Deshaun Watson: 'I feel like I let my teammates, fans, family down' Deshaun Watson thanked his teammates, other NFL players and fans on Friday for the outpouring of support hes received in the wake of his season-ending ACL injury. Watsons standout rookie season ended Thursday when he went down with a non-contact injury in practice. In a Twitter post, the Texans quarterback said he felt like he let everyone down. Yesterday, I felt like I let my teammates, my fans and my family down, Watson said. However, as a child of God, I understand everything happens for a reason. He DONT make mistakes!. The Houston Chronicle reported Watson will undergo surgery, which should lead to an eight- to nine-month rehab process. Coach Bill OBrien announced Friday that Tom Savage will get the start Sunday at quarterback for the Texans against the Colts. OBrien says he thinks Watson is going to be OK in his recovery.
