How you doing? I'm good. Yeah, I feel good, but it feels good. I've been a good camp, you know, practiced every day. They would let me practice. And how really good? We talk about this year's Camp. How would you compare this year's Camp to last year's Camp? It's much harder, much harder. I said, there's one of the tougher camps in the last seven or eight years doesn't compare, which none of these due to league in the 2000s. That camp was an actual grind. These are much different, they're more mental grinds, but we have many more reps this year. A lot more call it periods with the ones. Obviously three different teams came in and practiced with two of them that we went to Carolina. So it was more difficult for sure, which I think it was good. I think we looked like a more physical team and all three of those combined practices. So I think that's good. I think we're different football team or a lot more mature. Especially up front which I think is going to help us starting to see do like this training camp compared to years past. We do like the new physicality and I do. I mean, I grew up in the league when it was double days. So this those not necessarily, no, no, not at all. But you get into a routine as we're creatures of habit. So in those times you could get through it because you're used to it. I think now I appreciated the more reps and practice because you feel like Starting to see you maybe a little bit more ready to play, wind wise, you know, callous wise on the body, I'm the only position. I would see the quarterback to know can touch. So we're still got to go through that process of getting our first hit in. But I think the tempo of Camp was really good. When you look at going into this week one, is it a little more rewarding after everything you've been through especially last year? Yeah, I think so. I think they'll be a lot of gratitude on the sidelines is I'm here in the anthem and getting ready to go out there for all the people that Showed up for me in the past year and then all the lessons and the ups and downs. The highs the lows in between that happened last year, they'll be a lot of appreciation for being able to be back on the field. There was you know definitely thoughts in the locker room after I got hurt that I was going to be it. So to be able to go back on. The field will be really sweet. Emotional moment for me, was there a moment in that time that stands out to you right now? When I walked for the first time, there was a really special moment. I have steps in my house in the first time, I was able to walk up. My steps was like, this huge hurdle to pass for me, and I felt like, oh, I'm now kind of normal and I was a special special time. What's the greatest lesson? You learned about yourself this past year and everything you had to go through to get back to this moment. Well, learning how to ask for help. I think I was a big lesson for sure. I've always been the one that I want to take care of the people in my life and when you're sedentary and you can Over and can't walk. You gotta rely on people to help you. So it allowed me to really see kind of who showed up for me. Who's in my inner circle, you want to be a provider but you need to eat, ask for help. That's actually the best thing you can do for yourself when I say the name, Bruce Hall, what do you think? Three down back and I think that's the biggest compliment. You can give a running back in this day and age. You proved it last year, but he can play for a second. Third down. You can run routes. You can catch got incredible hands. He's a game break. GE. He has like deceptive 43 speed which is funny because he didn't look like he's run that fast but nobody catches them and you can do it off. If another quarterback asked, you what makes Garrett Wilson so special. Would you say these like Gumby, you know, he's just prances around out there and then can make all the moves. What I've seen from him. This Camp is a greater attention to detail on some costly asking him. What did you see? What did you see? And I think it catch them off-guard sometimes and I said, listen what you see Is what I'm going to see and I need to see the game through your eyes, as much as you need to the game through my eyes. So just constantly empowering him to take that that leap with his instincts because his natural ability is absolutely incredible. Who's the most most underrated defensive player on this team stuff? I feel like, you know, the big-name guys, get a ton of recognition. I think DJ read and Michael Carter two guys that come to mind obviously. A lot of attention, goes to sauce and, and should because he is outstanding player, I think one guy because he missed all last season 2, but Chuck, I think Chuck is really added a lot of stability to our defense and you saw it in two of the three. Joint practices that we had. He drilled a guy and in drill guy cheaply. A guy had a full speed run out of and lowered his shoulder and Chuck like put him on his back both times. I mean that did a lot for our buddy looked at chuckling trucks coming off an ACL on a ridiculous like one last plays of OTAs which was filed to. I look for Chuck to have not just a big season for us on the field but his leadership to really show up because he has all that leadership quality inside. I'll actually send someone asked him, you know? Just how there and camp and he said, I would describe him as awesome. Great may be magnificent. Is that how you would describe your Camp? How you are right now? You know, I look at things differently. I expect greatness. So I think I had a solid camp but the bar is pretty high for myself. You know, I'd set my sights on coming back last year and I knew would have been a really limited movement capacity, but there was a lot of obviously frustration disappointment watching the way things played out. This year feels a lot different from the guys we signed. I like the way that things have been trending for us were a little more under the radar which will be interesting. Although we're playing Monday night, you talked about the Intrigue, you've been in New York right now for two years. What's that like, what are the Jets fans like, what are you are going to be here? Yeah, I mean, they're great, they're tortured in many ways but they're super loyal. You know, they have high expectations. I came from a place with the expectation was winning the title every year and Probably, I think the Jets would appreciate a playoff berth as a starter. Like, you know, you want to title New York, you go down in history. Like very few other places. So, there's a lot of special fields around this organization. It's a proud organization, proud fan base, you know? Hopefully, we can get them. Give a lot to cheer about how is your pregame ritual change from when you were younger to now. It has it kind of stayed the same these little know it changes all the time. Time there was like ten years. I never went out in the field for pregame warmups. I just stayed in the locker room then there was a time where I was banged up and in 18 and would go out every single week, early every year, there's different playlists. I listen to I think the only thing that is pretty consistent is as I go through the plan for one last time over analyzing things, I will always find certain guys and remind them just little tips that are probably going to happen. Could be something. I was laying in bed thinking about the night before. Or maybe I woke up thinking about it or maybe some from Friday that I reminded him to just want to put on their brain one more time and I think that's always important when he was Super Bowl for this town for New York Jets is something that they've craved, what would it mean to you and your legacy? And a lot of the fans organization, be special would always create that bond with me in the organization, which would be really cool. Obviously, I got a great bond in Wisconsin with those fans and other organization. This would be just another fun thing to remember, At the end of my career but the gist of this game that a lot of people Miss is the relationships and you can have great teams and great people and not win it and still take the relationships away when he won a Super Bowl. The bond is always just a little bit stronger so to have that strong bond with these guys for the next 20, 30, 40 years we would be you know, really special.
