Barry Switzer Reflects on Legacy and Reunion of Oklahoma Sooners' 1974 Team

You will honor the 7475 teams at tomorrow's home opener news that Chris Williams sat down with coach Barry Switzer for a look back. >> 50 years ago that 1974 championship does it feel like it's been 5 decades yeah, I feel has a You know it's a moment by hurry I look back on that era and think what we accomplish is really many college football with just a have a lot of the players are just played well. I found it hard to find footage and read about is because you guys are on probation. Those 2 years you you couldn't be on national TV was there a little chip on your shoulder like OK you want to So I think that and I think I heard something where there's I told the team I said you're right. They said we can't be on TV and and they give us all these penalties and all at that and say we couldn't win as of as of the best place in the Big 8 conference won't be going to a bowl game. But the second best team will be gone. And they'll know that too will be that everybody has their Dewey selmon getting put into the Hall of Fame joining his brother. What what were the selmon brothers like what they mean well first of all what they did is never happened before or since and college football, 3 rows starting side to side the same time.
