Sembo Samurai SD Mecha Model Kit! Figure 3: FIRE BEAR!

all right a quick recap this was the first one that I opened on a live stream this is the second one I open on a live stream we're going to go with non- live streams not dead streams for the other ones um so the box and on my clip what is it called the thumbnail it's going to show that which ones have been eliminated um I was going to do this live every time that way I wouldn't know what I'm going to get until the video so I can't really make a thumbnail unless it's um just telling what I don't have so if I do one like this I feel like I had to go back the other way but I don't know well let's find out let's find out if it's going to be fine I think we'll keep that format I kind of like the check off thing not the check off Star Trek so Inside the Box you're going to get one of nine possibilities there are uh six Commons and three rares so far I've gotten two Commons as you can see on my checklist um the checklist on my thumbnail is a lot different okay also every time you pull them out you need to make sure you check the box for everything this one obviously is going to be the red Shogun I don't know what these are called I don't they're just symbo figures is all I get information in English uh I was going to come up with different names like this could be the fire Kai ninja guy whatever I don't know I don't know this is the special one either since I think this one has a special one it's either going to be the 12 and 72 or it's going to be the one and 720 um somebody pointed out there was f11 here's some information if you want to find out these are somewhere between blockies the stand is uh looks like more like Lego and I should have brought a Lego figure in here I was going to try that but I will do that some other time the uh they definely like Lego studs the company that makes this is simbo and they do Lego not knockoffs they do their own Lego compatible kits here the instructions the endoskeleton the same for all of these so far uh that I've built they've been the same for the endoskeleton you're going to get an endoskeleton and I wish they put it in one bag by itself but at least this one uh the pieces are different enough the the blue kind of was a little bit too much like the the other colors also inside of here they put the card like the card's made out of gold or something I don't know it's just a card it's a shiny card um but I always feel like I'm going to end up messing it up if I tear it down the package like I just did it's a very interesting card I think I'll put the cards in a uh card thing I that made no sense I think I'll put the cards inside of a um like the binder although a binder has nine cards I only going get six evidently all right I got some bent swords I'm not very happy with that I do not like eating bit sores these are samurai swords not kpana they're a lot longer and one of mine's bent the other one looks fine but the this one is clearly bent do not like that you're going to get two different sets of hands the Open Hands I don't particularly like the fist I like because you can put weapons in them and I like weapons I think melee weapons are awesome this is the front and the back of the crotch you need to put it over here I'm not sure what this is I'll find out it looks like it goes with his axe and then these are the joints that you have to build to order to connect the knees and elbows they uh are just like blockies in the aspect that they don't matter if you have a there's not like smaller ones for knees and or bigger ones for knees and smaller ones for elbows it's not like that it's just you got to go female to male and you're fine the only difference between these and blockies though is that um there's no like it can bend both ways I'm not making metaphorical I'm just saying it really literally bends both ways so um you can go there's no kneecap to to stop the motion there oh what time is it I got to make sure I pay attention to the time because it's almost midd time and I'm getting two things today I'm sure you're excited to hear about that all right okay so again you just put the male and the female parts together that's how it works sometimes it's hard to get the ma pieces into the female pieces because it's a split right there and uh you know to cause tension to pop it back up and make sure you stick it in the right side if you stick it in the wrong part of the female it doesn't stay and you want to make sure you always get it to the right part like if I did like this it would just pop right back out it's not going to stay okay so there's no front and back to those but when you're actually building the kit you can see it from the outside so that will matter all right um I'm going to leave that on there for now pull this part this will have all the pieces in it that didn't come on trees I don't want to pull too hard make it fly across the room double check to make sure I got everything out cuz last time I was building something or the first time I left little teeny tiny eye pieces out of something I was building um with the shoulders these are the pieces that I often have a hard time finding here's the pelvis the dumbbell the clear part which is a lot like um the um blockies it's like blockies this is low torso so there is a a difference in in the lower torso there's the other uh lower leg and upper torso upper torso Gap red horns white hair all right and the thighs all right so I've been building these already twice now so far as I can tell the front the back there to there seems to be no difference and also there's no print on this like there is on blockies um so there's no like I have to put the front P print to the front uh this goes on here but you want to put on the other piece first this is the piece I'm talking about the front and the back are irrelevant on this piece right now but these pieces right here there is a difference I'll show you in a second so it doesn't matter if you put one on the front or one on the back just put them on there don't squeeze the thing too close the charman um because you're going to have to put pieces in there and I had a little bit of a trouble last time cuz I squeezed it think too too close on one side just make sure you get them in evenly and just try not to squeeze too much now all right this is the front this is the back it's pretty obvious now we're going to put these other pieces on like this one goes right there the clear neck knob goes on the top which gives me hope that there's going to be a light up feature on the down the road again I don't know anything about these kits I don't know if this is a TV show in uh China I don't know anything I I just kind of somebody else showing these on blockies the Transformers blocky thread and now there's a blocky thread and I'm this where I'm showing the rest of these off and I am I I just I really like the way they look as uh Samurai armor like they look like Musha I should have G them that name Musha I haven't heard that in a while all right we got the dumbbells not you all right oh he does have okay so the dumbbells I just realized that this part is different it's been so far the same color as the dumbbells so I'm going to go find not where those are at right here's the other one so so far the endoskeleton has been one like uniform color except for the clear piece this is the first time I've had a non-clear piece or not a non-g gray piece for these now the difference between this and the blockies is of course that the core you put the cup on it this is uh almost the exact opposite for the shoulder alignment part it doesn't also click in so it kind of gives me this weird feeling that it's going to come out eventually from playing with it too much I don't have a problem with the blockies I feel like the blockies are a little bit better built that's just my personal opinion the shoulders are relevant which ones on the left and right so far that I've noticed and also there's not like a this goes this way and it goes backwards so it doesn't matter which way you put it on I like to put the closed circle on the outside and what I mean is not this piece I like this to go on the inside because it looks not as good okay then we got the forearms and then we got the Fist and you can put the hands on if you'd rather have the hands I like fist I like fist fist fist fist all the time make sure you're noticing that that's in the front that's very important all right for the thighs they the same there's no front or back so when you're putting these in I would definitely put just just me personally it's just my little pet peeves I take sure the close circles in the back this doesn't matter either it seems like with a calf you'd have a front and the back but there's not cuz this is only the like say the skeleton of it so you can build both of these and it wouldn't matter which side you put on I like to build them first just in case I need to squeeze but so far I haven't had to really squeeze too tight to get them in and there's not a clicking noise so I don't I just I really like blockies how they pop when you put them on I think these are bad this is a great kit so far I mean that especially the blue one I really think it's a tight kit this is the first time I've ever gotten anything by simbo other than Lego sets or Lego compatible sets so I don't know if it's new to them it's new to me that they did this but they could have been doing this for thousands of years and I well I doubt they've been do thousands of years of plastic they could been doing it for a long time and I would not know that all right I like to go and bit the feet on now cuz why not you'll see in a minute it doesn't they there's nothing else that needs to go on and uh you if you want to put this on first the the right side goes on first then the left side uh that's the right side of each one of the leg pieces because it has to have the thing going through right here oh by the way that's the skeleton they put the head on first now I'm just going to do it bottom up I guess here's the piece I'm looking for all right also I just uh realized I haven't turned the page yet but when you're done with a skeleton you want to open up for all of it and it shows doing it basically top to bottom I recommend doing the skirts before you do the arms the skirt pieces are kind of fidgety to get on I like the legs they look really good I like I like that that dark ever red although maroon would be better um with gold Maron and gold are really nice color combinations all right um I do hope that like on the blue one there's a way to lock it in there but it does not appear there's no way to lock in the the caty so I think I'll leave the cat pie off for now or the shinard is what I should say I just put the cat pieces on all right I recommend like I said doing the skirt pieces next um so the back skirt oh they got some big side skirts on these things look at that okay suspicion is correct there's no front or back it's the same thing for both sides a lot of times they won't make it where you have to have like oh this one goes in the front this one goes in the back as far as I've noticed so far I have a fear I'm going to make really hurt this one that's why I said don't squeeze these together yet because you might have to really work to get it in there and I I'm afraid I will break it after you get it in there squeeze all you want to but I wouldn't I wouldn't recommend it here is the pelvis piece trying to find the other skirt piece NOP there's a whole lot of pieces look like the skirt P there it is all right so there's the other skirt side skirt and I'm going to put it really as straight as possible because I do not want to see it break and watch me cry I do not want to see a grown man cry I'm talking about me cuz if I break this I will be crying I'll be so upset so so far I've not got any the special set and this would have been one of the ones that they would have contribute a special one instead probably a metal one which I'm okay not getting metal pack cuz well watch my video on um my metal pack um with a special the sound wave this is the back skirt piece goes on here and this is the front crotch piece notice there's two little dots to go into it so you got them right in there if you can get them in there correctly it's all y'all's fa it's not mine y'all got to get in there all right so going Bottom up bottom up let me you what to do okay now we got to look at there's sometimes there's really special things you got to do to the chest here's a piece to the chest here's a piece to the chest here's the front chest piece so it looks like a a a bear or I think it looks like a bear okay says like a red fire bear the Poo look at that look like a bear's face kind of reminds me of shito shto shto it's a I I've never seen the series I wish I could um but it came out probably late 80s early 90s in Japan it was in one of my first anim mags I ever seen watch that video I did a you know flip through of the magazine that I've had forever and I absolutely adored the artwork for that I just thought was so cool it looked like what we would Now call St seya but it was not St seya it's very similar but not I don't know if there's any correlation between the two Series in Japan I don't know anything other than what was in the magazine that's nice and tight normally um seems like sometimes they're really Wiggly I think building a bottom to top is a lot better so far I I spoke too soon it's a little Wiggly there so I got to just maybe you got to tighten it up sometimes it get a little loose I want to check that lean joint while we got nothing else on him so he's got a lean joint that I'm not used to with blockies that's a little different kind of like a Ab Crunch sort of all right and I'm going to put on his head next all right so the heads are a little small for my big old fat fingers let me get the pieces I will need for the head piece don't forget there's these little pieces right here for something um I think that's a shoulder pad shoulder arm guard here's one of the um helmet pieces I think here's the other helmet piece and the gold horns so we make sure got everything we got this piece and on here it shows to put it inside the armor or the U helmet first I don't know if there's a certain way to do it trying to look at the instructions carefully but okay now I see okay that that there is where it goes first and just H sandwich it in just be careful to sandwich it incorrectly all right then it tells you to put the horns on the front and the hair on the back so the horns have a little hole and uh lpce I'm trying to get to go in there there we go it's just they go forward more than I'm used to and I personally like it like that but I'm going to build it to the specifications I don't I I wish there was a way to take that tab off and just leave it like that that looks fantastic I let me zoom in on that helmet give you some look at that it's got some lime colored eyes that tab on the back if it wasn't there that would be beautiful absolutely beautiful and you know before I I I go and start taking pieces off and cutting them there may be down the line another use of this helmet without the hair on the back so maybe there's a the blue guy or something that's pretty nice and then of course it goes on the clear knob sometimes these uh connectors are not the best seems okay all right now I'm going to go and do the shoulder joints and this is where it gets a little tricky sometimes so bear with me bear with me all right so the arm guards are these I think let me double check CU there so yeah there's also a slit inside the two pieces I would recommend gluing if you're going to glue anything on this are these arm guards cuz on some of the the white one especially they come off too too easily does he have two different types of arm cards no this is a totally different thing um here's the other arm card okay now we're building the shoulder pads it will slide on after we've got them built there's the now if you're thinking which one's the left and which one's the right it doesn't matter I found out so far it's going to have the same painting on the the two parts that are like identical as far as the way they're used so just doesn't matter um that simplifies things I like that so see how it's like that and so the one will be like the left side will be the right side on this one it really doesn't matter sometimes there's things over here and words on the other side that doesn't seem to be an issue here all right I'm going to slide that down before I pop on the thing because I found out last time for doing those other things it just seems like that's a little better option so this and then we'll slide on we'll pop on this piece there's a lot of Wiggle rooming there I don't like okay he's a little bit too articulated in my opinion all right okay let me see if I missed something because maybe that Wile room is like oh you forgot to put this teeny tiny piece in there's a teeny tiny piece here but to me it kind of look like the things that and it does I just notice that it goes with the sword pieces so pop this on I didn't pop it on there that's on as far as I'll go on that one I'm going to pinch this the shoulder pads and popping this on so I won't have any extra friction okay so so far this is what we got and we got the leg guards right here this is another thing that they sometimes pop off while you're trying to do other things so that's why I left it for the very end okay there seems to be three different places where it's going to connect that's new so not only do you connect in the very front which is the why the white one's annoying the the blue one it lodges it locks into place like you have to slide it under and then lock it into place this one's got three different places to lock it in so that's even I would say even better I would say that's better than the white one let me put that way okay this is a little hard to a little tricky a little tricky all right hold on okay maybe it would be easier if I took the foot off let me take the foot off oh and by the way these there's not a left one a right one it's just they're Universal or left and right are the same all right dang my fat fingers sorry to use colorful language all right there we go oh finally okay as hard as it was to gun on I imagine that' be even harder for it just to fall off so that's a that's a good thing so if you're thinking man it's so hard to build things yes sometimes maybe maybe I'll just make it look hard I have a gift for making things look hard all right there we go and this goes with the massively huge axe which I'm not a big fan of to be honest with you don't ask me why all right so he has a big weapon like that don't care like swords better all right the swords these are the sheath for them and they go into his side skirts oh really do not like doing videos this long this is why I started doing live videos but then my live videos sometimes it's like it's it just goes out on you it'll start swirling you know that curve sword that's curved in the wrong way H it could be a good way to good one to put on him while he's just holding one sword all right so let's see that would be his um you're pulling it out you want to pull it out blade out so that would go right here I'm sure there's a way to fix it with some hot water but for now we'll put it right there okay and the other sword right here all right and so in 20 minutes or 22 minutes I have completely built it and you saw where all the joints are so don't make me have to do too much fidgeting with it to show you more he's got ankle rockers so they stand excellent on their own but you can use the stand I don't like the stands that much I've already tried to use it one time it's a little weird because there's two points of um okay evidently the suction cup on the bottom of this is a tire too okay all right that so I don't personally like it it it doesn't seem to do anything he can do fine without that so we got the swords the swords is not an impressive look there's no paint on the hilt there's it's just a big piece of plastic the weapon you might be more interested in is this right here it's pretty but it's a little topheavy so let's I can put it in his other hand the one that's not got the curvy sword look like a giant lollipop though that's what I don't like about it I just I'm not a fan of this cuz look it's you know I I just it's just not for me all right so one last look and let's zoom in on his face one more time so you can get the all over effect let's see if I can back up just a little bit get some more light in there I like that the the teeth the eyes the the the Jaws the bear chest that's really cool the paint detail is really nice on him so overall beautiful figure very Shogun samurai warrior looking guy dude all right let me know if this is your favorite so far I I like his design the best so far I love that red U if it was Maro it'd be absolutely perfect and if it was maroon he had gold swords oh yes so I'm thinking hm I can get a gold pen and maybe paint the swords like the blade part that'd be kind of cool he is really definitely one of my favorites so far so if I was going to name if I give them alternate names I was thinking about doing like like this would be ice tiger cuz it looks like a tiger on his uh or a lion oh ice lion ice lion that actually sounds like something iel liion ice lion I call him ice lion I call him red bear or maybe Fire Bear and then maybe I call him he's got looks like he's got a wing Motif going on uh Wing sword that sounds too much like wind blade But Wings sword so we got red white and blue so far I guess we got all the three colors that we need what are we going to get next well you have to find out in the next video I'll see you guys later I'm about to go
