they were the third uh stack I recommended they went out and got nine runs and they had four or five players in most of the winning lineups so if you had that a stack you probably put in Rooker and he did not disappoint with 32.5 fantasy points and then uh the third best pick was all so once again those risky picks a lot of times they don't work out he was owned by 2.49% and the players I said try him out he had a good matchup and he went out there and got 27.1 fantasy points but it was not all good I recommended Kirby he was very expensive and he only got 6.55 fantasy points and judge got zero same thing would win so from a hitter perspective it was not a good Brave Birds day all right so rain out concerns so I have slight concerns against the Brewers going to play the red in Cincinnati according to the National Weather Service most of the rain should be out of there by 5:00 so this uh game should be okay but I had to kind of put a flag on it with slight concerns all right so my top Stacks are definitely going with the A's they have a pretty good matchup the A's have been playing well they have four to six players that have been playing well I mean just a really obvious stack for today I'm dropping the Diamond Backs to number two and then you have the Marlins who have been really sneaky and playing well lately and then the Rockies at home in number four and the Royals who have been just a good hitting team most of the Year all right so top pitchers so I'm going back to the well with Seattle they have a good matchup Kirby had a good match up yesterday didn't work out but I feel better with woo plus you're saving $1,000 and then you have Ragin who doesn't have the the best matchup he doesn't have a terrible matchup Houston's kind of been middling as far as offense over the past week or so uh 9900 so I had to put him at number two for the salary savings um I like woo salary savings over Ragin and then my value pick of the day once again sometime it works out sometime it doesn't but the Giants have not been playing well and Cabrera at 6700 can leave you a lot of flexibility for your lineups all right so top hitters we're going with JJ and I'm not talking about Good Times we're talking about for Oakland at 4200 can save you a lot of salary and then we have Carol seven game hitting streak who is hitting how he hit early last year when he was going up against aun for potentially being the MVP and then speaking of the braids you have Olsen who was sleeping for the first 110 games of the year and decided to wake up and has been mashing yes I know he has a tough matchup today all right let's go over the DraftKings and let's build this uh Oakland uh stack so first of all when you need shoes and you want the maximum discount you got to go to the shoeman so at 2600 you're going to get the value uh he's had two multi-hit games out of the last five with a home run of course I gotta put JJ in there I just said he's one of my hitters I recommend 20 home runs on the year uh has a hitting streak and a home run in back-to-back games we know Butler has been out of his mind with a 46 and 24-point game recently 19 home runs on the year and 12 stolen bases Rooker has 33 home runs uh on the year and three home runs runs in the past five games including that game last night where he ended up in the optimal lineup and then the last who am I going to hear who's that fifth one oh yeah let's find them where is where'd he go I should have done it like this this is a tougher uh way to actually do this and then we have oh Goff gof uh at second base uh 16 home runs on the year and 19 stolen bases including three hits in the past five games with a home run so let me know your thoughts feel free to leave any comments but otherwise go out there and win that guab
