chill time some football time some nice weather fingers crossed I like that so we have some nice weather here in Western am finally Tyler uh you golf this weekend brother and I heard that you shot what 500 was it yep I was uh I actually played for the Tim Hortons hockey Plex I ended up getting a gig out there and we're up there in waterl played a real good round man I was on fire I was hitting everything I made two like 47 foot birdie putts in a row like you wouldn't believe it but I did man it was crazy believe it I've seen you golf I mean listen T Ty Ty's the kind of guy that's not gonna put down a score to try and look good he's gonna put down the score that he's got Ty don't take a lot of Mulligans if he does you know the only reason I think I've ever seen you take very Mullin because Timmy took [ __ ] two for every hole on 18 um usually pop I'll use it can you can you beat Biden though is is the question can I be can yeah that's a good question can you be Biden he can't even get gas and oil right how could I not beat him anybody can beat Biden at anything because this dude is like you're the current president and you're not gonna run for a re-election like oh it's probably a good idea I mean that's probably the smartest thing he's done since he's got in an office H to decide not well I mean I don't think it was decided for him anyways We're not gonna get all yesterday had a 31 to 26 loss against the Carolina Panthers I think Bryce Young's probably best look since he's been in the NFL I mean I know it's preseason this and that they weren't playing against any starters but it was kind of nice to see Bryce Young Who I kind of felt got the short end of the stick last year in Carolina with the way that they handled everything their head coaching situation um obviously a little dysfunctional over there I I still think he's got a chance to be good but we saw some great things out of some Buffalo Bills players namely Frank Gord Jr we're going to talk about that later in the show as well um much more too regarding the 53 man roster who I think is going to make a case we're GNA hear about what Kirby's takes are on the Buffalo Bills heading into the 2024 regular season and uh I'm ready just to talk some [ __ ] football with the gentem but let's start off with on this day in sports history uh I'm G to give you guys a couple ones here let's see you've seen this weekend past week what do you think I think it's going to go back farther than that man we haven't been on in a while so let's just talk about USA Basketball getting gold I'm you know I'm pumped about that Steph Curry played out of his mind I was watching every game dude unfortunately I was laid up in bed so but it's it's a great thing to see you know they talk about 96 to 2024 I mean it's pretty sad when you don't put Jason Tatum in the game but that's just me I I really don't understand what that whole about with Jason Tatum I I guess maybe Steve Cur got a little bit like Boston animosity the championship play I understand there is some controversy around that too but um okay I don't know how far I mean I know that the Championships were just here recently too maybe it was just a sort of maybe a rest kind of thing I don't know uh that's my only interpretation of it I don't know why maybe maybe his game didn't mesh well with the with the other guys I mean really would you what you saw in the court was was the best product that they had and I don't know if Jason Tatum is GNA really make that much of a difference with that kind of uh even Anthony Edwards wasn't getting as much time you know what I'm saying this kid was out of his [ __ ] mind in the brows I think they just realized LeBron Steph Curry and uh B bio Jo those guys are going to go out there and do do you think is the greatest uh Sports story that you saw this past weekend ah that the Steelers don't know which quarterback they're going to be picking yet that it's uh it's entertaining to me I mean that's you know it's a rival what can I say I'm a Jags fan uh I just find it interesting I think either one it's meant for me um I honestly think Justin Fields is if he gets the starting job and they develop the offense correctly and they don't have Matt Canada over there anymore so that's that's helpful I think he's gonna be the starter and I think he'll be their their idea of what they want to try to go forward with for quarterback in the future I don't think Justin Fields is bad at all I don't think Chicago was good I don't think I I think that Justin Field's also he he got hurt a little bit there too but I mean the kid can [ __ ] run his ass off he can make throws I think George Pickins is a good one B receiver maybe but like if they were gonna get Brandon iuk that might have made a good difference I don't know if he's really a number one receiver in my opinion Brandon auk but uh overall I think that's a pretty good story there too Kirby I like that Russell Wilson definitely ain't any [ __ ] good anymore he's done you know's a bronos country let ride I think he could have one last ride per se to make it you know and and to I guess have an okay performance uh but that's all he'll be remembered as because this ass end of his career has been I don't know just garbage time it seems um yeah I don't know the thing is though is I don't really think that Justin Fields is that good I mean that guy is the king of fumbling some way somehow I mean it's just it randomly happens you he'll be on fire and then boom fumble maybe he recovers it maybe he doesn't but he is notorious for fumbles that's I think they should have kept Mason Rudolph they might have been in a better lucking situation Mason Rudolph got a little bit of pay though didn't he he got paid by that Tennessee there you know who I'm really curious about is seeing what uh Kyler Murray's doing because I think if he doesn't perform this year and we're talk a little NFC here but if he doesn't perform this year I think he's playing Call of Duty fulltime I mean that's just me yeah I mean I I definitely maybe it's his plan you know so at this point um I got Star Wars Legos right now on Xbox he just played what's up Kirby can I say this before we get in any further than where we are right now I just got to say you guys got yourself a steal and I predict that that guy will be taking James Cook's job James Cook y this James Cook can cook all right I'm saying like that dude Cooks Frank Gord Jr my only thing uh we're GNA talk about that so we're leading into the Frank gour Jr topic obviously for the bord bills yesterday after the 31 26 um loss that he was the highlight of the day for us I mean the bills had scored a touchdown in the entire preseason until yesterday and they finally had that showing and actually what set up the first touchdown for the bills was a nice 17 yard run from Frank Gore Jr that really showed his ability to kind of cut through the field and his ability to see down the field I like that he said it's a steal that we got because he he went undrafted he undrafted and and look he's been under the guidance of his dad who is one of of the goats I mean he was just in Buffalo his dad was his 20 number 20 Jersey on you know he was he played for Buffalo for a year back in 2019 he had a solid year um I really think that it's it's tough Kirby because you just brought up a great point we're gonna have a tough time keeping Frank Gore Jr uh if he gets caught I don't know if he's going to make it to the practice squad he'll probably get picked up by somebody else because he did have a great sh I think obviously his toughness is there he's got his dad obviously his dad is Is Awesome from everything that I've ever heard from anybody that had encountered Frank Gore in Buffalo they said this dude was [ __ ] awesome he would eat like 40 wings and Crush like 12 Beers just because he was just you know thirsty and tasted good with the wings he'd be chilling and he always wore those like plain old black [ __ ] Tyler what did you think of Frank gor Jr's performance man does he really make a case to be on this team thank you has to be I mean dude I hate that the running back positions got so depreciated because like if you remember back in when I went to school the running back was usually your best player I mean even if he didn't play running back no you're playing running back because we got to hand the ball off 35 times and do call the same play over and over again but you know what you got the job done so I think that's a huge thing in football which I understand like you know hits and all that stuff they don't want people getting injured but like you can still throw a throw a little flat route to the running back like I don't understand why these these teams are starting to unappreciated running backs they go through the most Endeavor that anybody would ever think of I like that you just brought that up man the NFL landscape is so [ __ ] different than it once was I mean Superstars were the running backs yeah you saw receivers were like they weren't like it is today like the receiver position is much more [ __ ] popular and much more utilized and a bigger ass set to the team than the running back I mean you got guys that aren't we don't see running backs taken very high in the NFL draft anymore I think the last highest I can remember was Ezekiel Elliott back in like 2016 um yeah Leonard forette it was like high Prospect too I just it's so much of a different landscape nowadays that like I really believe the bills have themselves a great situation with what they do have James Cook I like Ty Johnson he's been very effective in The Limited touches that he got last year but I like his his his style of running I mean he's downhill but he's also fast and explosive he can break off tackles he can catch out of the back field um we haven't seen much of him in the preseason due to some injury but then you have rookie Ray Davis out of Kentucky and as Timmy said Ray Davis is like some dude that's gonna come come to the party and matavia and steal your [ __ ] I don't know why he had to say that but Ray Davis is good man he's down downhill 58 225 and he has a little bit of a different kind of element but I liked what I saw Frank gour Jr yesterday and I do not want a guy that's already had his Dad we just said it his dad played the most career games as an NFL running back they said the uh the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I think if anybody has to be put on the practice squad it's not necessarily saying oh you're completely written off off the team you know but I do think that will be I I don't think it'll be Frank Gore Jr let's just say that um I think maybe him being undrafted and everything sure but the talent you know Rises to the top the creb Rises to the top I think down the road in the very new near future that's my take is this is my opinion that I think that Frank gour Jr will be taking James Cook's job and for next to nothing Kirby I I I I can I can respect that take but I gotta be honest all right the only way that that's going to happen is if number one he does make the the he makes the active Squad okay number two James Cook does have some issues he's had some fumbling issues he does he has had some drop issues and and there've been some critical drops I'm not gonna lie but he's also made some pretty big [ __ ] plays and he was huge for us last year I mean it was our first thousand yard rusher in since 2007 I think it was I mean yeah James Cook is really don't get me wrong James Cook is running back one I'm not even questioning that one one bit I'd have to see more of a sample size because then again we're playing in the final game of preseason and it's not even against the starters per say and that's what makes you that's what I have to remember that and it's also still preseason yes and the actual action is going to be different but then again if he gets the opportunity like you're saying I agree with that then he makes the best of it then he definitely is going to make a case to to rise above I think right now Kirby that the discussion we should definitely have because obviously you know you're you're coming from outside the bills Mafia and saying that I love that uh we got to discuss Ray Davis or Frank Gord Jr because Ray Davis they drafted all right they drafted the kid he had a solid Camp he had a solid preseason and like I said this he was the running back three looking to possibly overtake Ty Johnson at running back two so for me I got to talk about the case of Ray Davis versus Frank gour Jr and Joey hatch in the comments I'm curious as what you think Frank gour Jr or Ray Davis obviously getting down to the 53 man roster tough Tyra let's go to you for a second here brother Frank Gard Jr or Ray Davis I think I go Frank Gorge just because like even when he was a kid like it's like a mcaffrey situation right where you're learning from your old man like and he taught you the right way he didn't teach you you know he wasn't really your coach you know he had to earn it so like you got you get into the spot go to the NFL I don't think he's gonna I don't think he's gonna blink man I think he's gonna just you know play smart football because hey I'm a running back in the National Football League you don't want to pay me that's fine but I'm not going to try as hard because I got bills to pay and I got families and like you can't it's so so I think you keep a guy like Frank G but you keep one on the practice squad I think keep them both you know it really just depends like say injuries happen right your lead horse goes down well you got a guy on the practice squad that's been putting in the time and the hours so I 100% agree my only thing is uh Ray Davis his life was not great he is a fighter went from homeless to the NFL there is no quitting this kid that's great I love that the bills get guys that have character like this you know I mean and they're making the best of these opportunities Ty I think if Frank Gore Jr gets caught I don't think he will make it to the bills practice squad I think he will definitely get poached to pick up uh to go to the active Squad so basically how that works in Kirby I'm not sure if you know if you get caught you have a chance to if you clear waivers you can then go to practice squad of the team that that cut you which happens all the time or a team sees hey we want to pick that dude up and they claim you off the waivers they can they go to their active roster they can't go on in their practice squad that's how that works if you're going to pick them up for your active roster then you to poach him um yeah um so go ahead and I I just think okay like I said that Apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I totally understand and respect the hell out of this Ray Davis guy okay uh I didn't know that about his his life story um so for him to make it this far is is pretty much a miracle and and that's saying something for that guy Aaron judge just hit his 50th home run by the way which I do have a real [ __ ] prop bet in for Aaron judge to hit a home run today did because [ __ ] FanDuel plus 164 that's terrifying to hit a home run meaning that this dude more than likely is going to hit a home run then he's not going to hit a home run in a sense and it's you're [ __ ] nuts dude uh we'll talk about some baseball here in a minute because I definitely I'm [ __ ] Ling what I've been seeing out of the um out of the New York Yankees as a break but all right so we don't know if Frank G Jr is going to make it to at the bills practice squad we don't know uh you can protect two players a week on your practice squad uh and and damn it Buffalo Joe better make the 53 man roster man so we talking Joe andrees right Joe andrees everybody loves Buffalo Joe this kid is a HomeTown guy fing in for Matt Milano Kirby being on the outside looking in what are some of the biggest question marks you have for us as bills people and like you know what what do you think um what are what are your question marks for our team uh just if the defense will be as robust as it was last season I mean I don't know like is it Matt Milano it's Matt Milano he's out right for how long do does it say a season or no it is um it is we're looking at possibly a December return there is no timetable he's definitely not going to be back anytime soon but they're hoping for a December return is the last thing that I heard H I kind of feel like as a I don't know if this is you guys or not but I mean as a Bills fan I mean you guys being Bill's fans me being a Jaguar fan on the outside looking in he's a very very like almost like I'm not saying the engine but I mean pretty much he's like the heart and soul of the defense I mean he's notorious on defense Matt Milano is phenomenal when he's on the football field and he's definitely had some injuries in recent years he's had uh I think he had torn biceps a few years back he just had a broken leg last year but I mean when he is on the field is terrifying but it's It's just tough he hasn't been on the field as much it's a big big significant loss and uh as much as I honestly think that the kid and reeson did a great job and he's shown us some things it's not like you could just easily replace matano Ty uh what are your takes on the matano situation I just hope he's still working out his lower half you know I get your arms messed up but that doesn't mean your legs don't work so hopefully he not just is going to sit on the couch and watch these eight months cuz you know but and I don't think he will I think he's [ __ ] right I don't think that's the type of person that he is so overall you got Dorian Williams so and I know Kirby you haven't heard anything about Dorian whims this kid has got a a really a ton of potential he's a prototype of [ __ ] athlete and this kid Brandon be Bill's general manager said that you can hear the hits that he [ __ ] hits on people and for some reason he could just tell that it's legit probably he's probably hitting people absolute hardest on the team Dorian Williams has show me a lot of that he show me a lot of progression this is a kid that had a lot of uh growth to have in his first year last year and he had to step into a situation like that as well but the bills are are going to be all right because they do have sha MC thur Bobby babich on the defense as the defensive coordinator and these guys always have the guys ready to play right we lost Jordan puer Mike High We Lost J Davis White my favorite [ __ ] Buffalo Bill okay and yet I'm still excited about our defensive back situation with H Alam R Douglas Taran Johnson I like Christian Benford back there I also like the fact that we got Taylor R in the secondary you know what I mean we have Mike Edwards possibly just coming off an injury you know and we also have to kid Cole Bishop out of Utah I like what I saw from him he got hurt but he's back I really think that man we have a chance to really stand up in the secondary and at the linebacker position if [ __ ] Ed aliver Von Miller AJ panessa Greg rousel do EX exactly what the [ __ ] those four are supposed to [ __ ] do and recab it and make it so that that they don't have time to throw the ball you could have the worst secondary in the league but if you have the most elite pass rush and you could literally just be just you You' be counted as one of the best passing defenses in the NFL ironically right so kiry that's a good point um and I like something you brought up there was hit right because everybody's like oh the NFL you can't hit you can't hit no you can hit but you got to do it the proper way you make 35 million dollars to learn how to throw a football you can learn how to hit properly here's a good question by the way now now knowing that you have uh you lost two seasons with mat Milano would you rather have uh Chaine Evans back instead now no because the guy got paid a [ __ ] ton of money by Chicago and as much as he was good I don't think that I think that it puts us in a situation right now with our salary and our cap and everything like that to where we're able to be competitive at this point because if we had to take on a contract like K Emmons with Stefan digs cap hit this year man we'd be [ __ ] see I I like I like so there's one thing going back to those questions but like a what have scenario I think a guy the Buffalo Bill should have kept was Devin Singletary I think you know you get a guy like that a nice role player you know he did his job he was a great running back and then you like those are the type of players you keep right if you get a franchise player like a guy like Josh Allen he obviously commands a lot of money okay so you know you got a middle linebacker yeah you might be able to keep them but you don't have any Talent around them it's like how I say with these teams like when they take quarterbacks right like how are you going to take a quarterback but he's got nothing to he can't do anything so you just set him up for failure like it it's all about like building a team right like you got to have kerie you got to have people let care you got to have culture man because if you're just going into a football game pouring rain nobody wants to play guess what you're going to lose that football game so it's all about you know head coaching I think's huge um just being happy in your situation man so Kirby Tyler just brought up a great point about culture and that's something the Buffalo Bills had to Really Turn Around completely when sha mcder became our head coach back in 2017 and the first piece that really was travius white being drafted to the bills they said to him you're the you're the first piece in US changing the way that this franchise is like sucking the [ __ ] coming up short the the no B the no actual winning culture in a sense and it's huge what do you I want to know what is the what is the culture like in Jacksonville what is it like over there I think be uh I think it's going to be a fantastic season man and I think btj is going to be basically our Justin Jefferson I mean that's a bold take but he's an athletic freak dude I mean an athletic freak LSU has them ranked as one of their I mean alltime if not the number one most athletic receiver that they've had I like it so the Jaguar for a long time weren't really cultur like culture wise like they they didn't have a ton of success you know what I mean obviously the Buffalo Bills didn't either um your current head coaching situation Doug Peterson is that uh ideal like is that the guy that you really want to have continuing to build your franchise with you're gonna have to take on Trevor Lawrence's contract here coming up in a couple seasons and that I am understanding as a b fan now like well I've already understood but saying that we're feeling it now obviously because we have to pay joshan big money uh do you think that your franchise is heading in the right direction even with teams like the Texans and what they've been able to the way that they look and everybody's hype about them even the Colts Anthony Richardson looking all right do you like the direction of your franchise in the current AFC South landscape I do uh I guess if I had I guess if I had a a complaint would maybe be if press Taylor it's calling plays and it just is not working out for us because we have all the right parts on offense to do exactly what we need to do be competitive get into the playoffs but if if we again have you know our hiccups with play calling an offensive coordinator I don't know man uh because they seem to be like this you know Doug Peterson press Taylor so I don't know there's some questions to be had but I I mean we'll figure it out and I just feel like everybody's having fun right now that's and that means a lot to us um everybody seems to have each other's back I mean when you looked at the sideline and just looked like everybody was having so much fun and I hope we can carry that into the regular season but that would be my only huge concern because I think the offensive line is just okay I guess we can work with it it's it's not that good but I guess it's building it's building it's definitely building it's building defense is stacked I mean the killers that we have wide receiver now dude I have no complaints other than maybe our backup don't know what he's doing but we can figure it out as the season huh no there's no there's no spark for the Saints right now yeah I know what I know exactly what like I don't say that in a negative way either no because you can't but really I mean what are what are our like I said our division's weak so are we going to be the least watched division this year probably but like we'll see how it goes you know we got players we got Ryan Ram Trek still there so we'll see what happens but we'll have to figure it out as we go I mean like you said though at least the NFC South isn't really a very competitive conference or division right now do the Saints have a real quarterback or is he a running back um I mean you go to you got to take the you know TM Hill route he's hey he wants to do it put him up in the put him up in the lift and let him hang that ceiling because he wants to do it yeah that I have this feeling that that dude is gonna have a wicked season uh so if you play a fantasy this break and it had all these random years some of them were hobby boxes um anyways it's a panini playoff hobby box I forget what year but it was older I got the spot it was like 27 bucks and some change total anyways they open up the box and and the card that I get I get the Saints and it was still the DAT probably the coolest card i' ever owned and I regret selling it but it was a dual Auto of Drew Brees and mares coulston wow uh 10 out of 10 two you know both of their autographs on that card I kicked myself today because I think I let that go for like 160 bucks I I I should have just kept it and great bro I would have bought it from you for that so yeah I actually I'm glad that you guys brought up cards because I think you guys are both going to like um he came on in the podcast had this feeling because I did bet on the Falcons against that Patriot the Patriots back in the day and Super Bowl uh that did not work out well for me I was sweating the whole time I was very let's talk about that dude no let's talk about that because I think the Patriots all the Falcons some [ __ ] because they just give him judon like come on come on they gave him 28 to three you know what I'm saying yeah come on well I was going back to what I was saying I had the strange feeling that the Saints are going to win so of course I I put money on the Saint I mean not the Saints uh the Chiefs uh winning the Super Bowl because I just had this feeling I just the Taylor Swift showing all the time I mean I'm like this is this something's going on here something is is up with the Chiefs their their fan base is more fired up than ever before I have this strange feeling that they're going to win it all so in the in the playoffs I'm I'm I'm betting on them and I have this strange feeling now that and I hate to say it I'm a Jags fan obviously their rival you you know a rival to you guys as well but I just got this weird feeling that it could possibly be a three pie kind of year nah n no no man that's what they're trying to get people to believe in the hype for I I placed a future today I mean not much but I I I did I get it you know and I respect it because like like I say the bills and the Chiefs like obviously they can't play each other in the Super Bowl but let's say they were I would I guess you could be a smart man to put money on the other team you know what I mean because like if you if your team doesn't win at least you win [ __ ] ton of money but I just I don't know man I I think unless there's some sort of serious favoritism or Pat Mahomes is really that [ __ ] much better than everybody else think so that that that move that he did I've never seen life yeah behind the back yeah and he said it wasn't planned it was planned it was hey I get it man I'm a Jags fan till the day I die I just gotta say I've never seen that before and I was like oh my I it's going to be one of those years again I don't know I don't know but that's my prediction if I had to put the money on it right now I mean it's come on I'm a j fan it's more realistic to put money on the Chiefs right now to win it all in the future I mean I could throw a little bit of money on the Jags too I could sprinkle a little bit of bets in but that's what I I I really I I really believe if the bills stay healthy I'm not just saying this because I'm a Bills fan either I really believe the the the the trading of Stefan Diggs has so much more of an impact for this franchise than we realize because I just don't think I what I noticed we were talking a little bit about culture earlier and you said that you you're seeing Derek Carr having fun out there Josh Jen has looked more like himself and being goofy and having fun and than he has in the past couple seasons and I'm just saying he had a great year I mean like his best most efficient year was 2020 that was Stefan Di's first year with us but that's before the ball asking for the ball more before being frustrated and losing to Kansas City that's before all that all that other stuff happens and Josh Allen has definitely got Stefan digs in his head thinking I gotta Force the [ __ ] ball to him throwing interceptions that he doesn't need to um and I know we've always talked about that but I think that right there is gonna set him up to to play with his teammates and and be the offense I I really had to [ __ ] get myself out a little bit of a slump a few weeks ago when I started thinking to myself gosh like ever going to be able to [ __ ] like is it really going to be this difficult to pass [ __ ] Pat Mahomes every time but then remember guys like Joe flacko won a Super Bowl PT Manning won two Super Bowls Ben rothus won two Super Bowls when they were over there [ __ ] playing against Tom Brady every [ __ ] year you know what I'm saying so I think the Chiefs obviously have the team and everything like that I get it but at the same time somebody's got to be a little bit [ __ ] hungrier this year I and I fully fully fully believe that there's somebody out there hungry and if it ain't the bills [ __ ] now I'll say this if it is a threee kind of year they're not they're not winning the next one I mean it it's going to be downhill from there I I I got that kind of weird feeling too and it could be it could be us could be you guys and there instead of them uh AFC is going to be really tough It's quarterbacks are deep but Ty let me let me get your prediction real fast for Kansas City Chiefs and then Ravens game and then I want to get your answer to Joey hatch's comment uh that he had regarding the Buffalo Sabers I think the Ravens are to win and I'll tell you one reason why all right you might laugh at this but this is why hands up hands up yep hands up that's all it is right there buddy so love that hate Roger Goodell in the NFL it's a scam it's not the best team anymore it's about the headlines and who can make the biggest push for money and it makes you wonder how much of it has to do with never know it this guy doesn't [ __ ] have any sort of love for this community at at all this guy's a [ __ ] Roger G's evil Ty we had a comment from Joey hatch saying let's be honest uh that's not the one talk about tayor Swift let me ask a question for all the Buffalo Sabers fans and Ty what the hell is our GM doing and are you happy with the moves he made this offseason Ty give it to him how can you not be happy um you know you bring a guy back like l rough that's been there done that I think third all time and wins as a head coach yeah you let him go you know we get there 90 it feels a lot like we're reloaded like it it feels like you know guys like yok and hher back and settled up and you know you got guys like Alexi jnik back there shooting slapshot bombs and Rasmus doen and then you know you just see you see a team like Florida just win right who was on that hockey team a lot of Buffalo Sabers man so it's going to come down to the goal tending that's been the question for so many years now you know we haven't really had a real goalie since Miller and Miller had a team in front of him too so um I think personally that how can you not be excited you know it's going to be the return of the you know the red and blacks are ready to go and we're gonna we're gonna scream down the ice I really hope so because this is huge for Adams I mean if he if he if this doesn't work out this year which I think full-heartedly that if the fans go and they give them some love and some characteristics we can make a hockey team man so I think it's personally perfect and then you bring our defense is I think our defense is great I mean you got two first overall picks which is the question mark right you got Owen power you got Rasmus Dalene but then you got you bring a guy in like Bo byon and trade deadline that just came in and absolutely fired it up man so I think personally you know my biggest thing is like if I could look back we were talking about this on the bills how I said single T my biggest thing is like you know maybe if we went back is it cousins or middle stat because I liked Casey middle stat he was [ __ ] great I think you know that blonde hair was just making them you know get in the corner and pass the and get those little short short shot goals like Dylan cousins to me needs to step up he's huge to needs to step up because Tage got to have some backup man we already know Tage used to be a Winger right he comes over to Buffalo he's playing Center so that's a huge learning curve in itself because let's face it man at Center you're up and down the ice all night dude you get gassed real quick so he's got to have some backup this year I think that was huge last year you know it felt like if you know Tage went down he got injured last year he only had a 20 goal season so I mean you think a guys it's all about the fans baby if you guys feel it and love it and honestly love it there's gonna be losses man everybody's gonna lose a game it's gonna happen but it's how you take that lose don't sit I don't know about you guys but like when I play video games and I can say this because I'm a very good video game player when I play video games if I take a loss I don't get pissed off I I don't even remember it the next game so who cares I went down and I tried that's all you have to do man and I like I come in Full Circle Lindy Ruff coming back he's gonna bring culture he's gonna have his assistant coaches that are just gonna be on the ball dude we're gonna have a top tier coaching staff I hope and I just you let a guy like Don Granado go right who I think Don Granado yeah he might not be a head coach but I think he would be a hell of an assistant coach I just hey somebody's mic is ising up a little bit not sure who that was all right it doesn't matter retire you're right bro I mean people say oh what are we doing bringing Lindy Ruff back this and that I think they're trying to do the right thing by this franchise it's not that we need Nostalgia or sentimentality it's that we just need a guy that legit can be the guy for Buffalo not very many people have what it takes to in this town it's not like it's a [ __ ] brutal fan base like the New York Yankees fans booing their [ __ ] players after they just hit 40,000 home runs and then they [ __ ] strike out once in the playoffs you know what I'm saying like I'm a Yankees fan so but Lindy Ruff has been here he's he played here's he's he's he is Buffalo I mean he might as well [ __ ] just change his last name to Lindy Buffalo instead of Lindy Ruff you know what I mean then they can call him Wendy Buffalo sometimes if they want uh he's he's great I like what he's going to do for this franchise I think he's the kind of guy that can help mold Stan into that center of the franchise that we want him to be I think we saw a lot of great things out of our goalkeeping and we had an unhealthy Tage Thompson all right so if we get a healthy T Thompson we get Tucky back there you got guys like jka you got olon I mean you got guys out there that are gonna play hockey like I tell you this much man [ __ ] NHL is exciting it's definitely exciting Kirby uh you get into much myself and I will be trying to make the best hot sauce out of a honey s I'm sorry out of a Sriracha by flying Goose brand of sriracha so basically what I got to do is I got to take that sauce that they give me and I got to somehow take my own ingredients my own [ __ ] cooking pan with their hot plate and I gotta make it uh the best out of everybody else on the stage I don't know who I'm competing against I I I already have an idea of what I'm going to do for the sauce I'm not going to review anything right now but but I've seen you do it a 100 times buddy legit I just [ __ ] I just gave Timmy he got a chance to try my spaghetti sauce for the first time gave up all my big Citi and [ __ ] dude was just eating it with his hands outside cold and I might yeah that's right that's football coming back we are getting that much closer to the NFL regular season we have some preseason action out today the Yankees are currently playing and Aaron judges indeed hit his50 50th home run so all that being said has been great stuff uh final thoughts what's one thing that you learned today that jaguars don't need Urban Meer to have a nice kitty I learned one thing today and it's that um if you played baseball in the [ __ ] 30s and you were me you meant something you should have kept all your memorability and gave it to your [ __ ] family and let them sell it you know that's all I'm saying babe ruth 24 [ __ ] mil for that Jersey I mean hey what do you do with it you just hanging on the wall and just like stare at it all day I mean you can't just hang it out and and then walk away you know what I'm saying like you spent that much money you gotta that you got to be doing you know what I'm saying you gota be doing you can't be just having hung for decoration you can't wear it you wear you're done could you imagine trying it on once to say yeah it's never been worn don't worry oh it's I believe that the sauce God has hit celebrity status I don't think so I I'm just a guy that is a a lover of Buffalo lover of chicken wings lover of the bills lover of I can't say about people but I'm just a person that tries to live every day in the best of my ability and God is uh God has been very good to me and God is always great and it's all glory to him man not me uh there's no Celebrity Status here I'm just a person just like anybody else just have a ton of energy so I guess people think that means something although I did walk in on bavia Wendy's about a month ago with the bills head on and the managers seem to think that I was Josh Allen so that's the sixth time I've now been confused with Josh Allen and uh God first family second let's go boys so Josh if you're out there brother get a hold of me we need to get you on the podcast we need to eat some chicken wings
