BREAKING NEWS: Miami Marlins Call Up Griffin Conine! The Son Of Mr Marlins Jeff Conine!

ladies and gentlemen we have breaking news from a few hours ago um Griffin Conan has been cold up to the big leagues for the Miami Marlins uh and he is set to make his debut tomorrow against the Colorado Rockies in Denver Colorado Griffin Conan is a second round pick of out of Duke um he is also a he's also was part of the high school called the Pine Crest High School in Fort Lauderdale and he was a he was a second round pick out of Duke in 2018 um came to the Marlins from the Blue Jays uh September 20th 2020 as part of to be named with the Jonathan VR Trade four years ago so he was he was drafted by the Blue Jays then he was traed uh to the Marlins in exchange for jonath the VR in September 2020 which that was the year that the Marlins made the playoffs made it as far as division round only get sft by the Braves um but that's not the moral of the story here the moral of the story is that he is and the biggest thing here with him he is the son of Mr Marlin Jeff Conan Jeff Conan if you're a diard Marlins fan you know who he is is he was a he was one of the best players for the Marlins and especially played a big role um he played a major role as part of the expansion team which was the Florida marls at the time and he stayed with them until after the 1997 series uh season and if you remember what happened in 1997 that was one of his best years um with the Marlins and won the World Series with the the Marlins against the Cleveland at the time Cleveland Indians in 1997 he was part of that team and he won his uh first trophy so that is truly remarkable uh he played left field in first base um and then he was also part of the fire sale incredibly frustrating fire sale went back to Kansas City then went to Baltimore for a few years and then part of the trade thing went back to the Marlins in 2003 and guess and guess what happened in 2003 for the Marlins World Series they beat the Yankees that year so he is a darn good player so two-time Champion both with the Marlins um he is he's named Mr Marlon for a reason he is one of the Marlin's greats even though he was part of the fire sale I still do fire sale because it's true um but his son Griffin has been called up um he'll be where number 25 um in terms of Griffin Conan's numbers I don't know why it's doing this to me uh in terms of his numbers uh in the 2024 season um his at best uh 385 at bats 59 runs uh 103 hits as of right now and he has hit 19 homers 68 RB uh 268 average OBP is 350 and Ops on is 825 per. um when we look at his career stats um it's pretty remarkable pretty remarkable that he would would go around the miners um there was no season in 2020 for obvious reasons that we shall not talk about um but he was very solid with the with with the the Marlin farm system he was pretty solid um in his entire career with the with the minor leagues uh miners career there we go career stats with the miners um he has played 585 games 2,83 atbs 320 1 runs 508 hits uh 1,1 uh TB I think that's what it is 128 home runs uh 395 RBI uh ball ball 293 stole um strikeouts and those are the negatives strikeouts uh 242 times um his average was throughout his mod League career was 244 OBP is 344 and slugs 485 and Ops is 829 um so with that being said um this is a real deal he is a real deal um for the Marlins and as of today he's been called up and he is going to be playing tomorrow against the Rockies so can't wait to see it I can't wait to see it Griffin Conan welcome to the Marlins welcome to the big leagues welcome to the show um I don't talk about call UPS this often but this was a huge deal because literally the fat not only the fact that he has he's ALS he's also the son of the Mr Marlon Jeff Conan but the impact that he has made with with the farm system is it's what's going to make this team better in the future uh he is not one of those Peter Bendix um assets but he's still a very solid player for us and I can't wait to watch him play in the future starting tomorrow all right well there you go that's good do for this one I wanted to bring this video out um I do apologize for my voice it's not only late but I'm pretty I'm actually feeling a bit unwell so so I do apologize for that um it should it should pass by tomorrow so hopefully we'll have something for tomorrow but anyway there you go that is going to do it for this one if you have enjoyed this video hit the like button subscribe for Content because my are back and what he does hit you right with the Fe you deser this is my 2G s folks good night
