what's going on Packers fans Aaron nler here with cheese head TV having just flown back from sa Pao into New York earlier this morning after a bit of a nap I am uh awaking to reports both from Ian Rapaport and Jay Glazer about Jordan love and his injury and the timelines always about timelines uh as I said in a short yesterday and I'll repeat it here media timelines and team timelines are often quite different especially when you're dealing with the Green Bay Packers and what is almost always one of the more conservative medical staffs in the league um I know Rapaport had put out there that it would be a 3 to six week injury uh Jay Glazer following up this morning on fox saying they expect it to be two to four weeks regardless there's a good stretch here about a month probably where we're going to be without the services of Jordan love in Green Bay Malik Willis will get the start there had been some attempt at subterfuge I think on the Packers part about o is Clifford or Willis going to get the start uh but Glazer saying Point Blank Malik Willis will start next week against the Colts uh for Jordan love obviously to go to really run the gamut a couple days ago really thinking and looking like he was going to miss the entire season after that what looked like terrible injury on Friday night down there in sa Pao to he now Sunday morning knowing he will miss you know three four games that's obviously the best possible outcome for the Green Bay Packers on the you know gamut of possibilities when it came to watching Jordan love Rising around uh on the field Friday night uh no doubt that this is a huge test for Matt leflour we know that the more wins you pile up the better your chances at the end of the year to Make Some Noise as far as you know positioning in the playoffs home field things of that nature but given how the Packers looked on Friday night I don't think anybody should be worried about playoff seating or anything like that it's about winning this next game and this stretch here if there was to be a stretch without Jordan love in the Packers 2024 season I hate to say but this is probably the one you'd choose looking at the schedule how it lays out the next couple of weeks they could steal a game or two with Willis at quarterback it gets awfully tough uh in about a month or so so uh hopefully love is on the early side gets back out there sooner rather than later and Matt laflor Willis and Company can keep the ship afloat for the next three four weeks in the meantime please tell your friends tell your family Che head TV we are devoted to Green Bay Packers fans worldwide
