We are starting off with breaking news in Lexington County. We have an update on Congressman Joe Wilson tonight in a statement from his account on Twitter now called X. His team said that Congressman Wilson is continuing to be evaluated by medical staff and he is in good spirits improving and speaking with family, which is great news to hear. He remains in stable condition at a DC hospital. Now, if you haven't heard yet, Wilson collapsed at an event in Washington DC while he was working on Tuesday night, we're being told he experienced stroke like symptoms. So very good to hear that he is talking tonight and await and alert. He has been our second district congressman since 2001 and is seeking re election in November now, no word on what exactly is wrong with his health tonight. But again, a message sent out by his family, by his staff that he is alert and talking with family and getting treatment. So again, our prayers go out to him and his family.
