New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins is a decent enough complimentary receiver who after an impressive showing in 2022 saw his targets diminish in 2023 to the point where one wondered if he might be in the Giants future plans well they brought him back that's the good news but hodgin who does a lot of the little things well on offense has an uphill battle to stick on this roster first let's talk about his positive attributes he runs Chris R he has reliable hands he's a solid downfield run blocker and he's a big body Target but here's the problem ahead of him on the depth chart figures to be Malik neighbors Darius Slayton wandale Robinson and Jaylen hayatt all of those guys like hodgin barely give the Giants anything on special teams so can the Giants justify keeping hodgin who would technically be their fifth receiver on the roster say over gunar oefi or Isaiah McKenzie both of whom can provide a healthy dose of special team stamps it doesn't look good for hodin who will likely have a place on an NFL roster this year but probably won't be back with the Giants
