what's good everybody it's your boy OA Duke Jackson back at it again with another episode of the celebrity Jun Brothers I want to have a a particular conversation about something that I've seen Meg the stallion post and again I'm taking a back okay cuz Meg Stallion and a lot of these other chicks out here in Hip Hop um they they they they they they seem to have somewhat of an issue with black men I don't know why they do I don't know you know why they always saying something but they seem to have some level of umage and I want to talk about that because it's very concerning and I want to bring that up right now so she puts here I want I want you to hear this with this you know basically this is an article right says after he made some inappropriate comments about you last November Shannon sharp apologized do you feel you've been getting more support from black men over the last few years or isn't that something you're still looking for more of make the stallion says at this point in life I really don't care maybe if you would have asked me this last year or two years ago I would have wished I had more black people in general in my corner it would have felt nice to be protected by some black men in this instance but the more I wasn't getting it the more and more I realized I wasn't going to get it who should feel safe and important at the end of the day is me and I was going to have to make myself feel that way I wasn't going to find it in people I don't know at all now I don't care as long as I make myself feel happy then that's what matters to me let me just talk about this because a lot of black women were in the comments on Twitter saying very negative things about uh black men there was it's crazy when we have to come to terms that the majority of black men really don't respect us um other person goes I'll be so happy when more black women wake up and start moving like this then you have this this brother who I think maybe is living I don't know he seems like he's he's he's the gay guy most of them are the weakest link and misogynistic towards any black woman that stand up for themselves so let them see something like that so why should she care they berated her for years for getting shot by one of them they don't like or support her so why should she give an f so basically you know it was a whole lot of uh people who both men and women I think one of the guys obviously was uh I think was probably gay but okay fine black men don't respect you but here's what I want to talk about about me the stallion first of all black men are not really in your target audience you have a lot of female fans okay we're going to be honest with you so you're not like you know um let me say Kendrick Lamar where he would have a lot of male fans uh NBA young boy has a lot of male fans even when you talk about people that report on hip-hop news and things like that you know we're talking about DJ academics and you know those are you know your lyrics are not for men so it's hard for you to ask for some protection for a audience that you don't really adhere to okay you're saying you're the baddest chick and you you can compete with men and which is interesting because what we have seen Megan is that you don't get a lot of sellout concerts and things like that and you're supposed to be you know dealing with it from the women and and you just don't get no support from women at all all right now there are some black men who still feel a certain kind of way about the whole Tory lames thing but in general even if that didn't happen a lot of black men don't want to support you it's because of how you carry yourself okay as a lady a woman female artist who's you know doing whatever you're doing it's not going to get a whole lot of good look from black men you know you're not going to see a whole a lot of black men liking cardi B and things like that men are going to be looking at you know for the most part um the lyrics in the stuff and um how much sense you're making in the song and all of that which clearly you don't do you you don't do so what are they supporting okay what what are what are they supporting support you to do what I I I mean to to do what what is it that they should support you to do especially when a lot of the chicks that they're dating they're trying to get away from that act like you whenever I had a chick I had a chick right I don't even want to call the girl's name or anything like that but she loved me Stallion and the more she took up Meg the stallion's uh culture I was like oh oh my God like did I what have I got myself into this person is this is this is this is ridiculous I'm too old for this you I I had to immediately let her go because it was stupid I you know I don't want nobody booty clapping it up all the time and thinking that's sexy and think that somebody should support that no it's it's not even cool okay I know that some of the people that you know didn't believe you in the black community and all of that okay fine right I I I understand that you know you saying you don't care that's great choose your happiness I don't think nobody that's a black man is upset that you don't want you know that you don't care about their support you want to be protected if you want to be protected then you need to basically act in a certain way to be protected women think that you should get your you know that you're going to get protection from Men in today's world by doing whatever you want it's it's something that women do need to be protected cuz you can't be just going out doing whatever to women it's against the law and men should help women but again you have to be something that a man wants to protect if you're acting like cardi b or Meg Le stallion it's going to make a man feel like okay well this this kind of vibe that she's giving out is like very independent it's like very you know in your face like that's a turn off for me so you know I it's it's hard for me to want to even care about somebody who acts like that and that's what happens when you see women acting like that cardi B Nicki Minaj Meg the stallion lizo it doesn't it doesn't it's not like a woman you want to just like oh I want to you know protect our black sister or anything like that there are other women out there that behave more in a feminine manner that you know you would put your energy into and Meg the stallion is just not one of them glorilla a lot of brothers are not going to be fing glorilla okay they're just not sexy red shout out to her very entertaining A lot of the brothers is not going to be feeling no damn gorilla black men are not going to be looking for that black men are looking to get away from somebody who like that so black men are going to judge you based on how you present yourself now if you presenting yourself different if we're talking about somebody like MC light back in the day or bahamadia brothers can get past that even even me in the 990s my boo Mary J blig one of the reasons why I'm a Mary J blig fan to this day it's because I mean you know Mary kind of started thought it up a little bit now but Mary you know Mary J BL was always acting like a lady even during the new Jack new Jack swaying era in the late ' 880s with the Father MC video coming out with the overalls Mary J always acted like a lady that was just basically in that New Jack Swing era you know it was still some level of femininity to her she kept that that's why it was easy for black men to respect Mary J BL Beyonce you know but when you're just booty clapping it up it's going to be hard for a negro to just be like oh you know I want to support that oh I want to support that bro you know and it's just it's just not going to happen for you I know you're going to get mad and you might not like that but I I don't care so go it's your boy OA Duke Jackson back at it again with episode of the celebrity junk follow the Bell we're out [Music]
