Tyrese Gibson on working with Ray Liotta for '1992' | USA TODAY Entertainment

this is his last film and the level of intensity and seriousness that he brought to this movie had as all on set uncomfortable give me my son and if I don't then we got a problem homie what was that experience like for you besides I guess as you mentioned uncomfortable at times he wasn't the most approachable on set um he made it clear that he came there to take care of business but it's also a version of acting and I've worked with many of these type of actors like method actors right where it's like if my character don't get along with your character then we're not about to be sitting on the set chummy chummy and hanging out the whole time I also learned so much as an actor having the honor of of playing off of him he avoided eye contact until it was time to do a scene like he'll look at you like I'm talking to you right hey man how you doing I'm looking you in your chest uhhuh I'm looking at your ear I'm looking at your eyebrow but am I looking at your eyes right now right I'm looking at your rose on your shirt right so now it's time to do a scene action man that shift and his eyes too what right yeah right at times no dialogue the gift he blessed me in life and he blessed us all in his passing
