Intro hello everyone welcome to my channel for this tutorial I'll be showing you how to make these Daisy blooms the pattern I got from a crochet book and I've posted an image of that book under my community posts so for this tutorial or for this pattern you'll need yarn I'm Materials using 100% cotton now this is a four ply weight that's a category 2 or a sport weight the recommended hook on this yarn label is a 35 mm I will stick to that recommended hook for the pattern itself so here's a 3A 5 mm crochet hook you'll also need a pair of scissors and then you'll need a yarn or wool needle to help with weaving so let's get on with this tutorial hope you enjoy we'll begin with these Daisy Tutorial blooms so let's let me show you how to go about that form a slip knot using the 3A 5 mm hook chain eight so that's one two 3 4 5 6 7 8 into that first chain slip stitch to join we formed a little ring here we'll work all our stitches into this ring for round one round one chain three chain three three counts as our first double crochet into the ring work a double crochet so it's yarn over insert your hook into that ring pull up a loop yarn over go through two loops on the hook yarn over go through two loops on the hook so you have two double crochets then it's chain 6 1 2 3 4 4 5 6 and into that ring work three double crochets that's [Music] one 2 3 then chain six 1 2 3 4 5 6 into the ring work three double crochets one 2 three so you'll cont continue on with chain six and three double crochets until you have 1 2 3 4 five six of these chain six loops I've continued on so I have one 2 3 4 five chain six loops and here's my sixth one so to end it's double crochet one once into that ring and then into the third chain from our chain three that we had started started off with slip stitch to join so here you have 1 2 3 4 five six chain six loops and in between you have three double crochets into the ring round two into that first chain six Loop single crochet so it's insert your hook into that Loop pull up a loop yarn over and go through two loops on the hook into that same Loop work a half double crochet yarn over insert your hook into that Loop pull up a loop yarn over and go through all three loops on your hook into the same Loop work seven double crochets so that's one 2 [Music] 3 4 5 6 7 into the same Loop work one half double crochet into the same Loop work one single crochet so here you have into the first Loop you have a single crochet a half double crochet seven double crochets a half double crochet and a single crochet and then you'll slip stitch into the middle of those three double crochets so it's into that Center Stitch slip stitch so the pattern is into each of these chain six loops work one single crochet one half double crochet seven double crochets one half double crochet one single crochet and then into the center of those three double crochets work a slip stitch Fastening Off Technique I've continued on so here it is to end I slip stitched into the center of those three double crochets you can then fasten off and cut off the excess yarn Daisy blooms we can we'll now go ahead and weave in these tail ends so the end that I'm weaving in at this point is the one that's closest to this little ring that I'll weave in all you want to do is to go back and forth into these stitches to weave in the tail end that we had ended off with I find that it's easier for me to weave this end into this ring here so I'll get it weaved in here instead of weaving it in at the top edge of the bloom so here goes just get it into those stitches all the way down right at the bottom here here you can go ahead and weave it in back and forth into the stitches there you have it your Daisy bloom thank you for watching and please don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already
