Area getting the brunt of this storm along with parts of Hammond in the community of Ponchatoula. Our Matt Doherty is in Covington, Louisiana tonight on the north side of Lake Pontchartrain. Matt, how are conditions holding up there? Yeah, the last time we saw you, we were actually right on the north side of the Lake of Lake Pontchartrain down in Mandeville. Then about two hours ago, they lost power. We decided to head a little ways north up here to Covington where things are getting worse this hour, about half the city is without power and you can see behind me, it's completely shut down this hour and it is raining. This intermittent rain has continued for the past two hours or so. That is to continue and get worse as these streets begin to flood out here. And the eye of this storm is continue to kind of follow our path as well. It should be over the top of us at about 11 o'clock or midnight. And, uh, if not over the top of us just to the west of us, so we still haven't seen the worst of this storm just yet, but we're going to stay on it and stay out here and bring you those images as they come guys, Matt Doherty tonight in Louisiana.
