in this video I'll be covering not one but actually four ways that you can watch Thursday Night Football including how you can watch it for free so the first way is going to be of course with Prime video this is what you'll see mentioned the most in advertising is they have the official rights to Thursday Night Football you can get either a plan that includes Amazon shopping benefits for $14.99 a month or you can get Prime video on its own for $88.99 a month you're signing up for the first time you do get a free trial plus if you're either a student or a person between the ages of 18 and 24 you can also get a young adult membership that gives you a whopping 6 months for free will take you through the entire season so hey not bad to watch the games on Prime video you can either watch them live on Thursday nights or record them to watch later but take note that you do have to opt in to record the season it does not do this automatically a Prime Video subscription will give you access to every Thursday night game as well as the Black Friday game between the Raiders and the Chiefs and one playoff game during the Super Wildcard Weekend in January now on to the second way to watch Thursday night football and this way does not require a paid subscription that's by watching the games on Twitch if you're not familiar with twitch it's an app that's mostly devoted to people live streaming themselves playing video games but also happens to be owned by Amazon every Thursday night football and the Black Friday game and the wild card playoff game will be available to stream for free in the Twitch app for anyone in the United States to watch the games you'll want to navigate to The Prime video channel in the Twitch app or on their website but here's the thing that you should know I've seen some people comment that it restricts you from streaming the games if you're watching on the TV version of the Twitch app requiring you instead to watch on either a computer or a mobile device on the flip side though I've seen some other people say they had no trouble watching it on their Smart TV but when I tried to research this and get official confirmation from either Amazon or twitch I couldn't find any official document that mentions device restrictions I also reached out to the Press team at twitch and have yet to hear back at the time I'm recording this video so once Thursday night football starts up I'll try to watch it myself with twitch on my TV and report back to you in the comment section of this video what happens until then I'd say it's better to just assume that you might be restricted on watching Thursday night football through the TV version of the Twitch app so now let's get on to the third way to watch Thursday night footb football if you live in one of the in Market cities for the teams that are playing you can watch their games on one of your local broadcast channels this might vary a little bit depending on the city you're in though so double check your team schedule for example if you live in the Buffalo New York area you can watch the September 12th game on your local ABC station for more details on watching the local broadcast channels you can check out my video playlist and there is one final place besides Prime video that you can watch Thursday night football and that is with NFL plus with NFL plus you can watch Thursday Night Football alongside the NFL Network Monday night football Sunday Night Football and the local Sunday afternoon games all in the same place for just $6.99 a month but the catch is that to watch the games live you can only watch them on a mobile device like a smartphone for more details on watching all of the other games this NFL season you can check out my video but that does it for now how do you plan on watching Thursday Night Football let me know in the comments as always if you liked this video and found it helpful make sure to give it a thumbs up and be sure to subscribe to this YouTube channel to stay up to date with all things streaming thanks for watching everyone bye-bye
