boom we are live ladies and gentlemen boys and girls welcome to the Nolan Hwy Anthony YouTube channel and I thank all of you for being here wherever you may be and of course however you may be listening this is of course the big 10 whip around show this will be the final Big 10 whip around show of the regular season I may do another one at the conclusion of the bull season and review all of the Big 10 bull games I haven't decided whether I'm going to do it all at once in segments uh or if there are specific performances that I want to highlight and then kind of do a big one at the end I'm I'm leaning towards doing a big one at the end in which all of the Big 10 performances are reviewed it could also be you know after whatever bowl game Iowa is in I'll review all the the uh Big 10 games up until that point I may wait a day or two until after Iowa's game but that's unlikely I like to react to Iowa's game as soon as possible but I may in my review of Iowa's Bull game I may add all of the other games a review but the problem with that is that when I review Iowa's games I like to review it solely on Iowa so again I'm leaning towards you know doing a a post game of course Iowa versus whoever they play and then just reviewing all of the bull games like I like I would have this year year for each week that featured the Big 10 in college football the problem though is that bowl games are spread across two months so it's very difficult but either way I'll have you guys covered it's very crazy uh how fast time flies I cannot even believe that the Big 10 football season is done I can remember just yesterday uh reviewing the position groups for the Iowa Hawkeyes the wide receiver room the quarterback room the the line you know tight end room and we're already here the Iowa Hawkeyes finished 10- two they will play the Michigan Wolverines in the Big 10 title game after Michigan pretty hand handily defeated Ohio State very interesting to see Ohio State's reaction to to them losing to Michigan uh especially the former players and I think some of their reactions are a good example of what I have said in the past where you have two kind of main trains of thoughts you have the the the fans who say that you have to remain loyal at all costs you can never say anything negator about your favorite football team and then you have the other ones who have an expectation albeit sometimes unrealistic expectation for the current situation that the program finds itself in and if it does not meet if the current coach does not meet those expectations to a te they request the coach to be gone we've seen that with Nebraska with Bo Pini and matter of fact Nebraska even finds itself in a similar situation now I was when I was listening to one of the Nebraska corn husker uh channels when I I was I I tuned in to their channel in order to watch Iowa versus Nebraska and they were discussing obviously in chat there was fans already clamoring for Matt rule to be fired what are the chances Matt rule is going to be fired and the guys were very honest about it and said we can't fire Matt rule because we're still having to pay for Scott Frost and the coaches from the other regime that you guys clamored for us to move on from and we moved on before the contract expired and so we're still having to pay them plus you guys wanted a really good coach that obviously cost money to get in Matt rule or what you guys think is a good good coach but he was definitely a pretty high-profile candidate in the coach on the coaching Market it remains to be seen how he does at Nebraska long term but what he was on the market was a pretty wellside off coach so you even you're even starting to see it with Nebraska again with some of the fan base you know Terrell prior I can't for I can't remember the other player but there were two pretty high-profile former Buckeyes that said Ryan day has got to go we've seen it with Tennessee football uh we've seen it with auburn fo I mean countless programs where they as I said they have expectations primarily based on what the program has been in the past and anything short of that is not enough and you have to move on from and I've said both mindsets have their pluses and minuses okay I'm somewhere in the middle I think it's much better to be a realistic fan and take all information into account before deciding you know whether somebody should be let go and things like that you know I think I've been pretty measured in my response of Brian fence even when the allegations came across uh towards the Iowa huye football program so it's very interesting you know Ryan day let's just go ahead and pull it up and then uh after this I'll I'll talk about the Iowa Hawkeyes let's look up Ryan day and see what his head coaching record at Ohio State has been he's 44 years old very young in the head coaching world I would say kind of The Sweet Spot I mean coaches I mean we're seeing with Kirk fence coaches can coach well into their 60s okay but I would say for a head football coach and and it has gone down tremendously okay programs are much more willing there there's two two barriers that have been crossed in recent years one programs are much more willing to go after a guy who has really good playing experience and was a good player but maybe doesn't have as much coaching experience to give him a shot okay and number two and usually this is a part of number one them being young okay in the past that was not always the case you know you had to have extensive head coaching experience at usually at smaller schools uh a a not as dominant power five school you know like for example uh you know you'd have you know the the common trajectory would be somebody coaches at Tain then they coach at Illinois and then they do well at Illinois and they they go on to Notre Dame or Alabama or LSU okay I would say Iowa is somewhere in in the middle they're they're in the middle of a Illinois and you know in Alabama or you know uh even Nebraska really you know as far as Prestige goes of the program but if you take into account The Prestige and the current last five years of success 5 10 years of success I would say Iowa is somewhere in between you know probably a USC and an Alabama they're they're probably somewhere that they don't have The Prestige of A USC but if you look at the last 5 10 years the the success has been really strong so 44 is quite young okay still even with those things being the case 44 is still very young he's paid $99.96 million a year he has a record of a 56 Conference record of 50 six and seven overall or no he has a overall record of a 56 and S and this is what I mean like you look at Ryan Day the guy had no head coaching experience anywhere but he showed promise in his extensive assistant coach [Music] resume and they gave him a shot okay this is his record at Ohio State 13- one seven- one okay I believe this was the the cof year 11- two 11-2 11- one they have never uh they have never lost more than one game in the Big 10 under Ryan day and he was three and 0 in his interm year that's not bad guys and listen I know that they have not been able to get over look look at the finishes coaches third second fifth fourth AP third second six fourth I know that the expectation at Ohio State is year in year out being like a top four team in the country and competing for a national championship and I would say playing in a national championship once every three years would probably be the expectation by and large for the fan base but this is this guys this is my take for Ohio steak fans this is really really strong now if Ryan Day cannot beat Michigan next year then I would say you know you definitely need to and how crazy would that be how crazy would it be if Ryan Day has another 11 and0 season goes into Michigan and loses to Michigan again now the difference is next year the college football playoff will be expanded so it won't have the dire consequences that it has this year but how crazy would that be if it happened again as things stand now I would say it's not the end of the world that they lost Michigan it it's not great it's not great okay and I'm not an Ohio State fan but Ryan day is definitely one of the best coaches in the country and Ohio State has been a legitimate playoff Contender each of the past four or five years okay I don't think let's see let's look at let's look at them in 2019 so they lost to Clemson in the college football playoff did they win they lost to Alabama in the national championship game after defeating Clemson I mean guys think about that okay think about Clemson who just two year just three years ago okay three four years ago was playing in the college football playoff in the last two years they've had eight seven you know I I don't know what they were two years ago but this year they're eight and four okay now Clemson I would not put put on the level of an Ohio State but still and I think there's still patience at Clemson with their head coach dabble Sweeney so you know you have to I mean and this is the question that I always this is the question that I always pose to Iowa fans when it comes to specifically Iowa basketball okay and for any it's for the quarterback position and for the head coaching or or coaching positions okay you think they should get rid of them okay could they get somebody better okay if so under the current implementation of the team even if they could get somebody better legitimately and I'm talking like assistant coaching positions would they be able to come to Iowa and do okay and and Implement their their style of football either on the defensive side or offensive side this is more applicable to basketball because Iowa basketball there's always people clamoring for fair mcaffry to be fired and I always go you know okay could they get somebody better maybe now they could get somebody better since the program has been pretty solid the last 10 years but before that the answer was no they they would be lucky to get an upand cominging young coach who still there's no guarantee that they do well in the Big 10 it's hard to win in the Big 10 folks now I know we're talking about it's kind of apples and oranges Iowa basketball Ohio State football I I get that but you can't allow yourself to emotionally say oh they lose to Michigan he needs to be gone okay if it happens again next year I would say definitely it needs to be Revisited especially if they're I was I was just about to say especially if they're 11 to0 but I mean just think how crazy that is they're an 11- win football team and they lose one game and just because it's to Michigan they need to consider getting rid of that head coach who has if if if they are 11 and0 next year he will have a 60 depending on how do in the bowl game this year he'll have a 67 and seven head coaching record so I think uh Ohio State needs to hold fast on Ryan day and you know he definitely I I would say his seat is hot though in that he needs to find a way to beat the Michigan Wolverines and the reason why how State loses or has last lost the last three years is Michigan is a team that plays very similarly to Iowa they just do it better all the way around you know they're physical that they're very physical at the line of scrimmage they run the football really well the quarterback makes just enough plays JJ McCarthy's a pretty decent quarterback they don't make mistakes they don't have a ton of penalties Ohio State needs to get more physical Ohio state has become uh since Urban Meyer and ran day has become more of what you would expect in the Pack 12 okay they still have a good defense but there the flavor the sexiness if you will of the program is not as hard-nosed the the perception of the program is not as hard-nosed as it is at Michigan or Iowa or you know programs like that it's kind of like finesse very very pretty football but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty where the talent on the opposite side is maybe not as good but still really good they're not able to get over the hump because Michigan is able to impose their style of football over AIO State more than Ohio state is able to do to them and that is the Crux of the issue all right guys moving on like I said Iowa will be playing Michigan in the title game and I think I think uh most Iowa fans I did a poll let me see the poll I did a poll uh on this and you know I did it after the game was done I think had I done it before the game was done I think it would have been a slightly different result had I done it before had I done it before the game um I think it would have been in favor of um Iowa would rather play Michigan because I think a lot of people still have the bias of Michigan three four years ago and the and the fact is Michigan is a different program now regardless of the cheating scandal regardless of the allegations and things like that they are very talented they play a damn good uh uh style of football tough hard-nosed their defense is spectacular and their offense really for Michigan because Michigan cannot get the type of uh of uh offensive weapons that an Ohio State can get uh on the recruiting Trail due to Michigan having higher academic regulations than Ohio state does they've gone back to this hard you know we're going to run the football down your throat and we're going to control the line of scrimmage on both sides and it's it's worked spectacularly for them so I think the the bias is still there but the reality of the situation now Iowa I'm telling you right now Iowa would match up better against Ohio State than it would against Michigan against Michigan it does not match up well which is why Iowa got spanked two years ago against Michigan and Sh really should have played Michigan again last year in the Big 10 championship game because they both have really good defenses in fact I would say Michigan is one of the very few teams who actually has a better defense than Iowa Michigan runs the football down your throat they try and control the game the the the the uh time of possession which is the same thing Iowa tries to do if it can although it has the problem is Iowa just does not do it very well this year if and Iowa if they can't score against average defenses they're sure as hell not going to score against a m Michigan defense and Michigan style of offense hard-nosed upfront tough ends up wearing on the Iowa defense because the offense gives the defense no relief so the the matchup is not very good because Michigan does not make mistakes Iowa needs mistakes in order to get more opportunities offensively Michigan does not make those mistakes which is why they beat Ohio State so I'm telling you right now Ohio state would be the better matchup 60% to 40% I don't know know how many I don't uh I don't know how many uh votes we have yeah I can't I can't see how many votes so anyways it's 60% to 40% I'll be able to see it after I don't know how many people have voted it quite yet so I the people every time I uh do a poll there's always somebody who wants to add another option to the poll or they say neither and it's like okay if you don't think either then just don't vote no big deal just move on so anyways I'm very happy that Iowa just to talk about Iowa since most of the people watching this will be Iowa fans obviously I'm I'm stoked that Iowa won 10 games uh I'm very happy that they're playing in the Big 10 championship game and the Iowa defense is incredible this if possible this is one of the best defenses that Iowa has had in in the Kirk ference era if not the best quite frankly I mean it's that good okay um so you know Iowa Iowa's defense and Tory Taylor willed this team to 10 victories the other issue with Iowa going into Michigan and it would it would be the same versus Ohio state is Drew Stevens is having problems as a kicker I mean look at this guys Ohio State and Michigan are one of the few teams who actually have a better defense than the Hawkeyes Iowa is ranked fourth in scoring defense giving up 12.17 points per game they're right up there with Penn State Ohio State and Michigan Michigan is only giving up 10.25 points per game so I'm very happy about that I I think it's gonna be a a very tall task for Iowa to defeat Michigan but I'm very happy nonetheless that they made it make no mistake Brian frence has to go um he just has to the right decision was made with that regard Iowa was Iowa won W in spite of the defense not or excuse me of the offense not because of it okay complimentary football be damned Iowa's defense won in spite of the offense Iowa seventh in Total Defense giving up 2 79.9 yards per game this is also a very interesting stat this is the football power index and and this this illustrates how much Iowa's Iowa as a team defied what countless examples of History has shown Us in college football and defied Logic defied the computer analytics computer mathematics Iowa according to the football power index is ranked 38th despite being 10 and two Oklahoma state is in a very similar category as well incredible and the the crazy thing is is that Iowa you know a lot of people uh there Iowa 38th right here uh a lot of people think that Iowa is a 10- win team because the schedule is easy that's just false okay Iowa's strength of record is 16th in the country which is not bad I made a post uh in fact I'm gonna make another post about it that when all was said and done and this is why you cannot make predictions based off of what you think a what you think teams on a team schedule are going to be how good or not good they're going to be because that's what a lot of people do they'll go Iowa is going to be a 10- win football team because their schedule sucks this team this team they're going to be favored in all these games you're basing it off of what you think the team on their schedule is going to be or not be okay Iowa did not beat any by the end of the season top 25 teams this year the loss to Minnesota who end Ed up the year 5- seven stings but the other loss was to another 10-2 Penn State team Iowa did beat three opponents with a seven and five regular season record records Iowa did beat three opponents with seven and five regular season records Iowa state Wisconsin and Northwestern surprisingly ruter finished six and six okay so Iowa did not win 10 games because their schedule was super easy okay in fact I'm going to make a post about this right now according to ESPN fpi Iowa has the 16th strength strength of record which completely goes against the narrative that Iowa had an easy schedule so there you have it um yeah Brian ference has to go you know Iowa uh you know I I do believe that it is a skill to win close games which Iowa did do this year but let's be honest folks Iowa could have just as easily like last year lost I mean let's look at last year's team 2022 Iowa football they could have just as easily been an eight and5 team like they were last year I mean look at all of these scores okay see if I can get it in there seven to three they lost 10 to seven to Iowa State this year it was the opposite they won by uh a few points we're going to wrap this up here soon uh they won by seven points 20-3 um let's see they beat Nevada 27 to zero uh Ruckers they won 27 to 10 they actually did better last year offensively than they did this year uh they lost to Michigan 14 to 27 uh lost to Illinois 9 to6 got shellacked by Ohio State 54-1 on the road uh they beat Northwestern 33-13 they actually beat opponents last year more convincingly than they did this year Minnesota 13-1 they lost to Nebraska 17 to 24 they actually beat opponents last year far more convincingly so you know and this year by the Iowa Hawkeyes as a fan and as a Iowa football contributor has and Big 10 contributor has made me think far more about my perceptions of of wins and losses if your team ends up being eight and5 and matter of fact I'm gonna make another post about that if your team finishes eight and5 but they win their games far more convincingly if your team finishes eight and5 as Iowa did last year but wins their games far more convincingly is it better than finishing 10 and two with nearly all games being won by single digits and to tell you the truth I think the answer is it's just to win the game and I you know I pretty much thought that all my life as a former athlete myself but it is you know it's crazy I mean I will won last year far more convincingly than they did this year I mean this year 15 to6 12 to 10 they lost 10 to seven you know they beat Ruckers by double digits 15 to 13 over Illinois 13-10 over Nebraska but they finished 10 and two 10 and two it's crazy it's crazy so listen guys very happy Iowa uh has a very very very tough schedule in store against Michigan I I think um I am not holding my breath in that game obviously I wish for the best but Michigan is definitely the better team I'm very proud of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the defense the Iowa offense I don't care what any of the the quote unquote loyal fans say the Iowa offense stunk this year it was terrible they stunk okay and Brian fren should be gone but at the end of the day Iowa is 10 and two which I'm very very happy about they beat Nebraska they beat Wisconsin yes the lost to Minnesota stings but they won every other they but you know but they had beaten Minnesota six seven times before that in a row so you know Iowa really has in the past 10 years bunkered down on the Rivalry game games and done a much better job winning those games and the only one that they were really having trouble winning was Wisconsin and maybe Iowa State but even then I think in the past five years Iowa has beaten Wisconsin more than Wisconsin has beaten them I'd have to look let me see if I can find that let's see man Wikipedia is is awesome for college we were never able to use it as a as an authoritative Source but uh you can't beat it I mean it just has so the last five years one two three four five Iowa has won three games so so since the game in November 9th 2019 Iowa is three and two before that Wisconsin won four straight times you know I would say before that Wisconsin was definitely the team that reigned Supreme in the Rivalry 10 years would be one 2 three four five six 7 eight nine 10 so Iowa is four and six the last 10 years but the last five they're three and two so the the other games you know Purdue got a nice victory over Indiana Indiana has fired and bought out Tom Allen I think it's the right choice he had one he had one decent year and you guys know from the get-go I have said I'm not sold on Tom Allen the guy has not been you know everybody wanted uh because Indiana has a really good fan base really strong alumni and everybody wanted to be sold on Tom Allen and I kept saying no no no no this guy is not for real he's not for real and that ended up definitely being the case they bought him out and they begin their searching coaching search candid uh their their search for a head coach and then Northwestern got a nice rivalry victory over Illinois you guys know I've been saying for the last couple weeks that Northwestern is not the same team that people thought they were at the beginning of the season and they are a well- coached team and they play hard for their head coach and he's definitely going to be somebody to keep an an eye on same with this Northwestern program moving forward Northwestern finished five and4 in the Big 10 and to tell you the truth as the as the season went on they got better and better and better now I don't know if Ben Bryant returns I'll have to take a look you know looking ahead to next year with USC UCLA uh Oregon Washington joining the Big 10 you know you look at the big 10 uh West teams you know I I said all year long that Minnesota will go as far as the development of their quarterback aan cak Manis goes and he did not develop very well this year he's a six-year uh senior so I don't think Ben Bryant will be returning to Northwestern um yeah I don't think he will be returning uh Iowa has all their quarterbacks returning I do think Joey lais will probably transfer from the Iowa Hawkeyes uh due to not being given a legitimate yeah he's a six year senior Ben Bryant's gone due to not being given a legitimate shot um you know Illinois so so Iowa has everybody returning Northwestern loses Ben Bryant that'll be something definitely to monitor um you know I it it seems that when Northwestern has had a quarterback that can you know relatively make decent decisions they're a decent football team when they don't have that quarterback they stink but in this day and age with transfer the transfer portal they could just as easily they don't currently have a quarterback on their roster they could just as easily get into the portal and find one to be their starter next year uh John Paddock I think I I checked this out um I believe he's a senior he won't be back for Illinoi uh you know as for their transfer quarterback you know we'll have to see um right so let's see um you know Wisconsin I I I think they lose their starting quarterback as well I think all of the a lot of these transfers only had one year of eligibility now Wisconsin's quarterback may be able to get a medical red shirt but I believe he came to Wisconsin as a senior um John Paddock senior uh Luke altm sophomore so he should be back which which is good uh he'll probably be one of the better returning quarterbacks in the Big 10 at least from an an experience standpoint let's take a look at Wisconsin you know as for Wisconsin which we'll get to them in a second I think that this year my expectation for them was not as high as others okay uh I think now would be a good time to revisit my preseason predictions I think that right now would be they have uh they have Nick Evers who transferred from Florida no Oklahoma um Tanner morai is a red shirt senior from SMU he might be able to get a uh medical register I think now would be a good time to to take a look at my preseason expectations predictions to see how accurate I was but as for Wisconsin I know that I was not as high on them as others were um and everything considered I think it was a positive year for first year head coach oh my gosh I'm blanking on his name I think it was mostly a positive year or Wisconsin I do um Luke fickle excuse me Luke fickle uh you know you compare Luke fickle to uh Nebraska the talent in in my estimation was pretty much the same uh you know if you could actually make the case that Nebraska Matt rule inherited more Talent than Wisconsin I don't think that's the case I think Wisconsin was able to retain more Talent than Nebraska was a lot of people transferred as soon as Scott Frost was fired here we go but if you look at the two let's just say let's just say that the talent was even uh I I think and you compare the two their their record you know what Wisconsin was able to do I think was positive I did not have them I did not have them as a a big 10 West Contender like the rest of the media did because of their fascination with Luke fickle okay I that that just was not me I knew how difficult it was going to be to win in the Big 10 and the Big 10 West and you know here we go to Luke fickle and number one I have the Iowa Hawkeyes winning the Big 10 I think they by far have the most ultimately the um tenure that Minnesota's head coach has in the Big 10 will help them uh in the Big 10 West this season as opposed to comparatively to Luke fickle and number one I have the Iowa Hawkeyes winning the Big 10 I think they by far have the most talent in the Big 10 West uh and they should absolutely so I was I was wrong about Minnesota I was wrong about Minnesota it comes to talent but I think ultimately the um tenure that Minnesota's head coach has in the Big 10 will help them I while they do have a nice running game and you know I'm sure their defense will be at the very least good this year I don't think that they will quite have enough in Luke fickle first year as Wisconsin head coach to finish in the top two they I think they will be a seven eight win team this year spot on I said they'd be a seven eight the road okay uh anyways if you guys want to go back and watch it I I one thing I'm going to do next year is no matter what I'm going to write down and and put it on the screen what my projected order of finish is um I did not do that in this one which I wish I had but that's all right all right guys let's wrap this up um you know you know Wisconsin I think they should be happy about their finish this year finishing seven and5 with an above average uh record in the Big 10 they finished 5- four uh Maryland had a pretty solid year seven and5 four- five uh in the Big 10 uh rers six- six three and six in the Big 10 uh you know I think both of them can can uh Keep Their Heads held high you know it if you're trying to be negative for Maryland the one thing I think could be said is that uh they should have done they should have been an at least eight- win team considering the quarterback that they had under Center you know having one of the better quarterbacks uh in the Big 10 but you know you look at it they played Michigan they played Ohio State and they played Penn State okay they played all three Big 10 East powerhouses um you know and those are loot loss those are guaranteed losses right there they definitely like to get Northwestern back they definitely like to get Illinois uh back but you know mostly I would say it was a positive year for Maryland uh we'll see if their quarterback Tua tag of aloa decides to come back uh 3,377 passing yards 25 touchdowns to 11 ints with a 145 quarterback rating not bad at all um but again I I think I if if there's one drawback you would say that if you have a quarterback like that you need to take advantage and at least be an eight- win football team and and I think that there's there's definitely an argument to to be made there but it's it's hard to win any more than seven games when you have three top 10 10 uh teams on your schedule lastly before I wrap up with uh the top 25 uh scores and my power rankings I did just want to look at the uh regular season stats for the Iowa hawkey SE this year finished Deacon Hill 976 yards with a completion percentage of 48.3 I think whoever the next OC is that needs to be the most important aspect of his first year is finding ways to get the completion percentage up at the quarterback position because it's been several years in a row where it has been below 60% and whoever the the OC is needs to find ways to get the quarterback uh confidence throws uh throws that are fairly easy to make uh and get that up to at least least a 60% completion percentage for the following year that needs to be Paramount in the goals for the next OC with regards to this Iowa offense uh he finished with a negative touchdown to int ratio five TDS to six ints the one against Nebraska was an absolutely asinine throw uh he had a quarterback rating of a 913 and obviously the question is is it going to be Deacon Hill or is it going to be Kate mcamera I don't think Deacon Hill did enough to cement himself as the guaranteed starter he absolutely had the opportunity to do so he he could have taken this uh starting position and ran with it but he did not do so I think Kade mcamera will have the The Edge to be the starting quarterback going into next year year uh I think Deacon Hill has the more natural gifts god-given gifts uh at the quarterback position he's six foot three he's a big guy he can move well for his size uh and he has a big arm uh but he just didn't do enough I think Joey lais will transfer uh out of the Iowa football program which is too bad I think he was a really good talent Iowa's running back room I made a Facebook post about this is going to be loaded this will be the most talented running back room Iowa has had in a long time probably since lesea Daniels uh Jordan Keri and akam Wadley and I would say that this is this is a more talented running back room with more uh horses uh if you will in the stable uh Lesean Williams had 779 yards this year Caleb Johnson had 800 plus yards last year Iowa is going to have two running backs with two running backs who have had 700 or more yards in the last two years in in in in a given season uh Caleb Johnson 779 in 2022 and of course lean Williams 779 this year wow they had the same amount that's crazy 779 wow both finished 779 that's that's crazy Caleb uh Johnson 45 yards rushing this year four yards per carry he just was not able to stay healthy uh which is too bad he did have three touchdowns hopefully he can get himself right next year and be healthy I hope he doesn't transfer out uh you know I don't think Caleb Johnson will be the unadulterated starter going into next year uh it's gonna th going into next year Iowa will definitely have if Caleb Johnson stays and Williams stays uh they will definitely and if all the running backs stay okay and and it is a big if they will definitely have one of the better running back rooms in the Big 10 um and they will have a legitimate two-headed monster in Lesean Williams and Caleb Johnson with without a definitive starter uh at the RB spot I think if you're Iowa you probably lean more towards uh Caleb as he is the uh physically Superior back but you know you know that they're both really good options at the running back spot plus the Freshman got good experience as well um the leading receivers uh is still Eric all that's crazy he in only a few games ended up being the leading receiver for Iowa um you know I don't think he's coming back to Iowa next year I think he's gonna declare for the NFL draft I think it would be smart for him to come back um Luke Lee I do think he returns to Iowa this year uh and Iowa will have yet another really good tight end room if all the offensive weapons stay Iowa is gonna have a really talented offensive uh room next year last last but not least well not last let's look at the scores this video definitely has gone longer than expected ol Miss 177 over Mississippi State Oregon 317 over Oregon State Texas 5 77 Over Texas Tech Missouri 48 to 14 over Arkansas Penn State 42 to nothing over Michigan State Oklahoma 69 to 45 over TCU Iowa we talked about them Tain 29-6 overa Georgia 3123 Over Georgia Tech Michigan with a victory over Ohio state Washington 2421 over Washington state Florida State 2415 over Florida Alabama last second Victory from milro to defeat Auburn after a uh over the line of scrimmage play by Jaylen he throws a dime at the end of the game to seal the victory over Auburn 27-24 Kentucky with the upset victory over Louisville it just goes to show it really makes you question the ACC that one of their best teams loses to a six and five Kentucky football team the one of their best teams in the ACC could not beat a midlevel sec team uh LSU defeated Texas A&M 42-30 Texas A&M is of course looking for a new head coach Ryan day has been linked to that job Arizona 5923 over ASU nor 5623 over Stanford Iowa state with upset victory over Kansas State 4235 Oklahoma State 40-34 over BYU Tennessee 4824 over Vandy NC State 3920 over North Carolina Clemson 16-7 over South Carolina and last Liberty 42-28 over utap all right guys this is the last thing we have here it's just hilar I arious how my Microsoft Word always wants to uh close uh even when it doesn't need to it's it's stupid it makes me so annoyed Power Rankings it's it's pretty much going to stay the same I I have Iowa in tier one uh I don't think they're on the same level as uh Ohio State Michigan or Penn State are in the tier one but there's no way that I can't have Iowa a 10- win team and the Big 10 West Champion playing in the Big 10 championship game there's no way I can't have them as a tier one team uh Michigan Ohio State Penn State Iowa in that order tier one uh we'll see what happens in the Big 10 championship game I'll keep tier two what tier two is Maryland Northwestern um you know Maryland I think had a slightly better Victory than Northwestern did uh over Ruckers um you know Wisconsin ended up being a seven- win team I think I'll move them up to tier two man that's hard I think I am GNA move Wisconsin up to tier two I really don't want to but I think I'm G to have tier two as the as the seven win teams but I'll have them behind the second F second place finish Big 10 West uh Northwestern Wildcats Ruckers Illinois Minnesota you know Nebraska Nebraska finished five- seven um um you know I that's that's pretty much it guys I mean you know could you flip-flop Indiana over Michigan State of course you know could Nebraska be tier four of course uh could you know really could all of these teams be tier four yeah you know but to me tier three is a team that is slightly average to below average okay tier two is average toight L above average tier one is above average to Elite okay and that's you know Ruckers is more on the average side and Illinois Minnesota and Nebraska are more on the below average side and then uh you know tier four is poor far below average uh so that's it guys that is my final tier ranking thank you guys so much for watching I really hope you guys enjoyed the content this year you guys know I have you guys
