the way the hosting priority goes for the final um this will probably be your last home game in in the tournament so just what to get this semi-final match uh at home uh in front of your own fans what does it mean to the guys what does it mean to you um to be able to kind of have that match in at home field advantage well I think this is a final for us so uh yeah be able to play it at home is extremely uh valuable but it means nothing if you don't take advantage of it so uh we've been in these situations years passed I've always said to the guys it's it's not it's not easy playing a final at home um but you have to understand the responsibility that goes with it um and you have to take advantage of the opportunity that you are given to go to play it at home so I think I think the mentality is good I think the guys are you know still recovering and trying to get ready for from you know the game on on Saturday but um and the two overtimes played in that game and so we'll we we'll uh we'll we'll try to we'll try to get back to a full energ this is the second time in the last three years you guys have faced the USL team in the semi-finals of this tournament um do you think that says anything about the overall quality of of the clubs in uh in the American soccer landscape well I I think for sure that the game is progressing at all levels I mean it's happening and that's that's good for everybody um but yeah that that for sure is happening then for you know kind of going after the way that one ended in 22 what what lessons from the way that match played out um and kind of the feess that a Sacramento team played with can can you guys kind of carry over to how to approach well I think if you finish your chances it's different it's a different situation we had way too many chances that we didn't finish and then we put ourselves into a position where now you're at the mercy of of uh penalty kick so um the idea is to try to finish in in 90 minutes and not have to go to overtime but if you do you got you gotta do everything you can to try to win it there what kind of team is N1 uh I think Dangerously in that very aggressive mindset work hard all over the field defend well um the guys the guys have really accepted their roles and responsibility within the way that they play um and so they didn't get here because they can't play and they're not dangerous they got here because they are and so we're very well aware and we're incredibly respectful of that and we'll be prepared for it some some of the USL teams when they come into games like this they'll they'll sit back a lot trying to you counter and such forth do you expect that from them or you expect them to I I don't think so I think they'll they'll they'll play like they do in in all their games they'll they'll go after it I think that's the way they're going to go for it and why wouldn't they like I said they're in the semi-final and so they're they're going to go after it for sure and this is a final I don't care how you look at it for for us it is both teams had games this weekend how how are you recovering we're getting there yeah we're getting there we're we're um we still have you know the rest of today until tomorrow we have 24 hours so um we I think hopefully we'll be there enough of the guys on this team were on that 22 team that that lost in that semi-final do you think guys are going to be using that like remembering that feeling to to not let it happen again oh they they know yeah they know for sure um it was a missed opportunity then and you don't want to do that again yeah I mean they can and they it's it's um two guys is not a lot right um so but what it does I do think is it gives you a little bit inspiration if you're one of the guys that haven't and you want to win one and so I look at it more of a motivating factor that way where those guys all would like to win when they're putting ourselves in a good position to try to get there but again you have to go through this game and this is this is a big hurdle just heal Update Memo UMO Memo's good yeah he's good he's he's he's ready no no no especially when 18 also I never got the chance to ask you this after the match but uh what did you think of Zo in the Midfield great yeah he was very good um when he when he just gets his his conditioning a little bit different because it's different than playing left back playing in the middle of Midfield but um he for the time he was in he was a monster you know he started getting cramps that's the reason why I took him out but on all sides of the ball he was tremendous this I think his athleticism his strength his ability to take space with the ball his ball winning capabilities was he at top class is that a spot see in more or is that just a short term because balancing gam for sure what what L you to move him there what what's his strength that he he's played there when he was in uh can't remember Romania Bulgaria wherever he was um one of those two yeah there over there no those two I always get those two mixed up they just s it is with me but um when he uh uh when he was there they put him in the in the central part of Midfield as well so we knew when he was coming here they had a little bit inone and when we kind of went down man wise he was kind of a choice let's try him in training and he really showed very well so um keep going it's it's it's great that um we found somebody within the group that that can play there as well as he does just interesting having two guys played outside back this year be yeah yeah for sure as Jake's a little different and that Jake spent his whole time in our Academy I think I think zo is a little different because he spent a lot of his career playing left back but really only there play I know you may not be able to answer anything but just is there any word on Kate yeah he's over there getting his medical so I think he's getting it tomorrow morning I think so once that once that goes through then then they sign a document that should be
