got to be patriotic if you're English you sing it I mean he's not Irish is you listen to him speak he's not Irish really show you you know proud to be there proud to have that position I don't care at all I'm will Pew with Sunport and we are here outside Wembley Stadium ahead of England's Nations League clash with Finland and we are asking three line supporters whether they give us stuff that interim manager Lee Carley does not sing the national anthem do you care that Lee Carley doesn't sing the national anthem absolutely you got to be patriotic if you standing up there you've got to absolutely embody The naal Anthem God save if you're English you sing it leey I mean you know he family Irish I think he said that didn't he yeah I think so but I mean he's not Irish is he you listen to him speak he's not Irish is he you know so for me it's like sounds like to me that he's born and brought up in England or at least brought up in England um so yeah you know it's a bit different to to the sang and the um and the Capello thing yeah would like to see him sing the national anthum to be honest I think it's really important you know get behind the boys get behind the country um you know really show you you know proud to be there proud to have that position especially you know if he wants to keep the poster you know he wants to go on to be the you know full-time proper England manager I think Serena vand doesn't sing it for the women and she's led us to Victory so that's who he's representing he's brand new to the game he's got to show that he's a patriot he's got to show that he's behind the country and that means singing our national anthem I don't care at all he's never sung the anthem when he was uh playing for the Republic of Ireland um so he does ni I don't know what the big deal is I guess just getting the fans on side getting the players on side I think you got play players that are there and looking at the manager and and he's not getting out of him but they're expected to seeing it by the press and the nation um you know should lead by example in my opinion it's part of the game isn't it it's part of the community it's part of the spirit you do it for your country so why would you sing it half and half understand their point obviously proud to be English but also it doesn't really dictate you win or lose so I just yeah I think it's a bit much if you look at every other country across the world their managers from their country and they'll always sing the naal I understand why people get upset and and and uh and you know people get passionate about the thing but at the end of the day he'll be judged on how he manages England he going to throw him off and potentially lead us to a worse game fine don't sing it do you think it's more important that we deliver results on the pitch than you know then what he's singing but personally though I would like to see him maybe maybe even you know not stand there in like like is it Euro 96 and just really loudly shout it but you know just show show you care a little bit what would you say then to England fans who think it doesn't matter at all he can do whatever he likes you're not an England fan and I am
