free agency frenzy Begins the Blue Jackets have signed Center sha Monahan to a 5-year contract for $5.5 million aav Jay Foster locked on blue jacket here I don't love the term or the salary but here we are this is the Don wadell era um there are some ways that I think the Blue Jackets can make this work namely getting rid of Shan carali moving buenna to the wing permanently um and making Monahan the 2C behind Adam fanelli but I guess we'll wait and see what the team is going to look like I expect more moves out of Donell uh this is not a move that I would have make I would have made but uh there's there's definitely ways that it could work out so we'll uh we'll wait and see and we'll have a full reaction on tonight's locked on Blue Jackets so until then make sure you stay locked on
